When are we going to be able to take set bonuses and put them on other gear so we all don't look the same?

like the title says... if bioware doesnt remove stats from them... why not make them moddable to put different stats in them? What if I want to use the magenta colour crystal... I get it put it in my saber... then during my raid the same day I find a saber that has better stats and the crystal in that saber is better? I am going to chose the one with better stats because thats what we do in this game. So I spent time making my guy look different and I got a crystal I think looks cool... just to have my character look the same as everyone els with a black red crystal also I know there is bound to be more crystal colours coming out... so why not do this?

Im operative healer and the only other spec i would go is leathality if I changed my mind... but I looked and no sets have a bonus for that kind of spec
