  1. This sounds like a harassment issue since the other person was following him around and repeatedly doing it. The item(?) itself is fine. Though I do find the idea of an anti-dance serum hilarious. Let's call it the Drax Treatment. It should also disable all the dance emotes in-game within the same time frame.
  2. I finally got this to work by using the character that initially bought the stronghold to set the new spawn point. Now everyone is appearing there. It doesn't seem to work per individual character.
  3. Try going to the NVIDIA Control Panel and under Display go to Adjust desktop size and position. Under Scaling tab on No. 2 pick either Aspect ratio or No scaling (not Full-screen in the middle), Apply and see if anything changes in SWTOR. But also check if you are still using the Fullscreen setting in-game and not Fullscreen Window or Windowed.
  4. That's good to know. I too have been thinking of taking a break until the release of Onslaught. Maybe I'm just not a long term MMO player though I've already played for several months this year. I've recently bought some collectible lightsabers and ever since I haven't had the same motivation to log in and play. So, that's been filling my Star Wars needs. Maybe I just don't like the sound/look of my main character's lightsaber. The one I'm actually swinging around seems more enticing. Now for what I'd like implemented (rather than what is stated in the OP) is a random mission generator. Let's say they put in a terminal on a planet. You go to this terminal, maybe pick a few options and voila the game creates an objective (perhaps in an instance) with most likely a bunch of enemies to fight and a boss type at the end. Maybe you can even pick the enemies in the mission. It could be droids, troopers, gangsters, Force-users, Mandalorians, creatures - you name it. There could also be different types of missions, maybe they're not all just murder simulators. Infinite Star Wars content for the locusts.
  5. Mon dieu! Zut alors! We must find out if the French and German VA of Kira also got pregnant or have otherwise busy careers! It's a global conspiracy to deprive us of this beloved companion, I tells ya. Exprimer le choc! Merde! That's probably why Scourge hasn't returned; Charles Boyd haven't figured out how to do his romance yet. Yep, what can you do with the emotionally-unavailable red daddy anyway? Probably way too much for just one scene.
  6. The solution is actually pretty clear. There was once a glorious time in SWTOR history when they turned on SUPERMAXIMUM XP and never turned it off. (until they did ) Every single mission became optional! I mean, you could reach max level just from playing the class story. So, just turn on Double XP forever and the White Acute doohickey will always be available. Problem solved. You are welcome, my friend. <3
  7. I didn't start hating skytroopers until they started popping out of nowhere. If they changed it so that all the skytroopers you had to fight per chapter was already spawned from the beginning, I would definitely like these chapters more. Instead, every time they popped up, I just rolled my eyes and groaned. It just looked like they were trying really hard to pad these chapters. It's why I skip KotFE and KotET, all the surprise enemies just grates at me. Also, waaaaaaaaaay too many cutscenes that didn't involve my character. If my character isn't there spouting zingers, I'm really not interested.
  8. Do not trust to hope; it has forsaken these lands. I would be pleasantly surprised if further optimizations would ever to occur. But as of now I believe that what you see with SWTOR is what you're going to get for a very long time. Heck, it's possible they would break more things than fix in the future. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  9. Uh, I think you're confused or don't know what aesthetics mean? You're actually supporting the other guy's point. If aesthetics are not important then you would play WoW since the reason you said you wouldn't play it is because you think it looks stupid. Maybe you think WoW is the only MMO that has aesthetics? Or you think having aesthetics mean it has cartoonish graphics?
  10. Or fire. I noticed the other day that a lot of the specs I play tend to set their targets on fire. Fire don't get weaker just because you ran away from it. It tends to die on its own over time after consuming what it was burning. All other discussion aside, I believe the OP just wants a nerf to DoT classes? I suppose what they could change is front-load the damage that DoTs do so that it's still not doing as much damage if the caster is no longer there to refresh said DoT. Perhaps have 50% of the total damage be done in the first 3 seconds, 30% on the next 3 seconds and 20% on the rest of the DoT timer. Though that probably makes it closer to a Burst with a lingering DoT rather than an actual DoT spec and the devs would probably balance accordingly.
  11. I've always thought this was pretty silly. Especially at times when we are flying in literal airplanes that never touch the ground and we still take fall damage.
  12. Bioware will definitely not keep this going once their license is done. Though it's possible there will still be some way to play it afterwards like other MMOs that were shut down in the past. Like SWG.
  13. They should just delete or rework the Vanguard class. The concept of this Advanced Class is pretty dumb. Here's a melee class but his weapon is a long range rifle. Why not a shotgun? Or even a Vibroblade or something more melee appropriate. It's probably the most boring looking class to play as too. Is the concept supposed to be a suicide bomber? It's kind of embarrassing to be playing a game where this class exists.
  14. After doing Heroics today, lag on planets seems to be hit or miss. Some you get normal SWTOR with random hiccups while on others it's turn-based SWTOR. Belsavis for instance only had 15-20 people but the ability delay was worse than Balmorra which had 50+. Perhaps it was sharing it's server allocation with another planet. The PVP instance of the planet, when available, is often pretty smooth though. Usually there's only one other person in there.
  15. Like travelling between planets and strongholds? Haven't noticed it being an issue any longer. Just a general laginess to combat and it's worse on some planets than others.
  16. The animation for running with a drawn dualsaber is glitching out. The legs and feet look wobbly. It is happening with both the normal run and while sprinting. The glitch is much more pronounced with sprint turned off though, it looks like the animation is cutting off and starting over mid-step. Experiencing this with Female Body Type 1. I've tested the other lightsaber wielding characters (all same gender and body type) and only the dualsaber seems affected. I noticed this started happening after patch 5.10.3.
  17. It's not exactly 100%, Coruscant for example is very laggy right now. Though you can actually log in and do stuff now.
  18. If you are looking for Dantooine it is a separate thing from Hearts and Minds. There is a clickable floating droid in the fleet. It plays a little cutscene and gives you the Weekly for the new planet.
  19. Was in queue after logging into the game then was not anymore. Message pops up saying character is unavailable because of server maintenance. Star Forge. Was able to log in earlier when the server first came back. Server was very laggy though. A bunch of things took a long time to happen like opening the mailbox and travelling between planets.
  20. Thanks for the clarification. Seems like a weird restriction.
  21. What's the deal with the Veteran Star Fortress Flashpoint? Group members can't enter. Does everyone need the mission to get in?
  22. Look, friend. I don't know if you've ever opened a Hypercrate or not but I would highly suggest you do so. It's very therapeutic. If you are not inclined to spend the money, Swtorista has a few videos up on Youtube. In the end, aren't the content we make ourselves better than one given to us?
  23. That's just PR Gobbledygook. If Bioware wanted to offer this "content" again they would have already. Like they can't make up their minds? It's as simple a question as "do we want to make more money off this or not?" In the end though, with the same amount of money you could get 2 Hypercrates. Two! I bet that has more content than this one chapter.
  24. Do forgive my memory as it seems to be a bit hazy. Though I don't know if this makes it better or worse. I think it's worse. Yeah, it's definitely worse. 6+ months of subscription time for one mission? William H. Macy. And you don't even play your own character? Wow. Given this personal revelation, I still believe (even more so now) that simply removing Shroud of Memory from the chapter list is the best solution. Soon, people won't even remember this mission even exists.
  25. Yes, please. All my level 70s are varying forms of Jedi so all I'm seeing these days is the Defender. They should make it available after the "Knights of" storyline since KotFE was probably the last time I ever saw personal ships figure into the story. I wouldn't mind smaller ships as well, maybe just enough space for the target dummies, vendor, GTN, cargo holds, etc. While I guess they wouldn't have incentive to make this possible unless it was being sold in the Cartel Market, they should still offer a few for in-game credits.
