  1. Yeah. Right after you un-sub it all stops being important all of a sudden. Funny how that works.
  2. You really think people bailed from TOR becasue it didnt get 11 millions subs in month one? I dont give a flying **** how many people play this game, it just isnt fun. Far too many problems, far too few fixes and a cosntant drain on my wallet. No thanks.
  3. Farming the Belsavis Rakata energy cubes was orders of magnitude worse than any of the jumping puzzles.
  4. All content developed while the game requieres a subscription fee should be automatically made available to the subscribers. Dosent matter if you dont ''need'' whatever they develop, you payed for it already. Micro transactions work in games like League of Legends becasue they gave us the entire game for free, and there is no way to buy a competative advantage. MT's should NEVER be paired with subscription based games, even for cosmetic options.
  5. By ''Dynamic'' you mean entierly predictable, automated effect that requieres no input beyond a single mouse click?
  6. Becasue there isnt any game to enjoy. You can roll over both the Nightmare Ops in under 3 hours, the dailys couldnt be less imaginative if they tried, the pvp is riddled with problems from client / server sync issues to inexplicable frame rate drops, the space combat minigame stopped being fun in beta, crafting has the bare minimum of player interaction (i.e. click and wait), alt rolling forces you to repeat too much of the same content..... I just cant sit down and play a game with so many issues that still has the balls to ask for a subscription fee. Even if patch 1.2 is the messiah the devs promised, there is no sense in subscribing now for a release date that could be over 2 months away.
  7. Well the Day 1 DLC and Origin requierment made me hate EA a little more than I already did, so maybe it influenced my desicion to un-sub. Other than that, no.
  8. Then one must wonder why they decided to have a gear based progressions system, an Ops focused end game and multiple difficulty settings. You've got a few peolpe saying it aint so, and all the evidence disagreeing with them. Granted the Ops execution was poor accross the board, but the intent was pretty clear.
  9. So which is worse..... My observation that guild activity is down (becasue I know people have left), general activity is way down (and I know a good chunk of people on my server have quit), pvp activity is down (and again I know a good chunk of players that quit), and then assuming that overall subscriber numbers are down (becasue they are)? Or your assumption, that all these people that have mysteriously vanished from every server are just ''taking it easy''? Reality and common sense need a long, hard talk with you.
  10. The utter stupidity of paying monthly for a game you dont play would like a word with you.
  11. The vast and noticable drop off in general, guild and pvp activity accross all servers would like a word with you.
  12. The falling subscriber numbers of WoW and TOR would like a word with you.
  13. People were having a blast with MMOs long before any of the listed items became ''standard'' (i.e. WoW did it, so we must also) features. Dont get me wrong, I think BioWare have failed to deliver almost accross the board with TOR, especially at end game, but your listed ''missing'' features are far from being the worst offence. Start with end game difficulty, lack of content and the engine problems, then come back and complain about the UI.
  14. Are my posts really crippling other peoples enjoyment of the game? Maybe, if they are, its becasue they have some truth in them that far too many people seem unwilling to face. Now i've got as much right to be here as you do. You wont convince me to stop posting becasue i'd like this game to get to a state where I can start enjoying it. Its a freaking Star Wars MMO made by one of the best PC RPG developers of the last 2 decades. I should love this game, but I dont, and there are far too many people willing to accept the bad changes that are just a band aid to fix falling subscriber numbers in the short term.
  15. That it is new does not make it good. I've said it before and i'll say it again, this game has so much broken content already that adding a weak sauce alt rolling program will not help them out of the cesspit they dug by launching in December. I neither want, nor do not want the Legacy patch, what I want is for them to un-**** the rest of the game first. If this really is the best they have for patch 1.2 then the game really is boned.
