I don’t side with Pub when it comes to my Sith, so as for what you are saying I get what you mean I am not disputing that, in the context I am not sure if by Pub the person means they sided with the Republic or if they mean Theron who is technically a Pub. Without further elaboration on that I cannot say what they mean, my SW personally forgave him, I think the betrayal in this instance (if you side with Imp, which is the only way to get Quinn back as a companion) is that he didn’t come looking for you and even he admits in the videos I have seen him siding with Acina is a betrayal to you.

Plus the way the conversation went I was under the assumption the only one who had a problem was the one being rude and put “jew” as a reason to kick. So no I am not going to respect 1 rude player in a group, it’s not going to happen. And truth be told they could have just as easily left the group instead of being rude and snide and initiating a vote kick putting an anti-semitic reasoning (“jew”). and I have seen some defend this as if it is nothing, are these people unaware the person did not even have to type in a reason at all, that you can just ignitiate it without typing the reason?

Not sure if this has been brought up before but can we get a Tauntaun companion already? We have an Akk Dog, a Nexu, a Krakja, etc. but have yet to get a Tauntaun. Can we have a Tauntaun please?

I feel the same about Theron but these kill options with half of our companions ending up being cardboard cutouts afterwords or just returning only to end up as cardboard cutouts is getting pretty old. What I find interesting is how people missed this: What I find interesting on these forums is people’s blantent ability to pick and chose what to read and make a comment on and yet that question went unanswered and some flatout wanted me to violate the terms of service and call the player out on here by providing the screenshot which I will not do, simply put people could have just answered that question but no people just like to come on here personally attack and argue and that’s just not me, you want to argue I am not one of those people to with it, you don’t agree fine, you don’t have to comment on things I post on the forum but it is whatever, I hate the toxicity in this game and on the forum community and really do not have the patience for it anymore, if it continues and ends up chasing me off for good, well that’s Bioware’s loss. Okay let’s play a scenario here, say a newbie player just started the game and found out that they could scavenge in a flashpoint and started doing so and got kicked from the group while receiving rude remarks from a vet player for something they just discovered, that could scare off new players and make them less likely to do such activities. All it takes is one bad experience like mine over a damn crew skill to ruin it for them and make them not want to do the activity and that’s not right to the new player cause someone wanted to rush the flashpoint and not have the patience to allow someone to gather mats and just want to be rude about it. Add-on: So I stand my ground on this any kicking other than for a DC is an abuse of the vote kick mechanic and nothing is going to budge me from it.

I use the vote kick for what it is intended for to remove people who DC, no I don’t initate it right off the bat, some do and I find that bit much, usually I wait until we get to the next cutscene and if they haven’t returned by then I remove them or if it is right before I try to give a few minutes before initating a vote.

Yeah I have never understood the argument that people are CXP grinding yet do not do the bonus in flashpoints, you get CXP for completing the bonus and most bonus bosses I seen drop a CXP thing so that just literally makes no sense to me to claim that you want CXP but then skip stuff that gives it to you, to me every bit helps or that’s how I look at it anyway.

Sorry you think that people’s rushing is more important than my crew skill gathering and sorry you do not have the common decency and respect for all mechanics in the game, as I pointed out I could just be as rude to other players and kick people for rushing a group just as they can kick me from a group for doing a crew skill but as I do not do such a thing, the only thing I have ever initiated a vote kick on is when a player disconnects and does not return, which is not unreasonable, the rest is just an abuse of the vote kick ability. Add-on: The only other reason to remove a player from a group is say you are in an OPS and you have a player or players who are not listening and just trolling the ops, had a healer come in and do that and just initated the puzzle in EV while a battle was going on and just was screwing the OPS for everyone, there are reasonable reasons to kick people from a group but Crew skill and rushing is not one of them and is an abuse of an in game mechanic.

As I said, I have not ever kicked someone over a Crew Skill as I find it rude and uncalled for nor would I ever. As the saying goes, do unto others as you would have done unto you, and there’s the rub, you want to talk about practicing what I preach you know nothing about me or what I do in the game and what I would and would not do and I do not kick people out of group over using a damn crew skill in a flashpoint, that is totally and utterly ridiculous and rude.

And yet if I ended up in a group with you and you did scavenging it would not bother me at all. Granted we may fight over it cause I try to get them just as much as you would but I would not kick someone out of a group over it cause it’s rude and uncalled for but whatever, no I will not take the blame for this nor am I in the wrong for it. Nope I was not in the wrong, if Bioware didn’t want me to scavenge during a flashpoint they wouldn’t have given the ability to do so, I do not have to ask any players’ permission to do a mechanic in a game that was put there by the intentions of Bioware to be done nor will I demand the same from other players and no one should demand the same of me. I was doing nothing to this person that was causing them any sort of physical harm, I was just using a mechanic in a game. And based on your argument I could just kick people from a flashpoint for rushing it, which is just as rude as kicking me for doing my crew skill. Me personally I have no reason to rush, the two toons I am mainly on are at rank 300 and in full 248 gear that is augmented so for me I am just finding stuff to do (I have 21 toons just not even trying to get all of them to rank 300 as two is enough for me plus the mods can be put in legacy bound gear and transfer between toons of the same type but as I said I really only play on two out of the 21) so CXP grinding is not my top priority as the two toons I wanted to get fully geared are.

Then let me ask this: Why play an MMO if you are going to get upset with someone for doing a mechanic in a game that was implemented by the creators? They did not have to give the ability to do crew skills in any flashpoints whatsoever and yet they did. To be mad at and make the person who was doing nothing wrong except using a mechanic in the game that Bioware put there is complete and utter nonsense. People are acting like I was doing wrong I highly disagree. If Bioware did not want us to scavenge, slice or whatever that one is that you can get from dead creatures in flashpoints they would not have allowed us to do. So moot argument. No one’s objectives are more important than anothers and it is is the fault of those who think that their time is being wasted that are the problem, not me. I for one do not ever treat anyone like this, is someone is using their crew skill why care? It is not that big of a deal, I have not ever complained about people using their crew skills and wasting my time cause they are not. It is a game and they are using a function Bioware put in, they do not have to ask my permission to use a mechanic implemented in a game. Period.
