  1. Agreed. Just wanted to ask in case it's not intended behavior.
  2. Wanted to see if others had observed this behavior. I was foolish enough to use two of the new Holo-sign: Falcon decorations out of a stack of four without breaking the stack. I didn't need the other two so I went to sell them on the GTN. "You cannot sell this thing because it is bound, foo!" was my surprise response. Is this a new thing or am I dumb for not having known this in advance?
  3. Didn't see one in my crate, none in the two a guild mate opened either. That and the server monitor were my big "Really Want" decorations. Didn't get either...but at least I can find the server monitors on the GTN. 1 credit gambling boxes please.
  4. I was hoping for one (at least) as well. If it never made the pack I also would like to see it for 1 credit.
  5. Hard Mode FPs will have a 100% drop from the bonus boss. Final bosses in hard modes will have a chance to drop. Story modes don't have a bonus boss, and the final boss will have a lower chance to drop than hard modes. Tactical FPs are the devil...they've got the lowest chance to drop (in my experience) of them all. Only bonus/final bosses in FPs will drop decorations. In Ops trash will have a chance to drop a decoration, while bosses will have a chance to drop different decorations. Which trash will drop what changes based on the Operation. The higher the difficulty the better your chance at seeing a drop.
  6. It's been quite a while since you left then...the giggle [when you get TA] was removed long, long ago. People, apparently people like you, complained enough that it was removed entirely. It wasn't until fairly recently that it returned. Now you only laugh when you first gain TA. If you always have a stack you will never laugh again. Personally I think adding or removing [insert effect here] because of RP concerns is a terrible idea. You may hate the laugh when role playing, while another person my love the laugh for their maniacal Agent. Can't hurt to ask again though. Or you could RP a different character that never laughs? Snipers don't laugh at all if you must play an Agent and can't stand the laughter.
  7. Were the Tattoine heroics dropped from this week's Conquest on purpose or was it an accident? We had planned on invading Tattoine...missing Heroics would change that decision. I'd love to know if we should wait for a hotfix or if they were pulled before we invade this week.
  8. I think a Bind to Legacy droid 'armor' set is a great idea. I wholeheartedly agree that armor bound to slot should not prevent its use in droid parts. Change the flags so that you can't just buy comms belts/bracers for top tier armoring but can still gear out a droid companion just as easily as a humanoid. I agree that barrels and hilts should be usable by companions with oddball (Tech) weapons. A simple "Main Hand" and "Off-hand" flag is sufficient to keep people from buying off-hand items to make main hand weapons.
  9. The characters of the movie version of GotG came out in 2008. Before this game's release, but long after the original Star Wars movie.
  10. NPC limit Companions being holograms when different classes visit No 'armor dummy' to display gear Did I mention the NPC limit? Housing is a huge let down for me. It has the potential to be so much better, and it's tantalizingly close. Sadly it's going to turn in to primarily a huge credit sink, with a side of "rerun old content ad nauseum for a chance at a decoration" to keep us busy until the expansion. I am disappoint. It's mostly because of the NPC limit though. I'd deal with everything else if my housing could feel alive. The limit will ensure that it's mostly static.
  11. For Lethality I'd take the PvE +Crit to Shiv 2pc bonus and the PvP +Damage Absorbed by Shield Probe 2pc. Lethality has a couple traits that improve your shield (-CD, +Absorb) so you might as well get a little more. Backstab isn't as vital to a Lethality Op as it is to Concealment.
  12. In general droid companions are always inferior when it comes to gear. End game gear that you get as a drop or with commendations has armoring/hilt/barrel that's locked to a specific slot. That means unless you want to craft every armoring or hilt for Scorpio (horribly expensive past L53 crafted items) your droid companions will be undergeared. There are recipes for purple droid pieces that aren't moddable, but they're under the normal stat budget for a 'regular' item of comparable level. TL;DR - Stick to Kalyio, or get Treek, if you want a tank. Treek is better if you can stand Ewoks, but she isn't free either.
  13. Goofy seal...I chuckled. You could always fly back to Fleet, head over to the training dummies, and click on The Bolsterizer. You'll see what things look like in a WZ without having to remember to take a screen shot inside a Warzone.
  14. Leve 50 stuff (140, 146, 150 Rating) has +Crit Chance on Backstab. The level 55 gear (162, 168, 180, 186 rating) has +Crit Chance on Shiv. Both set bonuses work.
  15. I've lost track of the number of times they've said they were looking at changes for Lethality, or changes were in the works, or that it was on their radar but we wouldn't be seeing any changes at this time. Early patch notes are early so who knows...but I'm sure not holding my breath.
  16. File this under the heading "We are improving Engineering spec for Snipers and this touches Operatives as well" and enjoy the freebie Snave.
  17. Mercs and Sorcs can still mez at 30m with Concussion Missile and Force Lift. What they lost was 30m range on their stun.
  18. I must admit that I was impressed. I didn't think you'd beat your first MLG Montage but I liked this one even more. The "Battling Seizure Robots" feel was fantastic. 9/10, would have had the last point if you had a Hypnotoad in there somewhere.
  19. 70, 60, 55, and 50 seconds for the timers...at least I think. It's been a while. Keep your strongest DPS free for the last two rounds. Two DPS that can each solo a core for the last two rounds makes this fight much easier. That leaves one DPS free to help with adds and another for channel duty. Having both tanks and healers free (as in not tied up channeling) for the shortest rounds is kinda nice. This fight takes some practice, even if you're overgeared. It takes a few tries to get people in the right pairs, for people to get used to picking up their color drone ASAP, to dealing efficiently with adds. There are a fair amount of moving parts to deal with so don't get discouraged after just one night.
  20. Personal Gripe: This is not "ninja looting". People use this term the same way as you generally see people use "troll"...whenever it's not something they like. Look, these aren't "ninja looters". That term means someone that stole the loot and left group. It's generally only possible as the group lead where you can set it to Master Looter and grab everything for yourself without giving anyone else a chance at the loot whatsoever. That's not what you described. You had a /roll at the loot...an actual ninja looter doesn't give anyone else a chance. I'm tired of seeing people complain about something that isn't actually happening. On Topic: It's a pug. You lost a /roll. Stuff happens. If you don't want it to continue happening make your own groups, set some ground rules before you start, and run Master Looter to distribute things according to your predetermined rules. I would also suggest that you never run an Operation via Group Finder if Flashpoints and Heroics have you this upset. People /need rolling on other class gear that's two tiers worse than what they're wearing is the general rule, not the rare exception.
  21. And this is why he won't use a webcam.
  22. Snave, If I were only on your server...I shall have to settle for watching the stream. Good luck, it sounds like fun. Suggestion: Get Betty to sing too. A rousing rendition of "Yumping Yack Flash" would be a crowd pleaser.
  23. If you're min/maxing then Energy is better when you have an armor debuff present and Elemental is better without. For solo leveling (since Ops don't get an armor debuff) that means Elemental is better, but in a group Energy will win out. That said...pick whichever you like. The difference between the two is extremely small (<1%) and you won't be using either for very long.
