No, I think everything EU after RotJ IS gone. Same with most things before Ep. 1, but im optimistic SWTOR is part of the New canon.

Pre Vizla was my main argument. On another note however, (not touching on the SW universe itself) I saw Lucasarts and Disney say something like "Anything going forward is canon". SWTOR is going to have PLENTY of new story updates, so I hope this means Lucasarts & Disney will count it as in the "Going Forward" category.

Yeah, Vizla is threatening Kenobi with a Darksaber, That scene. Its been a while sice I watched TCW, so youll have to forgive me. Also, some will dispute "Fall of the Old Republic", but I think it fits. The Old Republic was no longer THE Galactic Power. It had to contend with the Sith and their Empire.

OP, at first I thought I was the only optimistic one here. On a different note, if you go to the "Is SWTOR Canon" discussion in General, I made some points about the good possibility of TOR being "New" Star Wars.

Yeah - They scrapped post ROTJ ( Which I Didn't like anyhow), and made the stuff that works with G-Canon "Legends". Am I correct?

Call me a fool, but im trying to hope Swtor and its characters are still canon. Apart from my comment about Pre Vizla, Disney basically said everything going forward was canon. Tor is going to have plenty of expansions (with SW content) in the future , which makes me hope that Lucasarts will count it as in the " Going Forward " category, which makes me hope that not only TOR, but KOTOR (which SWTOR is heavily based off) will be considered canon.

From looking at the EU video on YouTube, they included SWTOR in the video along with all the other stuff theyre throwing out. It dosent look good...

In TCW, in one of the episodes about Mandalore, Pre Vizla mentioned his ancestor, Shae, and the Sacking of Corucsant. Look it up if you don't believe me.
