  1. Film never stated the floating platform they were on worked only on lava so... I'd like to think he could have floated around Obi Wan and take the higher higher ground lol, but I guess it just makes more sense to try to flip over him
  2. Your talking about a game, Im referring to more credible sources like the films
  3. I think I verbalized my point clearly, too many of those facepalms may cause that brain to rattle around in that head of yours, careful
  4. Empire at War 2 (Not Rebellion) They're the ones with highly developed space battle system and land battle system, if they only had certain Starcraft or Red Alert tweaks like creeping or exploration rewards, it would be a best seller
  5. Star Trek wins If it's space combat, Star Trek wins. They actually use a targeting system to specifically take out engines, life support, main power which is highly accurate. And a Warp core, if destroyed, would disable, if not destroy nearby ships. Genesis torpedo which can destroy an entire planet without having to construct a giant space station. The "Q".... which are pretty much omniscient beings that can go back and forward in time, and bend space and time to their will. Cloaking systems on large space vessels. Aliens which are able to peer into ppls minds disrupting their telepathic abilities nullifying Jedi abilities of Battle Meditation They'd never have reason to fight a war in close combat, if they did, Klingons and Jem'Hadar will take care of it along with Vorta for some mysticism Not to mention how easily Starships of gigantic sizes can maneuver in space, Galaxy Class Federation starship can do a U Turn in seconds and the crew manning that vessel is over a thousand
  6. Huh? Im saying Star Trek would win simply because the genesis torpedo will have similar results to the Death Star without them having to construct a giant space station... no clue where you got the rest of that stuff from what I said
  7. If you played Imperial Commando, the game logic would intentionally cause you to miss every shot you fired...... don't think I'd want to play that game, think I'd get frustrated.... I still say, Empire at War 2 using more modern real time strategy techniques like creeping, etc. Use Red Alert 2/3 and StarCraft 2 as a template
  8. eh... either the twilek homeworld or togruta homeworld... why? Isn't it obvious? Sheesh Giggity
  9. Being Sneaky and not exactly fair led to Sidious successfully conquering the Republic, wits is a commendable trait aswell And dead Sith are the ones who didn't deserve to live. Weak Sith are leeches of the force, like weak Jedi who are put in charge of maintaining the Jedi Library. Difference is, Jedi wouldn't mind keeping 10 mediocre Jedi opposed to 1 who shows outstanding potential and ambition.
  10. Whens the last time 1 Jedi hacked down legions of Sith like, Anakin (sith) did, hacking down Jedi in the Jedi temple? Or Malgus did for that matter? Sith are the ones with the track record of 1 vs 2 or 3 and odds still favor them there's nothing subconscious, Sith follow their mantra to the letter, and even succeed in the Jedi mantra where Jedi fail. "There is no ignorance, there is knowledge" Jedi choose ignorance instead of learn about the darkside of the force in fear it would corrupt them to seek greater power, Sith hold no such scrutiny like I've mentioned before. And if knowledge is power, they are more powerful. Jedi intentionally limit themselves and their abilities, Sith don't, they seek greater knowledge and power. And their mantra doesn't subliminally tell them to lose....... "There is no Death, There is the Force" that's like saying, kill me, I don't care, there's an afterlife, Jedi gave up before the war even started Sith just fight themselves because they're bored fighting Jedi, when the Sith finally destroy themselves, the hiding remnant Jedi come scurrying from underneathe their rocks they lived under
  11. lol, Fail Fail Fail... all you can do is spout out useless contradictions
  12. My whole point is Sith vs Jedi, Sith always wins unless the Jedi calls on the Dark side of the force to save his sorry behind. Jedi even fail at their mantra, "There is no Ignorance, there is knowledge" when they refuse to learn ALL aspects of the force. A goal that the Sith show no scrutiny over, making them more knowledgeable in all aspects of the force, thusly more powerful. So not only are Jedi weak, they're hypocrits. And even in their Mantra, "There is no death, there is the force" shows, they had already given up. Only ppl who prepare for death are the losers, the winners step on their throats, and those winners are the Sith. Thing is, they get so bored killing pathetic Jedi that they have to fight themselves to get some sort of challenge
  13. Think the thread is about who is more powerful, not who kisses the most babies and shakes the most hands to keep the galaxy loyal
  14. I dont put any credibility in what he thinks. Im sure he thought the "Nooo" at the end of ROTS was supposed to be dramatic, but it was actually funny
  15. It wasn't aimed for anyone I think...... all joking aside, the prequels were just a mess, going from slapstick to drama, action to silliness, child oriented to mutilation by limbs getting chopped off and burning alive. ANH was for young teens, ESB was for adults, and ROTJ was for everyone. With the prequels... if it was for kids, they wouldn't have such scenes of violence, Anakin massacring children, dull political jargon. It was just a mess, probably filmed based off of Lucas' frame of mind he was in that day.
  16. EU writers are like Spades players, they'll keep trying trump one another until the game is over. Luke's rise to power and ability is inconsistent and not believable comparitive to his skill level shown at the end of ROTJ. And EU writers, just to trump one another would continue making him more and more powerful till one just gives up and says, he can control space and time. Like Timothy Zahn, all the writers want to be remembered doing something memorable in the series, and giving Luke more and more powers he'd obviously be unable to get in that amount of time seems like the easiest yet sappiest way.
  17. Star Wars- Empire at War 2, it was a good start in making a Star Wars rts, but they needed creeping, troop ranking up added, and reasons to explore maps. Games like Red Alert usually have extra units or side missions when you go off and explore
  18. He revised the series over 3 times..... I don't think he even knew what he wanted, 35 years later is the senile George Lucas who directs movies in the comfort of a lawn chair watching monitors and drinking coffee in his flannel shirt, 35 years ago was the visionary George Lucas, a man who once said, "Special effect is a tool, used to tell a story; Directors make the mistake of using them as an "ins" themselves.".... That George Lucas would slap Senile George Lucas
  19. He also once said Luke was originally supposed to be a 60 year old general and Han Solo was a reptile, till someone told him that was a bad idea
  20. Next, ask him the names of the Solo children... see if he knows; he hasn't had complete control of Star Wars since ESB... and over 90 percent of the lore that exists and are canon he had nothing to do with it, all he cares about is the bottomline, money, don't put credibility on someone who would change the entire history of Star Wars if he knew he would make an extra buck revising the series time and again
  21. Your comparing the Galactic Empire to the Republic, not the Sith to the Jedi Besides, the Chancellor leads the Republic assisted by a Senate, almost always not a Jedi except for one instance Your comparing governments, not orders
  22. The Genesis Torpedo..... destroy an entire planet without haven't to create a moon sized space station with an exposed exhaust port
  23. Kaan wasn't a true Sith, he didn't even allow Darth titles to be granted, everyone was equal, at most he was a dark jedi, and even then, it was because Bane set him up. And for Jedi, their original philosophy was the pursuit of knowledge, if they fail at that, they fail at life, especially since Sith are the ones who are truly pursuing that goal without scrutiny.
  24. Eh... another one referencing a senile old man who directs movies from the comfort of a lawnchair, who constantly changes his films for the worse, with credibility shot in his recent bowel movement "Red Tails." He couldn't even link Obi Wan's saying "1000 generations the Jedi were guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic," to Palpatine's saying in the prequels, "I will not allow this Republic that has stood for a thousand years to be split in two." A year is vastly different than a generation...... if he couldn't keep that consistent why are you putting any credibility in what he says, he hasn't had complete ownership of Star Wars since ESB... in his recent changes, he obviously doesn't understand the tones expressed in his movies; ask Lucas to name the Solo children... he wouldn't be able to do it Im certain... he doesn't care, he only cares about money. And if you give credibility in someone who only cares about the bottom line, then go ahead. Fyi, Luke was supposed to be a 60 year old General, and Han Solo was supposed to be a reptile.... compute that
