That is a big part of it I think, how it feels. On my Jugg (Vengeance), I ran some comparisons running the Dread Guard Robot Daily Instance. I have the exact numbers at home, but in Level 50 gear (I have not upgraded any of my companions past that as I haven't started Makeb despite being 55 ). Now to be fair, this is only 3 groups with a single mob patrol, but it seemed like the only reasonable solo benchmark that I was doing every day. I found that when I started, Quinn was my quickest playthrough, hands down. As I started to level and improve my own gear, Vette quickly overtook him. Essentially, the less healing I required, the more valuable DPS companions became, to the point where a 5-8 second channel after each fight still put the clear winner as Vette. Now that certainly makes sense, what I saw quickly though was that, especially in Single Target fights with HK vs. Quinn the difference in time to down was dramatic. Should also note, that I use Tank companion with my Healer all the time, M1-4X.

I totally understand where you are coming from, make no mistake, my statement was, and is, made from a place of entitlement. As a subscriber from Early Access through to today, it would be nice if they gave me a new race as a freebie. I know, 600CC = Free Race, and I don't mind that; I am just saying I don't think it is unreasonable to ask to have access to all Races/Classes as a Subscribing Customer who has pre-purchased both software packages (Original Release and Makeb) without having to spend the CC they give me as a normal boon. I am not saying I am special, just that I (like a number of others) am an avid supporter of the game, and it wouldn't hurt to get Cathar in addition to the 600cc.

Here is the issue though, you aren't taking it at face value. Face value is that as of this moment, Subscribers have access to all Character Creation options. Nothing more. By inferring a statement about the future from that, you are now taking things past "face value". I am not saying you are wrong for inferring something from that statement, I did the same thing. I am still hoping we will see Cathar free for Subscribers, but if we don't, we haven't been lied to.

There was no statement that all future character customization options were free from subscribers. I agree, however, that it is natural to infer from that statement that subscribers should have free access to all future customizations as well. That said, Bioware never explicitly promised that, so long as that web page changes on or before 2.1 release, they are not lying. Doesn't mean it is right and happy and shiny, but we should be careful that we do not make false allegations as it lowers the validity of any conversation that can be had regarding the issue.

I am inclined to agree with this. While I am on the side of the fence where I don't believe Bioware has lied (they haven't), nor did I infer that the subscriber bonuses would never change, adding a new race so soon after Free to Play and not giving it to Subscribers as a freebie (for some classes just like every other race now) seems like a poor business decision.

I guess I just see it differently than you. For me they are subscription bonuses. City of Heroes used to have Subscriber Bonuses, but they were time based on your account, so, for example, you couldn't "save up" to get something better, you got whatever they gave you. To me, this is the reverse, I get an allowance (600/mo with my Security Key and Sub Status) and whether I buy a race, legacy unlocks or some Cartel Packs or instead save it for something more expensive like an Adaptive Armor set, I am the one who decided what rewards I am getting, and honestly, I kind of dig that. So long as things don't trend toward 1800+ CC in general, I am happy.

Now I am sure I will get tossed in the "fanboi" pile for this, but it isn't bad for them to consider the Subscriber free grant when figuring out pricing. There are questions they can be asking that benefit us as subscribers, for instance: "We made this cool thing, we think 1500CC is the right value for it, but do we really think it is worth 3 months of Subscriber Allowance?" "Our subscribers get 500CC every month, what neat thing can we put on the CC market to give them something appetizing to spend it on?"

I channel quite a bit on my Veng Jugg, Ravage is Bread and Butter man. Note: does not make Alacrity worthwhile IMO, just saying.

To be clear, you are implying that it isn't an issue with your account/bank, but that Bioware just decided they didn't need your money and cancelled you for no reason?

They should release an alternate form of authentication and make it available for free to 90% of Mobile Phone Users, that would be sweet.

It is a token that you can trade for a Purple Level 14 weapon in Dromund Kaas or Coruscant. In both cities, there is a place where there are 4 Vendors (1 for each base class), you trade it to them for a weapon. Keep in mind that it is of no use to your current character, so mail the kit itself to an alt!

Oh! Even easier, then I can toss it on someone super low! EDIT: I assume it shows up as the Faction specific version when you mail it cross faction? I.E. no Republic version for Imps and vice versa?

Just curious, I am coming up on Champion next week, so I will unlock the armor and was thinking about getting it for one of my mid level characters. Do you need to be 50 to get to Section X, or can anyone with a Ship get there by landing at Belsavis Orbital Station and clicking the shuttle. Can't check myself for a little bit still as I am stuck at work.
