  1. Quick Update! Ops - We've just about got an Ops team. Could use a good tank, and open to other positions if anyone's interested. Guild Lotto - We got a few Cartel prizes to give away each week and will be setting up a lottery system. Looking for active players, particularly to prepare for the influx of new players that will be coming in from the expansion. Message me here or message Aprils, Khamont, Lerg or Thequan in-game for an invite.
  2. I recently returned to the game with some friends. We were mostly active on the Republic side and still do a few things there, but are playing more on the Imperial side these days. So, we started up a guild and it's been growing pretty fast. It's casual and social. We have a discord. We bought a flagship and have summons for officers plus hit our Conquest goal each week. We run heroics a lot and are working on organizing Ops. The goal is to do a bit of everything and have fun. Looking for active players as well as potential officers. If you're interested in organizing Ops, RP games, recruiting efforts, etc. let me know. PM me here or send a message in-game to Aprils, Khamont, Lerg or Leskerr.
  3. Is the crit chance the same regardless of difficulty level?
  4. If I'm sending everyone out, should I only go with Rich yield missions and instead spread my peeps over a few different grades? Or should I just pick a grade I need most and send 'em all out to the missions available, even down to pathetic yields? Related question: is it better to put my high-influence folks on the rich and/or higher grade missions, or will their crit chance be higher if the difficulty is lower?
  5. We're a very new guild, looking for experienced players looking to have fun and play a social game. We're hoping to buy a Flagship soon. We plan on participating in Conquest and we want to organize daily heroics teams. We'll likely have weekly parties with prizes on Saturdays! Contact Aprils in-game if you'd like to join, or reply here with your character name. Looking for potential officers too, so if you're interested in helping us organize Ops, RPing or something else, let me know!
  6. Nevermind. I was looking at the guild side which I reached the limit for since it's 1.
  7. I tried asking on fleet, but people just seem to get angry at the notion someone might give us something for free. So I thought I'd post here and maybe someone might come across this thread and lend a hand.
  8. Is this still the case? I can't seem to buy a 4th SH because it says 4 is the limit, but I only have 3 SH and 1 guild SH.
  9. My friends and I are getting back into the game and are going to start up a guild. We're hoping instead of starting from scratch, we could take over an existing guild. Also, happy to take any donations you'd have to get the new group up and running! When we played before, we often gave out prizes to noobs during weekly trivia nights and things. Anyway, I'm on Star Forge. Please contact me there (Clayburn) if you can help.
  10. I haven't, but I don't know that I could afford to buy one. We're casual, social players and haven't really racked up tons of credits.
  11. Yeah, but I like selling it overpriced on the GTN. Don't tell the newbs!
  12. Agreed. This is ridiculous. Guilds are too big of an investment to just give them arbitrarily to whoever happens to still be around. I wish there was a way to reclaim inactive guilds or reassert your leadership if you come back from not playing a while and the guild is in disrepair.
  13. How do I know what to aim for? Is there some overall catalogue of apparel? I know about the Collection, but that's just Cartel items, right?
  14. Artifice seems easy and straightforward. You can churn out crystals and they sell consistently. Synthweaving seems more profitable, but is more hit or miss. You have to find the right garbs that people want and that aren't being sold really cheap by other Synths on your server. So there are bigger profit margins, but it takes more manual work.
  15. Fibrous Nylite Solution, for sure. Prices on the GTN are insane!
  16. I'm a returning player and looking to see what benefits/perks my referral code has these days. Do we still get the Friends Bundle thing? If so, what comes in it? There also used to be a 7 days of free play, but the game is free to play, so is that 7 days of "subscriber" or "preferred" access? Or is there no 7 days anymore? Thanks in advance!
  17. Thanks for the offer, but we're looking for something to clean up and run ourselves.
  18. I just throw the lockboxes on the GTN for someone else to open.
  19. So my friends and I are getting back into this game. We had a small guild back in the day but we've lost it through inactivity. Rather than starting over from scratch, I thought I'd check if anyone might have a guild that's fairly inactive that they don't care to run anymore and would be willing to part with it to some good owners. Looking for Republic side on Star Forge.
  20. She gets it. Didn't realize this would be so complicated. I'll give it a try. Hopefully the names don't get accidentally erased through some server update.
  21. The things wouldn't be equipped so that they can be kept and traded.
  22. If I'm using them as in-game currency, then an exploit of the "Made by" would mess that system up. If people can counterfeit it, by for example creating a character with my name on another server, crafting the things and transferring it somehow to my server, that would undermine the system. Or if someone could have a legitimate item made by me to signify a debt owed, but due to some server update the "Made by" info is erased or changed, then that too would undermine the system. I want to know if "Made by" is a reliable way of creating in-game currency.
  23. Because they could buy others off the GTN or make their own and I'd be obligated to pay up. That's why I want to make sure that the "Made by Clayburn" is not able to be counterfeited or lost.
  24. I'd like to be able to have a guild currency. One way of doing this would be if crafters could make their own novelty items. It could still follow the basic idea of grades and use bonded attachments typical of most things. But I'd like to be able to set a custom name for the object. Maybe it has a vendor value related to the ingredients. The simple version would be letting me make something that I can choose a look/icon for and name it whatever I want, with some obvious exceptions or a preface like "Custom:" or player name. So I could make something called "Guild Banknote" for example and make a lot of them. And to prevent counterfeits, the "Made by" would be important. But even better would be if you could have crafters be able to register/claim certain names, like you would as a guild. You pay a processing fee, and maybe have to acquire in-game items to unlock it. Then only they can craft items with that particular name.
