  1. My breath is taken away. This was simply beautiful.
  2. Thank you very much for your kind words, friends!
  3. Hello guys. Just wanted to make a short thread showing off my recent work on a Star Wars logo. I've used Photoshop CS6 and tons of textures and layer masks. If you're interested in the .psd you can get it right below. Also notice the shapes - strokes are appearing as well. I've used a black to white gradient. Textures can be found here, (http://www.bittbox.com/freebies/free-texture-tuesday-blue-grunge) Tutorial can be found here, (http://tutzor.com/tutorials/star-wars-text-effect) PSD can be found here, (http://www.speedyshare.com/RwpZg/Star-wars.psd) http://s2.postimage.org/v76jkrkp5/Star_wars.png Also great thanks to tutzor for providing me a tutorial for the rough guidance on this image.
  4. Roll Cybertech. When you reach level 50, you can reverse engineer for instance, War Hero mods and sell those. They're worth a bunch of credit. Overall you can also find several of ways to earn credit throughout your leveling with Cybertech.
  5. Currently recruiting: + Level 50'ies + PvP/PvE interested people + Friendly people + Casual players + Recommended non-free-to-players Again if you are interested, PM me your in-game username so we'll be able to get back to you. The Pwntato has also launched our monday-friday daily runs so we'll be able to equip ourselves for PvE battles. Stay tuned on our launches through this thread. Any questions are accepted on PM's or on this thread. Also keep in mind we've Ventrilo servers provided. Our Guild Banks are launching as soon as we launch our forums. Our community is currently from: + United Kingdom + Sweden + Denmark That'll be all. Best Regards, Frederik. Council member of The Pwntato.
  6. Hello everyone. I've been playing with a few of my friends since the very beginning in the game. We've participated in a couple of Guilds, and we enjoyed the community, and the opportunity to get into Flashpoints, Operations etc. After 6 months of gameplay, we took at break. When 1.5 launched, we returned to see how things were floating. Fortunately we liked it. We liked it so much that we even had the idea to make a Guild upon our experience. And our Guild should be unique, in that regard; every member should be appreciated, and we'd have a fun time. So we made it! We made a Guild under the silly and unconsciously name, The Pwntato. So who the balls are we?! What's our goal? Our goal is to make everyone feel good about having a community, and be proud carrying a nameplate saying our Guild name. Our primary goal is to provide help to every player. You see, we've been playing for a while, so it'd be obvious to tell other about the possibilities and all the shortcuts. We're welcoming Free-to-Players with open hands so we're able to help them through difficult times. Just note that you'd have to be at least level 10 to enter! Why are we different from other Guilds? We're not that different, but we can definitely provide a nice community. We're friendly (as far as I'm concerned), and we want you to feel safe. We'll run you through Flashpoints, PvP runs, operations or whatever you feel like. What have you accomplished so far? We've been doing tons of Hammer Station and Black Talon runs today. "That's not too hard", you might say. Well, no. But it's efficient to our current level. The Council obviously has a few level 50'ies, but while still there are loads of low-levels during the Free-to-Play time, we're currently focused on up-building a solid state from bottom to top. In other words, we'll start from low-level so we can help as many as possible (including ourselves), and then turn into a powerful rock in the end. Do you use any type of communication-software? Yep! We're using a personal Ventrilo server, hosted by our Guild Master. If you have any questions, leave a PM and we can invite you to a little meeting on our Ventrilo server if you feel like. Obviously, we can't provide the server information here on the public forums. But in general, we use Ventrilo for Flashpoints, levelling, Operations, chit-chat and there's of course a room for the idlers (if those people still exist). How do you bring people to your Guild? At the moment, we're advertising like shameless whores. In the world we live in, it's a beast to gather people without any source. Where do we get our sources from then? Well, the forums as we're doing right now. The Guild has about 30-40 members and it's based on friends and a few interested people. We're classifying and kicking members asking for credit or those who are simply douchebags. It happened unfortunately. Do you have a forum, and will you launch applications? We don't have a forum, but when we'll reach 75 members, we're excited about launching one. And when that comes, we're also allowing people to write down applications in order to join. That means, right now we're gathering people, and then, we're launching applications. Why? Because before you can start being picky, you'll need members already - otherwise it'd take a thousand light years. Are you Star Wars fans? Hardcore. That'll be all. As we have no forum, just write your in-game name and we'll get back to you. You can also choose to leave a PM. Can you have more than one character? Yes, we're running an alt-system that allows you to bunk all your chars in the Guild. By the way, we have people from UK and Sweden. I'm a Dane myself. Best Regards, Frederik. Council member of The Pwntato.
  7. I agree. Who wants to buy a Jukebox token?! Give us booze!
  8. Star Wars Podracer: Racer was one of the best Star Wars games out there in my opinion. Amazon link
  9. Very valuable things in this post to think about. All in all, play the game as you want to get your best enjoyment. Thank you for taking your time to post this Revelationjp.
  10. It's actually a pretty good point. I don't know if Bioware had this in mind though, but it's a good point. It's not that I really care about this, I just wanted to hear each and every one of you your opinion on this and if you're disturbed about it.
  11. I been thinking about it too, putting the sentences instead of small words or combinations. Sometimes the word you're pressing is something totally different than what you expected. It's only like this in some cases, but I can find it a bit annoying as I'm a big fan of Lore and Codex' and likes RP a lot.
  12. Hello guys. First of, this has probably been either discussed or concluded by any chance, in that regard, sorry. Right so let's just jump right in to my question. I've been playing since the beta-launch playing Jedi and now I embraced the Dark Side. Whenever you're Dark side or light, and use the dialog answering system, something odd came to my mind. If you're a Sith, you're of course in this evil cult or group or whatever you want to call it, and it seems like, even if you answer a question or a sentence with something "good", or light side driven, you still seem to answer something "bad". For instance, if you get to meet an Agent on the Empire that wants you to hand over this datacron or something, and he says, "Please, can you give me the Datacron?", and you answer a fairly reasonable light sided answer, you press for instance, "Yes", and then he says, "Just take it already". It appears that even if you want to go light side, you're still disturbed by the fact that there's evil words coming from your mouth even if you didn't want to. Have you been wondering about this and do you think they'll make either Dark or Light answers more stereotyped?
  13. I don't know if it has already been said but, if some of you heard the story of Shaela Nuur, you'll know that if a female or male, serving in the Republic, suddenly feels emotions for another one, she already made the crime. I don't want to tell the story about her because it's quite long. A Jedi from the Council will definitely feel when you have emotions and love for another, and they'd ban you. That's what happended to Shaela Nuur. Look it up
  14. I got quite suprised while reading your post. It seems like people is forgetting about this Operation and Flashpoint event going on or just PvE in general. The Warzones are what people are doing. I haven't got a chance to try Operations yet, but it just seems a little pointless in this very moment, even on the PvE servers if it's EU, US or Asian.
  15. I see, thanks a lot guys.

    About this Valor

Hello guys. Lately I've been told I should follow the Valor value with my actual level. Which means, if I am level 25, I should be Valor rank 25. Is that true? The guy said it's very hard to gain valor when you're in the high levels. I'm currently rank 8 in valor, and I'm level 23. Would it mean I'd have to work my butt off the week to get valor rank 25? It's my own opinion of course, but, what would be the most effective way to handle this issue I'm having? Fred.
  17. Hello guys. First of all I want to point out that there'll be a lot of text here. Take your time to read it if you actually play on the Bloodworthy server. It's a recruitment topic for recruiting people, obviously. If you're not looking for a Guild, this is not the place for you. Alright, that should clear stuff up, here we go. <IO> Guild IO is a new Guild searching members on the Bloodworthy server- playing as Empire. We're a friendly community, which can promise some stuff that you'll probably find useful. We're not doing anything particular, nothing but one friendly Guild. We can promise.. .. An awesome forum http://www.io.jedinow.com We're super proud of our forums for a couple of reasons. First of all it has a very reasonable layout, easy for you to navigate where you wanna go, real quick. There's a navigation panel or a header, with Forums, and the Recruitment tab- where you'll write your Application. The Application is easily wrote in 5min time, maybe less if you're fast on the keyboard. Note that we're accepting most of your application because it's a new guild. Badges When you're promoted in the Guild, we'll promise a badge or two for you on the forums, that'd unlock new features. Badges are currently: http://files.enjin.com.s3.amazonaws.com/89647/site_user_tags/83528.png?rand=0.03874690715511875 http://files.enjin.com.s3.amazonaws.com/89647/site_user_tags/177990.png?rand=0.8886883669128847 http://files.enjin.com.s3.amazonaws.com/89647/site_user_tags/177998.png?rand=0.011259141131325201 http://files.enjin.com.s3.amazonaws.com/89647/site_user_tags/177999.png?rand=0.38577845003003886 http://files.enjin.com.s3.amazonaws.com/89647/site_user_tags/178001.png?rand=0.3863415383186971 .. for you badgerholics. What do you expect of me? Nothing really, you should have a decent english language. However, we expect you to be patient, because we're a new Guild, and you should not expect us, to run you through every operative and flashpoints every hour. That's a bit too much to ask when we launched a week ago or so. That's human logic. Q&A It contains spoilers you can either hide or show. This would make it a bit more clear to you, what you want to know and how. I want to sign up for the forums, and apply later. Why can I only see a few sub-forums? I want to apply to the Guild. I want to sign up for the forums, and apply later. Why can I only see a few sub-forums? I want to apply to the Guild. I'm invited, but I don't know what you require by my rank, or what the rank means. Why is the population low at the moment? Do you do Guild Premades? Aaaaaaand, my name is Blee and I'm the current GM of the Guild. IO wishes you welcome!
  18. This list had me in to listen to the MER podcast. That's awesome. Thank you so much.
  19. As mentioned, a bunch of people are playing this game, and a little amount of people is actually complaining. That amount of people cannot accept that the game is brand now. My personally opinion is that Bioware done a great job, and the game aren't buggy at all, for a new MMO.
  20. That is so amazing man, good job, really!
