  1. I picked body type 3. I think it just looks best for a trooper. Concerning the datacrons; yes there are some issues with getting some datacrons. There are some ways around it, but this can't be working as intended. Bioware should fix this, it's annoying and unfair. And no, I don't regret my body type
  2. I know I could have been a little bit more diplomatic, but I think the way I put it, the message is clearer. In a place like this, strong words are needed
  3. "Help Bioware, I cry so much about everything, I'm almost out of tears..." Please fix my tear glands!! Man, what is the problem with all this complaining? Everyone is crying all the time... Some people just seem to have a great talent to always find new things to cry about. Nothing is perfect... This game is always evolving, there will never be perfect balance, there will always be issues. Accepting that is already a great achievement for some people... Every class is good at certain things, and bad at others. Can't be good at everything, can't beat any other class with the same ease. Accept that too, and you're again a step closer to actually enjoying this game. At some point, class x might seem "better" (as far as it's possible to really define that), and at another point in time, another class will seem to be better, and this never ends... It frustrates me that some people just look for the "best" class (which doesn't exist btw...). They start leveling the class they heard is "best". At some point, things change with patches, then they start crying all over the forum. If they don't get what they want, they roll the "new best class" and start this process all over. I shall call it the "Cry-baby-process". What frustrates me too: some people play a certain class and don't have any problems beating other classes, except one class. Then the cry-baby hits the forum and start saying that the one class they can't beat is overpowered. Then other cry-babies follow their cry-baby leader... The angry cry-baby-mass grows... which is never a good thing... This is the "cry-baby-snowball-effect" What I want to say is: stop wasting energy on crying and start enjoying the game! And if something changes, just adapt, find new ways to beat your enemy. Swtor is a great game, don't **** it up...
  4. Worst idea ever... good thing Bioware didn't hire you... Sorry for not being "constructive".
  5. I would take energy blast over gut. The damage of energy blast has been lowered, but it doesn't respect the global cooldown. So being able to use it within the same gcd of another ability is pretty good.
  6. Tested it again. There are indeed 4 ticks and the first one is instant. Damage seems ok to me, increases with extra stacks and the tooltip damage seems to update with every stack. Not sure about the slow/interrupt...
  7. Posted this in another thread too, but this thread seems more appropriate: Pulse cannon does less damage now. Pre-patch 1.2 my ticks critted for about 1800 with 5 stacks, now it only crits for 1400 with 5 stacks. I am lvl 50, and tested this before and after patch 1.2 on corelia on the exact same mobs (imperial troops). The gear (mix of centurion and champion gear) I used before and after is also identical. Other elemental attacks damage like ion pulse remain +/- the same. Anyone has an explanation for this? Did they perhaps give those imperial mobs some aoe damage reduction?? Or is pulse cannon just weaker now and the devs "forgot" to mention it?

  9. 1. If you don't answer 1 you just happen to be on one of the "healthy" servers and don't care about the rest... just my opinion. Or maybe you just don't have anything else to do than play SWTOR and have the luxury to lvl a new char on another server in a few days... Don't forget to think about people who aren't in your situation... and don't forget that not everyone just wants to reroll on another server, especially people who don't play 24 hours a day... it takes some people several months to get to 50. I, for one, don't want to start all over. My server has at the moment 2 people on the republic fleet and 30 people in total on the server... just imagine all the fun there :/ The server is Senator Constipex btw... Always welcome to pay me a visit...
  10. I can beat that (I wish I couldn't...)! 2 people on republic fleet now! 30 players in total on the server... I'm on Senator Constipex. How long do we have to wait for a solution? Oh yes, I get it... There are not enough players on my server for Bioware to care or better: to make it financially interesting to care. I bet if 1.000.000 players would have this problem, it would be solved in a week or less. Sorry for being so "positive", but it's getting really frustrating!! My server looks like it's been struck by some lethal virus and everyone is dead, except me... i'm having sooooo much fun...
  11. I would like to see this too. The animation as it is now, is just weak, and in heavy battles even barely noticable. So any video showing the new animation would be nice
  12. It has been said a zillion times by now, but this population problem urgently needs to be fixed. I also noticed that some people are complaining about their server having about 50-70 players on the fleet on peak moments... well those people don't realize it's not THAT bad on their server... just come and visit me on the fleet on the Senator Contispex server and you'll get a whole new definition of "low population". You won't have trouble finding me there, since most of the time it's just me and 3-4 others there... and about 10 players during prime-time (if you're lucky). Most planets don't have more than 5 players on them (prime-time), some even less. I guess I don't need to tell you how "fun" warzones are? Well they mostly just don't exist, and if they start, they end within 120 secs because there aren't enough players. So please do something about this or give us at least an idea when this will be solved, so I can leave and return to this game when it's fixed. It's very sad because i really love this game, and my server used to be very fun and had a large population, even queues at times. And please, I really don't need answers like "just reroll on another server"... That just isn't a solution, that's literally running away...
  13. Probably the 10000000th thread like this, but they should really merge some of the low population servers! And fast!! Please... I love this game! But... My main character is on the Senator Contispex server. I have started some alts on other servers because of the very low population on my server. But every time I return to my main char, because I just love it too much, and don't want to start all over on another server (don't have the time for it either). Grouping on my server is impossible, warzones just don't exist anymore. The max population i've seen last days was like 10 people on the republic fleet... The server is just DEAD. So PLEASE, merge this server with several others (not just one other). The rep fleet on my alts server has about 250 players population, so it's very easy to find groups or warzones. My server has like 5-10 players average on the fleet, so a merge with SEVERAL servers is needed. I don't want alts, I want my lvl 50 character on the Senator Contispex server and ENJOY it, like I used to do... I pay for this game, I spend time leveling... So again, PLEASE do something about it!!!! And fast please, It's really frustrating! Don't turn your fans into haters... And let me say this again: I really love this game.
  14. First, a general question: Does the armor penetration from High Velocity Gas Cylinder apply to both ranged and tech attacks? Or only ranged? So do attacks like explosive dart (or even thermal detonator) benefit from this cylinder? Second, would it be any good to use a full pyro build (with minor changes), but use High velocity gas cylinder instead? This way you would maximise your rail shot and power shot damage, and create some semi-mobile build that's a bit more bursty than when you use combustible gas cylinder. So you would be throwing your detonator, firing incendiary missile and rail shot and this all while being mobile, and then firing/spamming powershot (with the extra armor penetration) and firing rail shot when cd is reset. Thanks for the advice.
