  1. The 10% bonus Exp and Reputation depends on the number of unique accounts you have in guild. If it will only be you and your wife in guild you won't get to 10%. I can't remember the exact number of accounts it requires to get the 10% bonuses.
  2. Here is how we deal with tank swaps and adds. We run 2 guardians so may not be optimal for all group comps. But truly can be done with any tank comp. Just may not have the option of saber reflect. 1. Initial pull the "OT" with grab the adds, aoe tuant, saber reflect. 2. "MT" picks up boss when he spawns. 3. When first set of adds spawn the "MT" will aoe taunt and saber reflect them, after the aoe taunt has gone out, the "OT" taunts the boss. Boss is always tanked at one of the corner pilars near the add group to make it quicker for melee to clear concussion mine. 4. Once the adds are down and as long as the "OT" has gotten a stack or 2 of the debuff the "MT" will take the boss back. This just repeats until final laser and burn phase. The "MT" will always have his aoe taunt and saber reflect up for each set of adds. And should prevent from getting more than 3-4 stacks at most on either tank. This strat takes a bit of coordination and communication from your tanks. Either watch for the aoe taunt animation or wait for "MT" to call he has aoe taunted before the "OT" taunts the boss. If you taunt to early don't panic and just make sure the "MT" uses a dcd to survive until "OT" can taunt the boss again.

  11. 1. I am one of the healers for our progression team. I usually do around 300k in damage and 1.3-1.6mil in heals. If I remember correctly the first time we kill him I did 300k and our other healer was around 200k damage. 2. I don't know exactly how may manifestations you can before you can't be enrage timer. But the trick is to burn him through these "off" phases as fast as you can so you can get dps back on Styrak. The quicker you get through those phase the more uptime you have on styrak. 3. From the numbers you posted, your dps is to low. Mainly the 4th dps maurader/sniper. Need to take a look at his spec and rotation on both classes, cause he is no where near the numbers he should be putting up as those classes. I am not trying to be mean or anything, but as the numbers show, when he was on marauder he only did a third of the damage as the sniper and barely over half of the other sniper when he switched. In my opinion if he was putting up the numbers he should be, you should have been able to kill Styrak. Styrak is mainly a big dps check after you have mastered the mechanics of the fight. While you are working on him I would suggest for the waves of add to kill them then wipe the first time so you only have the 1 wave instead of 4. This will give you a little more time on enrage. We have killed him with out doing this, but when we was learning the fight we cleared the waves out first. I am not positive, but pretty sure all the phase changes are based on a timer, not the health of Styrak. As I said earlier you want to get through all the phase changes as quickly as you can. The only time that you can put a set number of phases you don't want to go past is the first time you kill the Kell Dragon. You want to kill the dragon before he can do a 3rd spines. I am not sure when your snipers are using their orbital strikes, But our group usually saves them for chained manifestations. This is when I drop my flyby and our slinger drops his, I usually ignore healing during this phase and let the other healer top people off. Hope some of this helps.
  12. If you are doing the ops in a full guild run, consider allocating the arkanian/uw set pieces to those in key positions needing the 4 pieces bonus. The 4 piece bonus for some is pretty lack luster. While for some classes(ie. sentinel/guardian) the 4 piece bonus is a pretty good boost in dps, tank durability.
  13. I am pretty sure you need to be 50 to pick up the quest seeing as it requires you to do a lvl 50 hm fp for one of the pieces
  14. Yes, yellow is usually when our 2nd healer starts helping out to heal. However our last time in there, we didn't kill him cause was teaching someone new to the fight, but my 2nd healer did very little healing. I didn't know this till after the fight when looked at the parse. We wiped in 2nd phase cause someone didn't get in color circle, was close to half way through phase and I wasn't having to much trouble with only light heals from the 2nd healer. I was close 900k healing while other healer was around 150k but he had also put out close to 400k damage at full heal spec. That's why I mentioned about may be trying my 2nd healer as a hybrid to put out more dps but still be able to throw decent heals to help me out. I made sure to mention twice in my post that in order to use our strat exactly you need a Very strong main healer. I have not tried it this way with out me being the main healer as a scoundrel...a lot easier for scoundrels to be able to throw hots on dps to keep them up while still being able to focus the majority of our heals to the tanks that need it most. I am not sure if other classes can do it with out significantly more help from the 2nd healer. When I was the one that was mainly dpsing during blue/orange/purple...I would drop back to help heal cause usually the other healer gets over whelmed a bit while champs are up. This big key to mainly solo healing it is the timing of your heals with the healing debuff on tanks. Coordinate with the tank if they get a double debuff that they may need to use a cool down until you can get a full heal on them. I wouldn't advise trying to solo heal unless your healer is decently geared as well. I am far from bis. I have full 69's with few mods/enhancement still to min/max and Verpine implants, bracers, offhand. I am planning to drop my crit/surge a bit to get some more alacrity to be able to keep 2 stacks of my hots on all 8 during phase 2 and have a little more time to throw a couple casts on the tanks before I have to renew my hots. Edit: Something else I thought I should mention. If you do try to use our strat and mainly solo heal, your main healer should be on blue in order to get their color sphere right away so don't have to worry about it during the fight. 2nd Edit: Here is a video of the way we used to do it pre 2.0 with me mainly dpsing during cores had a sage main healing. We did loose a tank part way though cause I didn't drop back to help heal soon enough.
  15. We set ours up a little different. With the way I set our group up, we don't purposely fail any phase. Channel/Middle mdps/heal tank/rdps mdps/heal tank/rdps With this set up, healing is a bit rougher on the 1 tank that will have 2 champs of him for a short time. The ranged in the middle will always focus the champs first. How ever with a good healer it still can be mainly solo healed if you time your heals when the healing debuff on the tank is about to go off to get the most out of your heal. The healing debuff does stack so if both are on it's ~80% reduced healing on the tank. This really the only thing that make orange and yellow difficult. For the first 3 color phases, put your strongest healer on full time heal duty. I used to have my 2nd healer do this but I am a scoundrel healer and recently changed to me being the full time healer and things go a lot smoother now. The other healer can switch to mainly helping dps the adds. Blue- Pretty straight forward, but do not start the channeling until all adds are down, including the grey/strong that spawn. The timer for blue does not start until you begin the channel. This is the only color you use this start on. Orange- 3 dps not in middle kill the first core, as they transition to 2nd core, 1 mdps breaks off and helps finish the champ adds, while other 2 dps kill the 2nd core. Purple- Pretty straight forward as well. 3 dps kill cores. Yellow- This is where the healer that was mainly dpsing the adds will drop back and go into healing mode. I usually will dps the 1st champ a bit, till the 2nd one is about to spawn and then drop back to heal. All dps not in middle uses all cd's and insperation to kill both of the cores. Note: With this strat a lot of pressure is put onto your tanks, your tanks will need to coordinate their taunts, to take any adds that are on the tanks that has to go and channel. If a tank uses a taunt at the wrong time most likely the adds will go kill a healer or hit the person channeling causing you to fail the color most likely. Also like I said earlier, using this strat you have to have a very strong healer that can solo heal up to yellow phase. Also the 2nd healer is still full heal spec. I am thinking about having 2nd healer go hybrid heals/dps to maybe not have the 1 dps peal for orange phase, will have to see how it goes next week after lockouts. Another note about the color spheres and when to kill them...For blue we kill them right away. After that the person channeling will get on the panel right away and find/target their sphere and kill it immediately after the color phase. The ranged dps in the middle focus on killing the champs and when his color sphere is close to the adds they just aoe and kill their sphere...this allows for maximum dps on adds/cores at all times. For yellow this is the same, Tank that is channeling will taunt operator as soon as it spawns then go and kill his color sphere while add are being finished off. In 2nd phase, the 2 adds that spawn will get aoe taunted, other tank single taunts the boss back. Adds are just tanked until shield goes up, get in your color circles then drop the adds while waiting for shield to come back down. Then have your tanks swap roles so the adds can be aoe taunted next time they spawn.

  17. Great guide I would like to get some others opinions on how I've set my stats up. I do not consider myself an expert by any means but feel I am a very strong healer and have a pretty good grasp on the class. With the way scondrel healing and energy regen/management is set up, and that the vast majority of our heals are instant or already have a lower base cast time than sage/manos, alacrity isn't at important to us. I'm not saying that it is not useful, just that we don't need to stack as much as they do. When I first started gearing up at 55 I was stacking alacrity a bit, but noticed how much surge was lacking. So I swaped out some enhancements back to the power/surge until my surge was back up at 75.16%(584 rating). This put my alacrity at 4.06%(144 rating). This only reduced my regen rate by .1 which is a non factor with how easy we can get out energy back. My underworld medicine cast time is 1.92s and Kalto pack at 1.44s. While I did notice a bit of a difference in my global cool down it wasn't anything that affected my healing. I have zero issues with energy management, very rarely ever need to use my cool head. And hardly ever use pugnacity anymore unless I am in dire need of upper hand, but the way I manage them I usually never get caught with out 1 or 2 up especially with everything procing them now. The burst healing imo is just crazy with my stats how they are now. I do still need to replace a few A mods which will bump my power a bit more and I am still using the old war hero relics with the static power but will be replacing 1 with the power proc, but the 113 power only reduces bonus healing by ~20. I'm still undecided on 2nd relic cause I suck at managing a clicky relic. Stats(only with class buffs no stim) Hps - 32154 Cunning - 3047 Bonus healing 948 Crit - 26.76(307 rating) Surge - 75.16%(584 rating) Alacrity - 4.06%(144 rating) All gear is mainly 69s, with Verpine implants and 72 bracers. As I replace the A mods health and cunning will come down a little, but crit and power will go up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  18. That I am not sure about, I would venture a guess that you loose the excess but they might go into your escrow.
  19. The rest of the credits over the 350k will into an "escrow" that can not be used until you go back sub as far as I know. I am pretty sure but not positive that this is character based. Meaning spread your credits out among your alts. Or if you have a friend playing that is sub and you know that you can trust 100% then have him hold the excess for you.
  20. It's not that we're missing the point. Many have told you what is needed to raid at high levels in SWTOR. But you are refusing to listen. It's not just knowing the fights, you need to perfect your rotation, know your class/spec inside and out to know when certain things come off cool down, with out having to stare at your bars. Just as an example. On my gunslinger, I do not ever have to look at debuff/buff on the boss because I know exactly when they expire based on how many times I've used certain abilities. Lets say after I have used a certain ability twice I know that my dots need to be refreshed...etc. I personally have spent countless hours on the training dummy to reach the point to do this as with anyone that raids on high level has done. We've taken the time to learn the game instead of relying on mods as a crutch to tell me when to do something. As you said that you guess most have not raided at high level, I would wager a guess that a vast majority of the "high level" raiders from wow would be completely lost with out their mods to do most of the work for them. And this imo was proven with having to cancel so many raids in wow after a patch because of mods not being updated yet. As for debuffs that need to be cleansed, having 2 healers myself I can feel your pain there, but the responsibility doesn't fall entirely all on the healer to see the debuffs, the person that has it needs to paying attention enough to call out that they need a cleanse. On the procs issues, it's not that hard to know which abilities you use that have a proc and right after using them you take the half a second it takes to glance at your bar and see the little icon the appears when you have proc'd sometime. This also falls under knowing your class inside and out. Once you know your class like that you won't need to look at your bars cause you know the sounds/animation at that point. I am not meaning this to be a troll post or to put you down as a raider. It's that mods are not needed because BW is not designing the fights around mods. All it takes is a little effort on your end to learn the game/class mechanics. That is what separates a casual from high end raider.
  21. 1. To changed instances open your map, in the bottom right there will be a minimapt view with a drop down box showing the instance you are in, click there and select a difference instance. 2. If you do not release someone can combat res, if they have already used it you can be res'd at the end of the fight. If you do release you can try to get back there in time before the rest of the group kills it. If you do not get back in time you will not be in range of the kill and not be able to receive any loot.
  22. The only things you can r/e for augment kit components are player crafted items. Which type of component will depend on the level of the item. I can't remember the other tiers but the MK-6 components come for level 47 & 49 items.
  23. Armormech/Armstech/Synthweaving all make the augment kits as well as the augments. Each crew skill has a different set of augments they can make.
