ya they healed each other, tried keeping one stunned with the 20min CC and setting mako to use her channeled stun on the other guy, but my low dps with all the tanking gear wasn't enough to get him down before he managed to get out and heal again :/

I'm sorry sir but you don't make any sense. you should read a post twice before you pass judgment. A challenge is something you can manage with some skills and timing, this fight was going around in circles. I died because i chose to by deactivating my companion, the fight had at that point gone on for 20min, even while i made the post. To clarify, what im saying is that your companion shouldn't be the factor that decides if you can manage a "normal fight", if it's a quest boss fight, then ya, i don't mind having to chose the right companion for the job, but just trash mobs... not ok.

i wouldn't have complained if i had the option to switch companion mid fight, but since that's not possible it's just an annoying bump in the road that doesn't add anything to the game in terms of challenge or fun

bet there's a million of these threads all ready, but I'll just go ahead and share my story (or one of a hundred). So, I'm a bountyhunter powertech - shieldtech speced, in other words a tank, i run around with mako, my healing companion, because i don't really fancy having to self heal after each and every fight. I don't have any real CC nor do i have anything that does a great amount of dmg for any burst solution. Today, well right now in fact, the fights still going on in the background as a write this and have for probably 15min now. I'm in an instanced area doing a quest, mine you, no heroic, 2 man or anything, just a normal quest. So i come up against 2 strong mobs Kaleesh Supplymasters, They're healers... I can't even get their health down bellow 60% and they can't even scratch my armor. "hay just interrupt their heals" - "oh ya, give me a no CD interrupt and I'll handle it" Sure, you could argue, just die and summon a dps companion, ya i could, but is that really considered "fun" gameplay? feels like the companions have a way to big impact on your gameplay alone, making some encounters impossible to balance for BW. but other then a ton of small bugs and some balancing that needs to be done, the game was just as awesome as I've been hoping for during the hype years, thanks you!

sadly unbalanced, all classes and specs except healers use their healing companion mainly after lvl30. sure you can pick up a dps for some weak/normal mob killing. buyt over all the healer is the only viable option unless you fancy self healing after each and every battle.

hit 50 today, after buying all skills including all speeder skills and getting my cybertech up to lvl 400 i still have about 800'000 creds left

3 turrets + 1 healing in the middle, piss easy, if you actually try 4 turrets it's impossible (unless you're a group of friends or something and have voice contact)

got a orange belt about... 6min ago, a drop on voss

didn't even know they had nerfed it allready, got it on 2 characters atm and less then 2 weeks after early access(that is 5 days after the release) i got about 1 mil credits thanks to slicing it needs to be nerfed even more if you ask me.

+1 personally going for a grey/light sides sith (sort of fighting for my people but not the higherarchy) wouldn't turn her dark side, but would love they option and would also like to keep her more towards a grey area, less of the naive-pushover jedi stuff.
