  1. Healing is only broken with bad / unaware dps. Burst is still much higher than it ever was pre 3.0, and players still die incredibly fast when focused properly, even healers.
  2. No Smash nerf? Let's hope these are really incomplete.
  3. Some of us have weeklies and dailies left to complete tonight, your solution is to not play? That's really unacceptable.
  4. They just announced the "unintended patch". Their solution.... don't play until tomorrow. So, I have three characters that will be unable to complete their daily/weekly, that's pretty unacceptable.

    Cybertech Nerf

    "All Cybertech grenades now bestow a new effect, the Bastion, on the target in addition to normal effects. Players who have this effect applied are immune to further Cybertech grenade attacks for the duration of Bastion (3 minutes)." From the updated patch notes on PTS Today (http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=671978). Thoughts? Seems like a good change to me, I expected their complete removal, this is a decent middle-ground and may satisfy those that love the grenades.
  6. Apparently people want healers to fall over dead at the site of a single DPS these days. Healing, and specifically cross healing has always been the key to success in any team based PvP environment, when this became "new", or even worth posting about is beyond me. Yes, Operative healers are not balanced at the moment for the most part, and I'm sure they will see changes in 2.4. The biggest imbalance in healing at the moment (and since beta) are what tank/healer synergy is capable of. Guard and Taunts.
  7. We killed it just fine after a few attempts, just had to save cooldowns and use medpacks... yea its silly we have to work-a-round a terrible bug, but it's still killable.
  8. At a 3 to 1 rate, ie... about 9k+ comms per piece. Good idea.
  9. Quite worried about the state of PVP healing, it was already a nightmare against competent teams, Georg's comments were quite disappointing, as PVP was completely ignored.

While this is certainly true, I would hope this is not the model Bioware continues into 1.2, as it just makes every encounter about beating the enrage timer, and a minor mechanic here and there. As we all know, at this point they are miles behind in encounter development when compared to companies like Blizzard, but KP was certainly a step in the right direction. lets hope 1.2 is a step in the right direction and provides all of those on the fence a reason to play again!

  12. All stim's count as healing, regardless if its biochem crafted or not.
  13. Agree with all of this. I've raided with several top wow guild (Macabre, Overrated, Vodka), and this content is ridiculous. The guild I play with currently isn't a guild striving for bleeding edge content by any stretch, and we cleared normal, and are 4/5 hardmode with at least two of our players still wearing a few greens. The content is not only extremely buggy, the encounters have trivially easy mechanics. Soa is a great encounter, and highly enjoyable, I hope we see more of it, with a much higher learning curve.
  14. Do what... he didn't make the original post, he posted it on his own blog, showing that Juggernaut/Guardian is plenty viable. Someone else posted this here. Defending the viability of the class you play, with proof (not anecdotal bits), is hardly pushing one's "legend." No one spammed the print screen button either, sometimes when people play they use video capture programs, later you can watch the footage and take a screen capture at any point you like. Why so bitter?
  15. Full expertise is 10%, that "5k" will become 4.5k, but honestly I've seen him top 7k pretty regularly.
  16. In Ilum on Tuesday Nyan and I killed maybe five of a group of seven or eight Empire players that tried to killed us. This is small scale, and was in the pvp zone (at a cap) where there were lots of vehicles for me to LOS with. Before you say it, Healer + Tank is ridiculously strong, and our opponents were clearly not the brightest and mostly died while trying to chase me and failed to CC me long enough to burst me down till I was nearly out of force, and yes, they initially tried to focus the tank while I just healed him. Guardians are a great class at fifty, packaged in a group with any competent healer and that group becomes infinitely better through the group support a guardian offers. Gear up, experiment with some builds, make some friends, all classes are pretty viable at this point.
  17. Yea, the chests being bugged is bad enough, but it auto assigning loot is pretty ridiculous.
  18. The only reason anyone says it's unkillable has nothing to do with difficulty, its bugged for most people.. once most raids drop down they are unable to move.
