  1. It takes an actual game update to adjust in-game schedules, which is why we're coordinating it with the release of the next patch. We would have liked to provide it earlier, but having to get all the development environment set up in a collaborative way has taken a bit of a focused effort. The soonest we can make the adjustment for Double XP is with Game Update 6.1.1. -Keith--
  2. Hey all, There’s some good discussion here that I wanted to weigh in on. Double XP was something we were planning to bring back for May the 4th. We discussed offering it sooner, but with everyone having to work-from-home, we needed to spend the time getting the Dev Team set up to work remotely. So, instead of providing you with one week, we’ll be extending Double XP to around four weeks, starting with Game Update 6.1.1 currently scheduled to be available on 14-Apr-2020. The planned end date for Double XP is 12-May-2020. With all that’s going on these days, the dates could change, but we’ll keep you apprised. But, if it does, we’ll continue to offer the 4-weeks of Double XP (I figured someone was going to ask). We sincerely hope you are all staying healthy. See you in-game soon. ---Keith ps...Double XP includes XP, Valor, GSF, and Renown. It does not include Conquest points.
  3. Thanks Luke. My intention was to say hi, let you know SWTOR will be around for years to come, that we’ve had a lot of fun this past quarter with Onslaught, and now it’s time to move forward with 2020 starting with Game Update 6.1. So, scrapping my old post, here’s my new one: Hi SWTOR will be around for years to come (cuz we’re planning to release something big for our 10th anniversary) Onslaught continues to be a lot of fun, but we need to start providing updates – so on Feb 11th, we’ll release 6.1 (but that’s only one of many in 2020). Will get you more details about upcoming releases Hope to see you at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA 😊 ---Keith---
  4. Hey everyone, Happy 2020! It has been a little while since my last post and I wanted to kick the year off with a bit of an update. Before I do, I really want to say Thank You to everyone who has stayed with us and have joined us to play SWTOR. It’s been very exciting to see so many players on beginning and core worlds, participating with older expansion content, and joining us on Ossus, Onderon, Mek-Sha and Corellia. I continue to play the game a lot as I believe it’s vitally important to have the same type of experiences as our players. This enables me to leverage what I learn which helps guide future changes with our game. I know a big question on your mind is, what is coming next? Here is a quick look at my thoughts on what is coming soon, and in the future: Tomorrow! – The Umbaran Patrol Tauntaun will kick off of as a “February” sub-reward. Be a subscriber at any time before Feb 29, starting tomorrow, and you will have the Tauntaun waiting for you in your in-game inbox. Game Update 6.1 – Many of you had the chance to check out the Alderaan Stronghold and the upcoming class changes on PTS, and we really appreciate the feedback you provided. I am happy to announce (barring any emergencies), Game Update 6.1 will launch on Tuesday, February 11th. Game Update 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 – Our next two game updates are currently scheduled to be pretty quick on the heels of 6.1. You should expect to see these updates in the next couple of months after 6.1 is live. They will include some new quality of life changes for Conquests, more class changes, Master Mode Dxun, and more! Stay tuned to the PTS forum for more details on specifically what is coming in each update. 2020 – The team is working on a lot of exciting things for this year. We will really have a big focus on quality of life, updated stories, PvP improvements and much, much more. We want to ensure your time in SWTOR is very enjoyable by having plenty of activities, goals, and rewards. Star Wars Celebration- Right now we are also looking forward to this year’s SW Celebration! We are planning to have a Cantina there and would love to see you all in person. We’ll have some cool announcements, swag, and many SWTOR developers available for you to meet. 2021 – SWTOR’s 10th year! This seems like a great target to work towards doing something major…more to come, of course, but I wanted you to know we’re already starting to plan out the next few years. Again, thanks for playing SWTOR and helping us make it an awesome experience for so many new players. Respectfully, -Keith----------
  5. Hey everyone, It has been a while since I put out a post so I figured I would stop into the forums and get an update out to everyone. I’ll provide you with a brief update about what’s coming soon, but first and foremost want to address the issues we’ve been experiencing with our Tulak Hord server this past week. It’s being very stubborn and every time we think we have it nailed, it decides to kick some players from various areas in the game and won’t let them back in for a while. Not a great experience for anyone and I apologize we haven’t fixed it already. We believe it’s an intermittent hardware issue, making it difficult to isolate, so we’re rebuilding that server and will deploy a new one later tonight. We’re going to have to take the European servers down, but we’ll look to get it done while most of you are sleeping. We will let everyone know when we’ve completed the effort. Let’s talk about Onslaught! Like many of you, I have been really enjoying the expansion and all the changes we made for gearing. I now have quite a few toons up to level 75 and virtually all of them are at Item Rating 306. I’m spending time changing stats of individual items, playing around with amplifiers, and seeing what changes will make me feel OP. What feels good is being able to play anything in the game and benefiting from the new gearing system. I also have read many comments over the past couple weeks about areas you’d like to see changed, and as you’ll see starting with next week’s patch, we are addressing them and will continue refinements over the coming months. Keep the posts coming as they’ve been very helpful to the team. We are extremely pleased with the launch of the expansion. I don’t want to jinx it, but from the game standpoint, it has been very smooth with relatively minor issues all around (the Tulak Hord server being the exception). We fixed a number of bugs a week following the expansion and we have a number of additional bug fixes being released in next week’s patch likely on Thursday the 14th of November 2019. I know we usually release on Tuesday, but there’s a few items we want to include in this patch, so we gave the team an extra couple days. There is also a little surprise for everyone included with the patch, but we will let you know what’s up on Tuesday. Patch 6.0.2 will be our last update for 2019 and we’ll target its availability mid-December. It’ll have additional bug fixes along with the following: Life Day returns and has new items for you to enjoy. It’s our 8th year anniversary, so the vendor will have some new items. We’re adding new missions on Mek-Sha, including new heroics. You’ll be able to recruit Tharan for your Consular and as he says, “It’s Tharan, not spelled the dumb way”. Ranked Season 12 for our PvP players begins and winners from last season will get their well-deserved rewards. Crafting changes – it begins! Yes, we’re taking a hard look at crafting and will make some adjustments starting with this patch. We have Game Update 6.1 planned for early 2020 making its PTS debut in December. When we’re ready to have you take a look, I’ll share more details about the update and give you a glimpse into our future plans for SWTOR. Don’t forget Star Wars™ Celebration is planned for August and in Anaheim, California next year. We’re already making our plans to be there. Would be great to meet a bunch of you at the event! Thanks everyone for making Onslaught a success. Keep your thoughts, concerns, and ideas coming as those are an invaluable source of feedback for the team. Happy Holidays, Keith
  6. Hey all, It's been a while since I posted, but wanted to jump in and say yep, we've known about this area and had planned to fix it with the expansion. We typically don't include these types of changes in Patch Notes, but tbh, this snuck out with 5.10.3a. Since it's now effectively rolled out, we'll keep it in and will update the /slap message you're receiving when you are killing the poor bugs. What you are seeing isn't the final change, so we'll make additional adjustments in upcoming patches. Speaking of patches, we have a mid-summer update including the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife event (with new rewards) coming out soon. Most of the team is focused on the expansion and of course, what follows in the winter. See some of you at the Cantina in San Diego next month! Keith--- ps...I'm seeing double XP and double CXP in-game on my toons, so you might want to check again. It's typically visible on your experience/CXP bar on your UI.
  7. Musco...I can't believe you're telling them about Doc!
  8. You should be good now. Seems there was a network outage into a key EA Data Center that caused a variety of server issues. From what I can tell, there were sporadic issues for about two hours. Sorry this caused any inconvenience, but glad everything is good again. -Keith--
  9. Great question! Sorry to say it, but we'll still need the week. We'll use the time to shake out any remaining issues, make any critical adjustments, rebuild the update, test it again, then get it ready for release. Keith---
  10. I'm sure once the commerce maintenance is complete, we'll see pages and detail return to normal. When we know more, we'll provide additional information. ---Keith
  11. Please reach out to Customer Service as your specific issue doesn't appear related to the maintenance. Thanks, --Keith-
  12. So, as far as we can tell, this is related to an update happening with the commerce site. We didn't realize that maintenance would impact SWTOR and hence the surprise. We're working with the team to figure things out. This might take a while, but once we resolve it, we'll let you know. -Keith--
  13. Wow. Well, we obviously have an internal communications problem as we were only notified a few minutes ago. Let me see what I can find out and get some insight about what's going on. Keith---
  14. Based on our email conversations, you should now be all set and have all the missing coins added to your account. Apologies for it taking so long to get it resolved. Keith---
  15. This is great advice. If still have a Cartel Coin issue and you've only posted in this thread, but did not send an email or create a ticket, we won't have enough information to resolve your issue. I sincerely appreciate all the patience everyone has showed and communicated in their emails. The team is working hard to get them all addressed. We've made a ton of progress, so we should be done soon. --Keith-
  16. I wasn't trying to frustrate you, just wanted to make sure that I saw the request and helped get it handled. My sincerest apologies to everyone this impacted. We did resolve most of the issues, but we're working through all the emails and I hope to have them all processed today. -Keith--
  17. Please make sure to send an email to Community Support with all the details I requested earlier. It'll help us resolve the issue for you. Thanks, Keith
  18. It appears the 2,400 was recently granted to your account. You should be all set now. Keith---
  19. I didn't think you'd notice that we gave you the 5,500 Cartel Coins and immediately took them away. Seriously, we regranted the 5,500 coins so you should be good to go now. Keith---
  20. That's very likely as each request has to be reviewed. And, we're receiving much more than anticipated. For everyone submitting a request for assistance, and to speed up the investigation, please include your Account/Display Name, the amount of Coins purchased, what day you made the purchase, where you made it (e.g., our website or Amazon), and include the Amazon code(s) you used. That'll help a lot! Thanks, --Keith-
  21. Just email Community Support communitysupport@swtor.com the codes from Amazon and we'll get that resolved for you. Keith---
  22. Follow up! Glad to see some of you posting up that you've received your coins! For everyone who had the issue with purchased Cartel Coins, those have now been granted to your account. We're still reviewing all other transactions involving Cartel Coins and if we discover anything missing, we'll grant those additional coins. Just to be clear, this issue affected some players who purchased coins last Thursday the 7th of June and Friday the 8th of June, 2018. What happened was a change in our communications with our commerce system. Once we realized what was happening, we rolled back the change. What took time was identifying who purchased the Coins AND did not receive them. For everyone who submitted an email or a ticket this morning, please verify that you have received your coins. If you did receive them, please close the ticket and if you sent in an email, let us know if all is well or not. Thanks, Keith---
  23. Make sure you logged completely out of the game then restart the launcher and log back in. I checked your account and it shows you are subscribed, so you should be good to go. Keith---
  24. My Baaaad. The issue was resolved yesterday, but the Cartel Coin grants are in process! I misread the internal message about it. So, we will be bringing the servers up fairly soon and not everyone will have their coins. It will be resolved today and hopefully all done this morning. Once that completes, I'll post up another message. Should you find you did not receive the coins after my next message, send in a ticket or an email to Community Support. Sorry about that! Keith
