  1. I've gotten 5 once as a healer sorcerer, and 5 another time as a Juggernaut Smash spec. Only reason I got so many on my Juggernaut was I was directing everyone in a Civil War.
  2. I'm sure there will be dozens disagreeing with you, as apparently a lot of people think "realm versus realm" and "open world PVP" (in large numbers) is somehow fun. I hope to see something like this, though. Large battles can be entertaining but require less coordination and more problems with different people's PC performances. I wouldn't mind have to split forces to overcome the opposition. Requires more coordination and team work, and way more skill and thought.
  3. You aren't supposed to have 100 people clumped together -- or even 8 for that matter -- and thus if it happens the team deserves to be punished. There are absolutely no logical reasons why anyone should want to have a greater portion of their team in an area to be mowed down with AOE.
  4. I'm Empire, a Sith Lord, and while I don't role play about it, it fits my demeanor. Yes, I trash talk, and no I'm not going to stop. If it bothers you, feel free to put me on ignore. Only thing funnier is the people who put you on ignore and then continue to still discuss you.

  7. Personally, I feel players are the problem. I don't even know why they give us the ability to control our own character. I feel this game would be a much better game if every character was an NPC and we could just watch the programming do the work.
  8. Huttball is the most fun. Voidstar is boring. Civil War is decent.
  9. All I see is a bunch of crying over nothing. Boo hoo, I don't queue with other good players and lose all the time so therefore I must come to the forums and make awful threads about how unfair the game is and how I want others to suffer my awful fate. Hey, wake up. If you're losing now, you're going to lose then. You probably just don't cut it as a PVPer.
  10. You are wrong. It removes all DoT effects on use, then only protects you versus certain attacks, but doesn't prevent DoTs from being placed if the attacks aren't covered in the description. It's a stupid idea. Stealth needs a counter, just like ranged has a few counters (LoS and ranging).

  14. This would only be a problem if entry level gear stayed the same, and you had to work your way through each set. But you don't, so inflating the stats isn't as big of a deal as you make it. Being able to purchase gear when you hit level 50 that is somewhat competitive to other geared 50s is going to stop decent players from having to gear alts, but the whiners will still whine.
  15. They're not the same but they can hurt a lot when used with slowing affects, resulting in kiting. This mostly affects just operatives/scoundrels but it still hurts other melee classes if they get caught at inopportune times. I don't know how to fix this issue directly, but if someone has full resolve, being able to root them in place doesn't seem just. I was playing my sorcerer and respecced into Madness and I have to laugh at the 31 talent root; short cooldown, highly effective, and way too abusive towards melee classes.

  18. You don't have to be the one scoring to win Huttball. I fail to see everyone's argument that it's imbalanced because not all classes can carry the ball as swiftly. All classes have utility in Huttball, but just because it's not scoring with the ball doesn't mean it's not balanced.
  19. You lose because "premades" mostly play objectives and your team doesn't. Take away their ability to group together does what? Makes them have to play with you? It doesn't even matter. Good players will win games, and as I've said before: if you still continue to lose, your next argument is going to be gear, which is being solved in 1.2 anyway.
