Couple of things to do to get high scoreboard numbers (which are almost worthless btw) 1. FInd a pocket healer. 2. Find a pocket guarder. 3.Ignore objectives and go for raw damage done. 4.Spec focus, cause its great at inflating numbers and accidentally KBing people you didnt notice were on low health around your target. Mix well together then realise that winning games> your epeen.

I think the sentinel fits in quite well lorewise. A gross generalisation of the jedi order is that they generally looked down on dual wielding and using saber staves but the practise persisted through out the orders history. In many ways combat for jedi is meditation, when they're fully in tune with the force they are working the forces will. This is expressed ingame with the centering mechanic and zen. Yes using 2 ligth sabers seems more aggressive than one but they both ahve a pointy end to stick people with. I guess dual wielding is more a personal thing for sith and jedi, how it compliments their mind set,skill set and physiology..It could be stylistic choice aswell, maybe soresu and shien don't fit with each jedi's mind set or how they solve problems. Once upon a time I studied Kendo, no matter how much I practised or how "good" I was It always felt awkward. After watching a Ni-ten demonstration and approaching the senpai, He explained that some methods just don't fit a person.I'm no more agressive than anyone else it's just using a sword in each hand fits me better than using one in two hands I guess.

DO you really want to remove cover in pvp? IF so prepare to die. alot. ATM it's one of the snipers/Gs's primary ways of not getting their **** pushed in.

Works quite well till about tatooine, then after that it slows down alot. That being said you do miss out on alot of thigns by not doing missions dirtside and things migth get a tight financially if your not funded by a higher lvl toon.

I actually think it would be pretty disgraceful of EA to charge us to move toons around. -Its their fault we didn't have servers at launch.I have numerous friends who have quit with toons formerly on the dead servers.Yet we can ahve hundreds of servers to later on. -The american and Euro clients didn't ahve to pay for their QOL merge, Why should we? -Most of us poor suckers have had to put up with 70+ maintences (approximately $55 worth of downtime @ 75% per day) That being said, Jeff Hickman stop spinning us moonbeams and do something. We understand you can't keep everyone happy but for the love of god do something.

If you're parsing your attacks the min/max damage results per strike should be coming up quite differently from your prior relics. Remember you actually have to use it pretty much on cd and get the whole 30 secs usage out of it (preferably with an adrenal 2/3 of the time)

Dots while lackluster are the tip of the iceberg when comparing vigi to watchmen. -Godmode Cd's -They have surge talents. -AMFG raid Cd's. -better manuverabilty. -less conditional interupts. -better survivability out of CD's. Vigi really isn't a bad spec, Its just nowhere near as polished as a watchmen or even combat sentinel spec.

You really don't want to see the damage a sents/mara's/PT's dots do its actually quite embarassing.My fresh geared mara with rakata MH and columi offhand has 1 dot that crits for 400 and overcharge saber critting for just shy of 1400. I suspect the reason why they're added the Dot components on is to buff the damage these moves do without affecting combat,focus and defense. All in all I'm reasonably impressed with the damage that bladestorm and OS do, BS crits often and OS hits hard, the dots are just icing on the cake. Asto resetting MS chance i'd much rather they just buffed the damage that PB does, relying on adrenal usage to get 3k crits with a 31pter is pretty shocking.

The new DG relics are a nice comprismise and you don't have to use 2 of them (though people are reporting nice results with them)

And how does re-rolling fix the problem? Alot of us have multiple toons, serious bank and legacy unlocks out the butt . To just drop it all seems like I've wasted the last 11 months. To put it into perspective, I just finished spending 9 mill give or take on my JK's gear, I'm supposed to just let it all drift away?

So what you're saying is that there isn't enough varied content frequent enough to keep you intrested? SHort cutting gearing is what is making the raids stale fast. The top guild on our server has killed NiM kephess once. Why? cause they don't actually need anything at all due to being able to craft the 63's required. Asto shelf life for the ops, 4-5 bosses just doesn't cut it.

Or for 600 BH comms you can completely regear an alt in close to optimised BH gear. I like they added somethign to the vendors, but 300 comms for 6 mainstat and +4 to both secondaries is abit steep.

However much I loved the resist fights in Burning crusade it relied heavily on having motivated people. I remember spending my bench farm in netherstorm farming motes of shadow for SR gear and while it was a productive use of my time it wasn't exactly compelling gameplay. If they just bake resistances into gear it also removes any difference from the actual content itself ie. "well you've got 15% elemental reduction on your gear,to make it challenging we have to double it so the bosses attacks are meaningful"

The only problem with how the gear system works is it doesn't require you to raid. At all. I've spent approx 30 million creds since release on making sure my gear is as close to the best as I can get, While it might not be perfect take my JK as an example. To get her raid ready I bought -5x migth 26 armourings 1 million each -1x migth 26 hilt 2 million -approx 700k on shifting mods and hancements over to her - 2 million on 7x 63 enhancements(had matts in bank, bought some off the GTN) -2.1 mill on 3x mods -1.9 million on 27 might hilt. so approx 9.7 million creds which is a fair amount, but not totally unachieveable for someone.The rest of my gear came from BH comm grinding. I could label myself as "hardcore" but comparing the amount i play now vs the amount of time i spent in wow this games a joke, Its just way too easy to gear. They really need to remove the ability to craft top of the line gear,cut down the amount of available matts or both. I know this will cause people to be up in arms about how elitist I am but its really simple, you dont need 63's to farm dailies. Failing that, I think being able to RE the previous tier would be a fair comprimise as it allows people to get geared up for the content, not gear up on par with the content.
