The only Blaster I know of that ignores 100% of armor is the Burst Laser Cannon (It's Tier 4 Ability) and Heavy Blaster Cannons. . . No other blasters have this ability. They have increased damage by 18% against enemy hulls, but not ignore. Secondary Abilities that have ignore + Infinite Use: Rail Gun

Currently working on the Quell. I am still about 50k Req away from basic mastery. Looking at the scout next.

I've noticed a few instances (Not all the time), where I switch a ship mid game or multiple times. . . I ended the game with 33k damage done, but only aquired a medal for 10k. This also applied when I capped 4 nodes, but only aquired a medal for 1. It doesn't seem to affect bonus req gained by these actions, but it's still annoying. Anyone else had this issue? (Yes, I know Medals themselves don't mean anything. But my ego likes them!)

I've been searching and not found anything concrete, however this is my observations. A well distributed medal accomplishment goes a long way, and some are weighted more than others. Heavy weight: Capturing nodes / Defending Nodes Medals (I've lost before, but had 4 Nodes Captured, 2 nodes defending and got over 1000 req (without bonus req) Medium Weight: Turret Destroying / Damage Done Medals Light Weight/No Weight: Kills/Assists Medals Please Note, this is only my personal observations. I've been watching my req gains when I aquire certain medals. The medals themselves don't give the REQ, but the actions for getting the medals and the actions for getting the REQ seem to be the same for certain actions -

I and many other players do not complain about these things, we find ways around them. Stop demanding changes to "protect you" and figure out how you can counter the tactic. I'll give you a hint: The person positing about ship switching was on the right track. And the person who mentioned working with your team to counter the tactic, was also on the right track." I have never encountered an enemy tactic I could not counter. Stop complaining that your lack of tact or the fact that you get ganked means the game needs a change. Side Note: I do support the other thread about Gunship Ion Blasts applying full debuff with a "Love tap" Shot. I imagine once this is fixed, you will see less of these gunships.

If you really want to get Top Damage you need to use your Blasters. I know this sounds obvious, but I see more Fighters trying to get their missile locks on, and forgetting to be targeting and firing lasers in the meantime. I just got out of a game where I did 75k damage. I could have boosted this easily more if I were going after turrets. Their stationary nature makes them easy damage boosters for my score.

Close range and non-existant hit registry

Ever Notice that the detailed weapon descriptions give listing of accuracy for Max range. . . Mid range. . Then "Close Range". . which is 500 meters. <500 meters your accuracy starts to drop dramatically the closer you get to 0. -
Howdy all, I'm sure this has been brought up before: I use to pvp exclusively, grind to get the best PVP gear. But after returning to the game from a year absence.. . . I don't really feel the need to get the PVP gear. I can just exploit the current "Bolster" system to get on par with everyone else. . .. So if I'm pvping I'm just doing it for fun, but I'm not really working toward anything anymore. *Add* This is just for PVP Queuing, I do not world PVP, or plan too.

Novadive/Flashfire have the exact same pitch/yaw and default speed. . . . What I think you are noticing are the different mods they have by default or through upgrade (like Engine Boost) All ships of the same class (Fighter/Scout/GS) have the same default specs for engine speed, burst burn rate. . ect

On Medals from a "Star Ship Switcher" I often switch ships mid battle (or use too) Has anyone else noticed that this messes up medal gains? I want to say its like it resets the counter for things done (like damage, kills, turret destroyed. . .) -

So I don't know if this is just me. . . . But if Gunships are so overly powered. I'd expect to see half the players in my match playing them.. . . Lately I've seen 1 or 2 (sometimes no) gunships per match. And those 1 or 2 who pick gunships. . . Are targetted and hounded all game. . . Players are becoming smart - I've even seen people pick "Scout" at the player read screen. . . wait a few seconds after game start, then switch to gunship. But even then, after one Slug shot, I see a swarm of ships going after them. I'm not here to state my beliefs about Gunships OP or Not. . . I'm just saying "If they are so OP, why don't I constantly see half my team or enemy team using them"

Remember, Forums for mostly for complaints. . . So I wouldn't read to much into what you see on the forums , , , It's all over exhaggerated (mostly)

I choose HEALTH. . . To many "Armor Ignores" and "Shield Pierce" abilities. . . Health is the only thing thats dependable for Effective hit points

Since I switch between Pub and Imp players. . . I will also note that Republic have an advantage over imps . . . Personally I want 3 things on my gunship - Killzone (+2 Degree), Pinpointing (+6 Accuracy), and Bypass. . . Republic is the only one who can get all three of these. (Due to companion differences)

You forgot to mention the Barrel Roll / Aim Trick: Meaning: While in mid barrel roll. You can force yourself to stop prematurely by zooming in the aim with your railgun. I doubt that was intended. *Edit* On Courtney's note of Bypass. . . It's one of the few ways I like to harass them as a gunship =p I can see why they dislikes it! I used it on her quite a few times the past day or two.
