  1. Getting back into the swing of things, while I do play a number of characters, they are mostly for the class story as my Jedi Guardian (DPS) is my main character I take through in the content beyond the class story. Hopefully get in touch with one of you later in the afternoon after work today. Have a good day all.
  2. JK Anime Intro Link: JK Series Opening Link: https://youtu.be/ltI393ptRn8 Episode 01: https://youtu.be/luVZ_hd_RIM Rather than the standard "lose weight" or something that has a 99% fail rate to start the new year, I figure I do something that I always wanted to do, mostly for myself to watch again versus rerolling my character. Recorded all the way up to Fallen Empire and going to be rolling out my Jedi Knight series with some minor editing to the story to smooth it out. It won't be a total immersive experience because lets face it, it is a game and some UI elements are just not possible to cut out entirely. But can make it as smooth as possible and make small changes to enhance the experience and be entertaining to watch. Still debating about keeping the intro as I heard some cool remixes of the SWTOR intro that I might want to do instead of this song as it is blocked in Japan. Not really a big deal but I did lived there from 2001 till 2015 and I loved my time there. Anyways, (stupid late) will probably roll out the first episode later today to get it out but any feedback be great and I'll post them here if anything. Cheers.
  3. Looking through the thread seems to be a few guilds still up and running but might as well post here as I am searching for an active guild to chat up with in discord and hang out while playing through the Jedi Knight once again. I was up to 65 on the other server but wanted to get a nice refresher on the story of JK. I am in my late 30s and starting a new (sort of) career in video production but after school, taking care of my family and all of life's demands, I enjoy a good session of SWTOR in any activity. I also stream my sessions as it is always fun finding new people to talk with and get to know, plus it helps me keep in practice. If you have a suggestion or anything please post here or hit me up in-game. Thanks all and have a good one. IGN: Ispada
  4. This looks like an interesting group to get to know, as a 36 year navy disabled veteran with a family. Be checking out the website and hopefully see you all in-game.
  5. Recently returned to SWTOR and rerolled my main (Jedi Guardian) on the server as I don't wanna pay a transfer plus do the whole light vs dark event. I am a 35 disabled veteran (Navy 14 years) now in college to become an art teacher and now substitute teaching as part of that career progression. I know your guild is 40+ but was curious if the age is a solid requirement? If so, no worries and see you folks online as I level.
  6. Recently returning to SWTOR and was curious if the UI was going to have any changes as far as the number of abilities we have to manage for each character. With 5 new levels and seems like more abilities per class coming, doesn't it seem like we are getting too many abilities to manage?
  7. Thanks for the input. Reason for the outfit (aside from a favorite of mine) is that he does travel already as a Padawan prior to becoming a Jedi, and most Jedi heroes (from film, TV, comics, etc) don't traditionally wear the Jedi outfit of supporting character. Example of that is Ahsoka, Orgus Din, and even Anakin don't wear traditional colors and robes. But I still wanted to keep it looking a little like Jedi so I wanted the silhouette shape of it to match somewhat to Orgus Din but different at the same time. Plus at the time Jedi are not too popular at the moment in the universe and much easier for the less savory people to talk to him if they think he is a traveler vice a Jedi. Sucks that the one attacking I can't do much about and mostly why I leave the UI up because of that but I see the point of at least turning off NPC and over floating names to keep the focus on Tobyto and his target. Plus I like my UI setup. Thanks again for watching.
  8. Enjoy my take on the Jedi Knight Dark Side Story on Tython. Working on my editing (film student) to take the entire story on Tython and present it in less than 15 minutes while keeping the story intact. Any feedback be great but if you enjoy the video then please subscribe. Thanks all. YouTube Link: https://youtu.be/tgCpBQJiyt0
  9. Been searching for a guild on this server for my Jedi Guardian tank to call home and would like to give you guys a try. I'll submit my application later tonight. Cheers.
  10. I am thinking of moving my character here for a RP guild but was curious how the scene is for ranked warzones? Queue times? I am not looking for instant pop but if it is a reasonable amount of time that I could finish dailies and what not, that I am fine with during the peak hours. Thanks all.
  11. Interested in joining and checked out your website. My main Republic character is a Guardian tank for both PvE and PvP. Have all the 192 gear (186 relics and main hand & a 198 earpiece) that can be obtained without doing operations so looking to get into Ops and Ranked PvP. Hope to hear from you all soon.
  12. That kinda sucks to here as I am considering moving over to this server and I mostly have played a Jedi Defender Guardian for both PvE and PvP. Guess I could roll a Sith Warrior as I always enjoy the Knight playstyle.
  13. Also have no problem rolling a new toon to get to know the guild and will also give me an excuse to play the other classes.
  14. I recently got back to the US, been in Japan since 2001, and looking for a casual guild and seems like you guys fit the bill. Got quite of few things going for me and just looking to hang out with some peeps in similar situations (family, college, veteran, etc) that I can relate to and have some fun in pve and pvp content in swtor. Thoughts? I have a Jedi Defender Guardian on Begeren Colony and not feeling the guild. He is in full 186 with a few 192 pieces and is in full pvp starter gear and racing to get as high as I can on rating before the season ends. Hopefully be in touch.
  15. With my careers and raising a family really getting into a MMO isn't what it use to be for me. I am enjoying the story content at my pace but like the fact when I do have time I can hit up pvp, flashpoints, etc. I know this server use to be the unofficial oceanic server before the release of actual oceanic servers. Living in Japan however my latency is higher on the oceanic servers and playing on a US server is still better connection wise. So while it seems (with F2P launch) there are a good amount of people on during peak hours of GMT +9 was curious of player base and guilds in my peak hours. Thanks all and see you ingame.
  16. That is something you would say to an investor and not a gamer. They make money if the game grows and gamers only play the game and receive no physical income from it. Blizzard has done a great job in helping the mmo market become what it is and curious why you hate them. You say support something with potential but can't be WoW towards the end of your post. Why is that?
  17. Not to mention the casual player base is what you want to target in today's MMO market. The Hardcore or those that think they are makes up a very small percentage of the overall community in any MMO. SWTOR seems to have tried to compete directly with the setup games like WoW, EQ, etc have been based on. However without the tools that have been developed for this (LFR, dungeon finder, UI addons, etc) they come up short on what they can offer. I was surprised when reaching end-game it turns into your typical mmo game of gear grinding in hardmodes and/or operations or warzones. On the end-game front they cannot compare to the other MMOs of this style out there. I had really high hope for SWTOR prior to launch, hell even bought the CE, but like someone mentioned in an earlier post usually nowadays a new MMO game has about 3 months average to show what they got and try and hold the player base. In today's economy it doesn't cut it anymore to stick with a game that is trying to improve itself in the coming months and expect its customers to pay a monthly fee. Hence why the rise of F2P is popular with gaming companies since they can take the time to continue to make their game better without asking for a monthly fee as a standard.
  18. Revan would win this one since it was his holocron that Darth Bane used to start the Rule of two for the Sith that Vadar went by. Revan's understanding of both light and dark of the force is beyond Vadar.
