  1. I don't want to be on the server left open for the new FTP people coming in July. I would rather know now so I can work on a character I rerolled...rather than waste my time on a near-dead server working on characters hoping to be transferred soon. I am really tired of reading how everyone is so happy and can actually play with other people now that they are transferred when there are those of us left behind that seriously got the shaft. I came back after not playing for a month (Enjoy that free money) to find out we are one of the people not transferring because someone is measuring data and working weekends is too hard? This absolutely sucks. It is not okay. This is not cool. It is not pleasing fans. You knew exactly what servers wouldn't be transferred. I don't understand why you didn't let us know instead of leading us on.
  2. We cannot help but feel like the fat kid picked last for baseball. I hope everyone at BW has a super happy fun weekend, but if you would actually log on to those servers left you would find the game is unplayable as an MMO (not enough people). We get all excited only to go through yet another weekend of not being able to play? Simple question and be straight with us since you obviously knew which servers you weren't going to transfer: Are we going to be able to transfer or not? Can you understand how that is not cool?
  3. with Warzone commendations that are now gone like Centurion and Champion Commendations. I mean the planet commendations. Planetary commendations leftover from leveling that can't buy anything...like 1 commendation from Quesh, etc.
  4. I have a slew of random commendations from all the planets I have been to that are worth nothing. For example, I have 2 comms from Nal Hutta, 3 from Corellia, etc. My suggestion is to make a Commendation Vendor where all these random leftover commendations can be traded in for something that is useful at 50. Even if it is just credits.
  5. Yeah or Swoop bike racing....anything really to give me a reason to log on and feel as if there is always another method to improve my character and goals for friends to achieve in SWTOR. The atmosphere on Nar Shadaa is amazing. It looks like a vibrant city with lots to do; however, the reality is there isn't and it is a shame. It could be a destination for 50s to play mini-games, etc...
  6. Server Merges This needs to happen now. Not later. Not in a month. Right now. It is not admitting defeat. There is no shame in it. Most of the servers do not provide a MMO experience. I am pretty sure I am not alone in saying I would rather have a 5 minute server queue than a dead server with nobody to play with. Not Server transfers. Merge the servers. It needs to happen immediately. After the servers are merged and there is healthier populations then give out a free weekend pass. People will log on to find a vibrant community and want to stay. Providing a weekend pass where they are limited to only a few servers that have the same atmosphere that existed at launch was a bad call. Merge the servers. Server Community Managers Not a protocol droid (although that is cute). The Community Management team needs to actually log onto servers and make Game Master characters to actually see what is going on. Server number statistics aren't reliable. Log on with a character. Get the server community to know them. A server manager is crucial in maintaining a community and reporting back to the Head Honchos what is really going on. PVP bracketing The reason people want ranked War Zones is because there are the "hardcore" pvpers that have nearly all their gear and want competitive PVP. Not steamrolling the other team or being steamrolled by premades with vent. Fresh 50s pop in and out so fast it is not even funny because they cannot compete with the grouped up and geared PVPers. So they new 50s never queue again. Even if ranked war zones aren't a near term reality there needs to be a bracket for group queues (for the high end PVPers) and a different queue for solo players. This needs to happen in conjunction with server merges because right now PVP is going downhill very very quickly. Summary Those are the main things that need to be fixed. Yes, legacy is nice. Yes, Group finder is nice. They are neat features but do not address what keeps people playing an MMO. What does keep people playing an MMO? Something to work towards, which leads into things that need to be added but aren't as crucial as mentioned above.... Stuff to Do Yes we have PVE flashpoints and raids. Yes, we have PVP (sort of). We do not have other activities to keep us busy. For example, other MMOs have stuff like fishing or mini-games. We need Pazaak. It was a major part of the KoTOR experience and it needs to be in SWTOR. Nar Shadaa is perfect and has all the casinos ready to go. Even if it is not with other players at least make some games in the casinos people can play with their own credits or something. End Game and Itemization The leveling experience is great. The stories are great. It flows smoothly and leveling up my first few characters was great, but now we need End Game content. Not another flashpoint. Those last one or two nights and then done. There needs to be a compelling reason to do a FP or a raid. It is way too easy to get geared and there is a significant lack of diversity in itemization. If i run a FP or a raid I am generally going to get something. That should not be the case. Why? because I get everything I want quick and then have no reason to go back. People "hate" grinds, but grinds is what keeps the game going. The social aspect is great, but it doesn't mean much if a group of friends have nothing to work towards. Then SWTOR just turns into a chat channel with nothing to do but practice emotes on. There should always be several things I need to work on when I log on that are grinds, because that is what keeps me playing. I don't need just one thing to work towards. I need several things to work towards that will take me a long time to do.
  7. 31/7/3 is what I run and works for me (I pretty much only PVP)...only slightly modified my build for 1.2 (Instead of the three points into END under Concealment it is two now with the leftover going to crit under Lethality). Lost 700ish hp from the 1.2 changes (used to be at 18067 then dropped by 700 and went back up some replacing a few mods with END to about 17700ish. I was dreading the changes to the AE heal, but it is loads better for PVP....another 10 percent boost to the heal and concentrated into six seconds vice spread out to make it more burstie. I use two PVE pieces for the set bonus (Everything else BM gear) to reduce the cost of the AE heal, but now the cost is reduced through skills so I will replace them with War Hero gear eventually after the massive grind through Ranked Warzone commendations. However, down the line I'll probably want to get a few Black Hole pieces and swap in the set bonus to some orange gear as 22 energy for an AE heal is really nice. I won't comment on the Concealment tree, but I am pretty happy with the changes to the Medicine tree as I prefer healing to DPS in PVP.
  8. /signed I want my giggle back too. It has been replaced by the same sound a Bounty Hunter Grapple makes so now every time I proc my TA I think I am getting pulled into a fiery death.
  9. Generally speaking (on my server at least) most people will MVP the healers because they get the short end of the stick on medals. I've found my survivability very high due to our AE heal (which has gotten some bad press), but is phenomenal in PVP. 2 pieces from the PVP Field Medic set combined with 2 pieces from the PVE Field Medic set lowers the cost of the AE heal down to that of the Kolto Injection and increases the heal 15 percent. Combine the AE heal with the probes and one can regenerate between 1-3k (usually around 2k) every 3 seconds and that does not include any other healing...that is just the healing from the AE heal and probe regeneration. Not to mention our shield probe and the instant heal procs from TA. I don't use full PVP gear and have two pieces of Columni for the purposes of upping the AE heal, which far outweighs the expertise I lose and my survivability is pretty high.
  10. I've lurked awhile and seen a lot of threads about nerfing operative/smuggler DPS, but I wanted to post a screenshot of a really good match that included a BM geared Operative and Smuggler healer (Me and House). http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y25/acoma4/swtor2012-01-1902-10-12-21.jpg For the record I agree completely with the nerf as I went DPS a few days and the damage was sick. It has been my experience that Operative/Smuggler is much more effective as a healer rather than a DPS class in PVP. Healers are usually always a valuable addition to a war zone, but this is especially true in the 50 bracket, in my opinion. I found myself nearly useless in Hutt Ball during PVP, which on my server (Vornskr) most of the Empire plays. Alderaan War Zone and Void Star is a bit more effective, but still....I felt I didn't contribute as much as a healer. So if you love the Agent story and you love PVP....give healing a shot because it will be much more rewarding and valuable.

    Double 2 set bonus?

Yeah, I wear the Champion's PVP gear for the 2 set bonus and the Tionese/Columni for that 2 set bonus.
  12. Just to quickly put my two cents in before I get back into game.... I was in Beta Weekend...played Consular up to 20...(average story) I have an Agent up to 10 now and just hit the Imperial fleet... (great story!) The game is amazing. It is fun. It is worth it.
