Yeah, that’s the problem, it seems from my reading based on a supposed npc thing that says “near death” whatever that means and to me that doesn’t mean kill option per say, while people may claim this source is reliable and the site that’s not always a 100% guarentee as “near death” could mean you can try but Theron escapes, which isn’t a good option either but then again could mean that Theron is badly wounded at the end of this and we spare his life, there’s many ways to interprete that so best bet is wait and see. Can’t base something on a claim of “near death”.

Yes there was a romance of Arcann but that doesn’t mean that anything more will come of it as Arcann does not make an apearance on Iokath, Umbara or Triator Among the Chiss, which is what bothers me. Why give Arcann a romance orpion now but not have him part of the story at all? It is bad writing on Bioware’s part and does not give me any hope for Theron, if we are to believe these people actually datamined the information as they claim (I’d love to see their source if there is none why believe it?)

I don’t think I will even get out of bed tomorrow. I’ll juat watch what is on YouTube and see what happens and if a kill option happens I will just cry my eyes out the rest of the day and stay in bed and never get back on swtor cause it will be dead to me. The game has pushed the envelope way too many times. Choices don’t matter, only edgelords. All I kmow is I looked at what source they got their information from and I just don’t see where anything says that there is a kill option. I don’t know if that is just wishful thinking by edgelords but then I am not sure where the information is coming from. Course this is the first time I have ever tried to look into information that is supposedly leaked but those claiming that there is a kill option don’t link the source of their information and that’s where you have to question things, even if it is wrongfully obtained if you are going to say “Oh there is a kill option.” then link your source or don’t make the claim. (I don’t mean on here I am talking about where whoever is putting out these “spoilers” is getting their information all I say was one website linked at at least one of them and nothing said Theron was getting a kill option.)

I am hoping that people are just speculating as I am not seeing what other people are seeing anywhere on the internet I went to look, it is a claim but not yet verified but if it does happen I am gone, no point in romancing a companion if they end up being killed off in the end and we are left with nothing after cause the edgelords always have to have their way. Add-on: I'll be waiting to see the video on YouTube if there is a kill option or not.

Same here kill option happens for Theron I'm gone this next update is the deciding factor for quite a few people. It is getting old. All our original companions that came back during KOTFE turned into cardboard cut outs after they returned, minus Kaliyo and Aric Jorgan until Chapter XIII of KOTFE when they both got their kill options and I don't expect anything to come of this Arcann romance that just happened other than what people got who chose to romance him and I of course didn't cause my toons that went through story are all in a relationship with Theron Shan. I just am so tired of choices I make in my story not mattering due to kill options and exiling. It writes them out and while I like Lana as a character I am not sticking around for a Lana love fest while my LI even if I spared him I won't get to talk to or interact with anymore. I didn't see Arcann involved in the whole Iokath or Crisis on Umbara story all I ended up with was a creepy letter from him after what happened with Theron and I am like "Dude! Seriously? I just lost my lover and you are coming onto me?! Talk about desperate..." But yeah, my question is this: How many more subs can SWTOR afford to lose? Theron could cost them a lot of people cause a lot of us are getting tired of companions, especially LI companions, being written out.

I don’t understand why we were given new augments only for them to become obsolete after 5 months, making the 236 ones are not easy nor cheap when you have to wait on a chance for one of the mats you need to drop from a Command Crate, or buy them for 1.5 mil on the GTN, I know it’s available from ranked pvp Daily and weekly but I don’t do ranked pvp and have stopped unranked as it’s just not as fun or appealing as OPS are so it just seems like Bioware is just pulling at strings in hopes people will do the flashpoint when I probably won’t if there ends up being a kill option for Theron (will be watching for a video on YouTube) so these augments will not be an incentice to do the flashpoint for me. Personally if I was Bioware I would have attached the drop to the Iokath OPS, on my server it’s almost impossible to get an OPS group for GOTM because of the difficulties with IZAX, for a lot of people it’s how you have to have at least one person survive at the end of everything just to complete the OPS and that’s not a worthwhile thing for many of us who enjoy OPS to go into an OPS and have a slim chance of completing it without a total whipe at the end cause no one survived the explosion where if the chances of them dropping per boss in SM would be a lot more incentive for people to do the OPS than a flashpoint that comes with the main story that you can randomly be pulled into, though when it comes to Crisis and Traitor, if either pull up I just don’t hit the travel button leave the group and take a lockout to avoid them but my choice and I am just making it clear to Bioware that these augments are not inticing enough for me to want to do the flashpoint with current possibilities right now. No thanks Bioware.

I have notice that as well, not sure what is going on but when I did it I wasn’t getting any boost from either, but I don’t think it is working as it is suppose to but I am sure Bioware will say it is “working as intended.”

Did we really need another character inspired jetpack? The HK-55 one was cool and all but this IZAX jetpack is just overkill, not well thought out and just plain ugly. If you wanted to do an IZAX-inspired mount why not make it where you are riding a miniature IZAX that shoots an ominicannon beam when you press Z? That would have been a lot cooler than this ugly jetpack you announced. Oh well, maybe an IZAX-inspired mount like this for a Cartel Market pack/direct sale item to make up for the ugly jetpack.

100% agree with this, the problem isn't that there shouldn't be a kill/exile option if there are alternatives that don't effect another player's story but as it is the kill option, no matter what, effectively erases the character for everyone, not just those who opted to kill. And until Bioware can make two alternatives to the story, I agree the kill option should not be in the game on any companion from here on out.

I don't recall seeing Koth on Iokath on my JK who light sided the whole storyline so Koth never betrayed him and stole the Gravestone, etc. so if that happaned with Koth no matter what the choices it can happen with Theron if he gets a kill/exile option as well.

Lana made it very clear at the end of KOTET that there were dark forces stirring, Theron after years of knowing and working with Lana probably knows to trust what Lana senses (though Lana has this strong affiliation with the force she STILL is blind-sighted by betrayal [makes you wonder if she's involved to keep having this issue a FOURTH TIME.]) and probably went looking into it and found out about the threat the Heralds of Zildrog posed.

Like if Koth betrayed the alliance, stole the Gravestone, you spare him and allow him back and he goes into exile instead. Either way Koth got written out of the story no matter what option you chose, even if you light sided the whole storyline, he ended up a cardboard cut out minus one scene during The Eternal Throne option if he was a LI and that's it other than that he made no return afterwords as he wasn't on Iokath when all that went down.

Honestly I think it's BS we lost any companions truth be told, yeah my SI killed Koth cause of his double standards where I and Lana are concerned as we are both Sith but he tolerates Lana's evil actions but not mine, total hogwash and bullsh*t so of course that annoyed my SI and so he died, but my Jedi Knight who also went through story completely light sided and therefore did not kill Koth yet that choice did not matter, Koth ended up a cardboard cut out in the end. I hated that choice option between Torian and Vette as well along with losing Kaliyo and Jorgan all due to the kill options or the one was gonna die no matter who you chose where Vette and Torian were concerned, I literally enjoyed getting tons of companions and having them now it's like why did we lose our five vanilla companions if only to keep losing the new companions?

All I am hearing is "I want to kill Theron and screw that you no longer get to romance him." Again why are you here if all you care about is killing? If that's all you care about and you don't care that the killing option will once again take away another love interest then you are not helping contribute to the conversation, if you want to make suggestions where Bioware brings back the companions people didn't kill and are no longer cardboard cut outs and those who didn't kill them can interact with them and you don't have to then I am all ears otherwise you are not contributing to the conversation and there is no point in you replying or me replying to you.

I'd go with this over chapters anyday as they made the chapters where they just continued on none stop after they were fully released. I personally didn't care for that and have on several occasion stopped my toon from progressing the story after Chapter 9 while trying to finish other content such as the Star Fortresses and what not and that is just really bothersome and is something that needs to be either fixed or never done again.

And it's not just Theron that ticks me off, I liked Vette, the galaxy is literally short one less Twi'lek even though Vaylin didn't kill Vette for any of my toons. I am honestly sick and tired of us consistently losing our companions like this it's getting old, not that you edgelords even give a damn, it's all about kill kill kill and screw anyone else's feelings.

Agreed. It's getting old that the edgelords are getting their way while the rest of us suffer for it and lose our LIs cause of this, as I said there is no guarantee that those who just romanced Arcann will get any further interactions with him as Koth, Kaliyo, Jorgan, etc. have all proven that the kill option just ends up with you only getting mail if you didn't kill them. Yeah I'd like to keep the alliance after all this.
