  1. Had a big LOL in my first huttball game ever when i was stunned on the walkway, got pushed into the pit, just to be forcepulled up to the goalarea and then again pushed over the goalline all while being CC'd.
  2. I use this setup nowadays w. Force tech. : http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#601Mc0cZMZfRbRrrkMfz.1 mostly because of the high cost to Project, and frankly it's good to have one less proc to think about plus my survival is better.
  3. Willpower, Endurance, Presence, Strength. Aim and Cunning are of no use to us. Willpower is self explanatory as is Endurance, Presence gives your Companion better stats, and Strength gives you better meleedamage in concert with Willpower.
  4. I've been using this build (http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#601Mc0cZMZfRbRrrkMfz.1) a couple of days now and it feels pretty good both for leveling and PVP.
  5. Have to chime in and join the healer praise. It's just bliss to play together with a competent healer, seeing that i am incompetent in that area myself
  6. I've done this quest 2 times now and from what i see they've actually made it easier now. The first time around you had 1 champ (mostly sorc) and 2 elites (one assassin and one warrior) with the token weak mob thrown in one or two of the gangs... this last time around i only had 1 champ (mostly sorc) 1 elite (assassin or warrior) and a token weak mob to deal with most of the time... So i think they've "balanced" the encounter a bit since my first playthrough...
  7. It really does depend on the spec you choose. Kinetic = tank, close combat with 4 - 10 m range, great survivability Infiltration = DPS, close combat w 4 - 10 m range, bursty glass cannon Balance = DPS, range/close combat hyrid w 4 - 30 m range, Sustained DPS, glasscannon All have great utility and are fun to poke around with. Proc-based damage on all of them and lots of clickety-click on buttons
  8. Just to chip in... I'm a total n00b to PVP as i've played my first 5 WZ's ever this weekend with a PVE geared balance shadow (lvl 45) and sure i got bolster and all but i could hold my own against evenleveled sorc's and assassins and could help my team by pure utility most of the time with DoT's, CC's and the infamous nonresolving root (with damage to boot)... sure i got killed a couple of time and i wasn't the best DPS or the best protector (im not used to using Guard and Mass Mind Control yet) but i didn't feel unbalanced or weak in any sense of the word. I guess that properly used (not by me, yet at least) this Spec is one of the best at least for WZ's as is has lots and lots of utility.
  9. Well, for one i wonder when u took that screen (as you cut the intresting portion showing time of day out) as peak on "my" server i see at least 70 - 90 (100+ on weekends) ppl in fleet and at least between 35 - 45 on most planets i go to. So i have to say it's pretty much serverdependant (if your SS is taken at peak, which i highly doubt).
  10. Pergus Mining Facility @ 10 pm to 10:45 (at least, i logged off then) CET yesterday i had exteme fluctuations of latency where it bounced from 55ms to 1000ms to 55ms again and it kept going until i logged off... I was on Quesh and Hoth at the time with my lvl 40 alt.
  11. No, or at least i don't even think of using it as as 23/0/18 has one of the hardest hitting doublestrikes you can get. And you get two of those for less force then one shadowstrike...
  12. First, im guessing you will go with combat tec most of the time which makes Force Focus a dud, so i suggest changing those points to jedi resistance instead. Shadow Strike is IMO a dud too as it is too depending on the proc and positioning to be useful, reassing those points to shadows respite/bombardment/stasis or containment instead. Otherwise i think it's a valid build, not the best, but something to test and see if it fits your playstyle.
  13. Been playing around with two balance based builds, both of which i've tested for leveling and found both fun and pretty easy to go with, given that you like procs, double strike, project and mindcrush. This first one is for combat stance: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#601McbskZZf0fRrMkrd.1 And this second one is for force stance: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#601Mc0cZMZcMfRrMkrfz.1 Tell me what you think. (And yes, i think that shadowy veil is better then shadows respite)
  14. And what do you mean by epic? Artifactlevel color crystals for lvl 47 or rare crystals like the magenta one? or something completly different?
