  1. There are a LOT of bugs in this FP. We couldn't complete it because of one. We beat the spider thing but then got sent back to the beginning of the train and couldn't get back off the train to loot the spider. One of the group members submitted a bug report and we waited in the FP for an hour with no response before finally giving up. The 2 turrents on the train kept putting me in combat mode even though we weren't attacking them. At one point I tried /stuck to get out of combat and it wouldn't let me rez. I spent at least 20 minutes in a dead but can't rez state. This is a terrible player experience. While we were waiting for a response on our ticket and were on the train at the beginning I got put in combat by the turrents yet was so many cars from them that I couldn't even see them. I had originally tried soloing veteran mode which I managed up until the first pair of bosses. And everytime I got to the battle with the guys on top of train right before you get to the 2 turrents the gold mob would disappear. I could only kill him by using an AOE attack. I saw this happen several times. It'd be nice if for all our trouble you guys allowed us to choose to buy the train SH instead of having to endure more of this FP just to earn the key to unlock it. I'm only doing the FP for the train SH anyway. I'd honestly rather just drop the credits on it.
  2. I totally agree. Clearly you guys recognize a lot of us want and like strongholds. But there does need to be equally more attention to decorations. That needs to be a discussion topic. Also there are at least 5 well contributed threads already on the forums with good ideas about decorations. Devs please read those and let's discuss how to make more decorations easier to get. Also I'm honestly shocked we're getting another stronghold so soon. Don't get me wrong if it's been done well I'm happy about it. But how little attention to detail that was obvious in the Manaan stronghold makes me concerned about this one. I'd rather more time spent doing them right than get several in a year.

  8. I just noticed that my Guild stronghold list is now showing the Guild ship twice and missing the Guild stronghold that we have on Yavin. See my screenshot
  9. The Selkath Officer can't be purchased for your guild but the other 2 Selkath personnel can be. I think this is a bug.

  13. I agree with what others have said. I am pretty good at decorating these Strongholds but it was impossible to decorate the Manaan stronghold well and get it to 100%. In order to get it to 100% I had to make my SH overcrowded. I've never had this issue in any of the strongholds and I have all of them. Manaan Stronghold issues and suggestions for improvement: These are my overall issues/solutions. Next I'll mention some specific places in the SH that need addressing. Issues 1. Too many open areas with no hooks, preventing us from spreading out decorations more and having more flexibility 2. Too few rooms, which makes it impossible to decorate this stronghold and not have it look crowded. 3. Many green hooks side by side that should be narrow blue to give us more flexibility 4. Proportion of outside to interior doesn't make sense especially since there are clearly other areas that exist already. 5. Location of SH exit is poorly placed. Solutions 1. Add more hooks preferably blue square or purple to give us more options. 2. We need at least two more rooms to make the interior seem appropriate. I do like the idea oh a hangar area off to the side where the ship hook is currently placed. 3. Convert all those green hook pairs to narrow blue bars for more options. 4. Again give us access to more of the already rendered stronghold especially the interior. 5. Get our feedback on where best to put that SH exit. Round platform at entry This area definitely needs more hooks it looks like it has room for more purples probably four more to fill in the current gaps. At the very least a square blue or two in the gaps between the purples would add more flexibility. Fountain areas along middle There are tons of green squares all down the inside of the two rows of fountains. While that does give us lots of hooks it'd be better if those very blue narrows all along so that we have options to be benches along there or convert them to green squares. Also we need the same amount of green squares on the outside of those fountains so we can place things on that side of the fountain. For example I'd like to have groups of NPCs along the inside area heading towards the doorway and some on the outer area of the fountain. Underwater side rooms In my opinion these two rooms are too small. But I understand that'd be much harder to change than to give us more interior regions elsewhere that have already been rendered. But it would be nice to at least get better hooks in there. Instead of so many green square give us blue squares all around the big centerpiece so we have more options of how to place things. Also I don't really understand how these rooms as small as they are warrant a centerpiece. That seems like a waste. Underwater main room We need more floor hooks here and again more of those green ones need to be at least blue narrow if not blue square. Also opposite the elevator we need a purple hook in place of those blue ones to give us a bit more options. I wanted to put a desk there but couldn't. Upstairs "garden" room Again this room needs way more hooks. Give us blue squares all around the center area and in place of the row of green squares give us blue narrow hooks. Down in the center area give us blue narrows next to the blue squares for more options. Bugs: 1. The ceiling hooks in the underwater rooms aren't ceiling hooks they are wall hooks 2. If you reset one of these side rooms it resets the entire Stronghold

I'm late to this thread and may say stuff already posted because coming in so late it would take me days to read the 80+ pages of comments so I apologize in advance if my comments have already been said many times over here. First thank you so much Keith for taking so much time to communicate with as and listen to us. As a web developer I can appreciate what a daunting task it can be to address the many needs of us your clients and I respect that you truly care about the well being of this game not just as someone paid to develop it but as someone who is playing it too. I have been playing since the game came out and taken breaks here and there but always came back. However I was starting to lose hope that this game would ever live up to the potential it has to be a truly amazing Star Wars gaming experience. You have renewed my hope and brought be back from the edge I was on. I was literally about to take a very long break from the game that I don't know I'd have come back from. But then I saw the new Manaan stronghold was about to be released and so I stuck around a few more weeks to check it out. I very much appreciate that you guys have recognized the purely story approach has left these other areas of game play unattended and a new stronghold makes me very happy. I've played many other MMOs and until this one I never found housing that truly allowed me to make the visions in my head of a specific role-play environment a reality. The current hook system isn't perfect but the way you guys have implemented it in all the other strongholds has been more than sufficient for me to put together well designed themed environments. However unlike all the other strongholds this one shows too many signs of it clearly being rushed to get out the door. I'd rather wait a few more months next time and be given more definite notice it was coming so that you guys could take a bit more time on it. I won't list all my issues with it here but I hope we'll have a discussion topic where it makes sense to address the glaring issues with hooks in this stronghold. I spend 90% of my time in game either role-playing or decorating themed strongholds for role-playing. Early on I dropped a lot of real money on cartel packs and thought every dollar was worth it. The last year or two the packs no longer seem worth the money. I am a subscriber so you are already getting money from me that way but if you could make the cartel packs worth the money you could get me to spend real money on those again. I know one person doesn't make a huge difference in the money that flows to pay for you guys to build this game but I bet there are others out there that feel the same way I do. So my questions are: 1. Is there plans to rethink the value we get for the packs? 2. And is there plans to create more themed packs that fit more of what someone might want or be willing to spend money on?
  15. As someone who has been playing since the game came out and spent 90% of the time role-playing and decorating themed strongholds for role-playing I second this. There are some things that I think aren't big but could really improve the QOL for SH decorating and make those of us that spend most of our time in the game focused on this happy and willing to spend more money on packs. There are also some very big problems I see with the recently released Manaan SH that I haven't really encountered much in the other SHs so please let's do have a discussion on Strongholds and decorations!   16. Please give us the ability to set a custom name for each of our strongholds. You guys allow us to do that with Guildships so it seems technically possible. I would gladly pay cartel coins for this ability. The SHs and decorations give players the ability to create some really cool looking locations, but we don't have the ability to give our SHs an equally unique name. For example my strongholds are these: Nar Shadaa - Noble Dragon Casino & Hotel Coruscant - Silver Splender Tower Yavin - Wings of Paradise Museum & Sanctuary The problem is despite the useful SH title's they don't convey what a lot of people's SHs really are especially for those of us that are role-players and spend a lot of time and thought on decorating to fit a location idea.

  18. I've been away from the game for over 6 months and just getting back on regularly again. I want to say thank you for all those "quality of life" improvements you guys did several months back. The increased limits on all that stuff are much appreciated. Also I'm loving the additional commemorative statues, medical related and armory related decorations. For those of us role-players out here we've been wanting those type decorations for a while so thank you! I don't know when you guys added the ability to buy previous cartel items you own for guild saved me tons of credits stocking my guild, so another thanks on that! I do have some suggestions: Quality of Life Increase stronghold key limit to 10. For us role-players 4 just isn't enough and just bumping it up 1 isn't enough either but 10 would be perfect and I doubt you'd get many key limit complaints after that. Strongholds Yavin has quite a few hooks that are floating in the air in the back part of the stronghold that could use fixing. Guild flagship (republic) has a medium hook on left side of bridge entrance that has a second medium hook on top of it. Tatooine could use some more hooks added in the open areas so you don't have to overcrowd the SH to hit 100%. Cartel Packs One new NPC decorations in every pack would be awesome! We haven't gotten many new NPC decorations in last 6 months. I would settle for 1 in every other pack but every pack would be ideal. Stronghold titles were an awesome thing you guys added would love to see more of those added in packs. Maybe one every 2-3 packs. I'm still waiting for a Casino SH title and would love a Archaelogical or Safe Haven type title as well. Ship crew type NPCs would be really nice. That's the only decoration I would have liked for my guild flagship that isn't yet available .

  20. I guess you could say I do. I had a guild with just me and 2 others that went inactive. Now its down to just me and one of those friends and because I had nothing else to spend my credits on I bought a flagship last week. Its not opened up yet but what you get initially is all decorated.
  21. Yes please! I'm tired of it raining on DK. And it always being day/sunny on Coruscant. Even minor changes to this would suffice for now. Oh and I love the ambience decorations but would like them to stay on once activated and not go off unless you turn them off.

Quick Information Host: Starbuorg (Republic) Who: Anyone What: Social RP Where: Starbuorg's Vacation Retreat (Yavin IV Public Directory) When: Friday, July 31 @ 9pm EST My SH is public but you can also get a silver key if you are coming with a guild or group and would like to invite others to it. Contact me in game for a key. Also for anyone wanting to come on a Imperial character let me know in advance and I'll get you a key from one of my Imp characters since it'll only show up for Republic chars in the directory. Additional Details The main building is the museum. The entry room is a gallery. The side room with the water fall is the wildlife room. IC those animals in it are stuffed not real. The other side room shows off items from 4 planets. In the basement is storage for the museum. The balcony area above the main room shows of datacrons from both sides and has some flags along the walls. That's it for the museum part of the place. Then on top of the building are lots of sitting areas. The two other buildings are the data center / library and the medical center. Around the medical center are several groups of refugee camps. This location is a sanctuary for anyone that needs it and so there are lots of refugees here. There are medics checking the refugees over to make sure they are all okay. There are also lots of Jedi around the place as well as a few Revanites. Part of my idea with this SH is that when the next expansion comes out that jumps us ahead 5 years and both sides have been beaten badly, this would serve as a sanctuary for both sides and again for anyone that needs it. For in game scene setting /cjoin wingsparadise Event Premise Starbuorg Silvera owner of Silvera Industries and Silvera Expeditions has opened a museum and sanctuary of Yavin IV. All are welcome to visit and those that need a safe place to stay for a while are welcome to seek refuge here. Visitors will arrive by shuttle and directed to come on into the museum and look around. As already described the grounds is made up of the following buildings: museum (main building), data center / library, and medical center. There is also a large outdoor dining area and combat arena. Visitors are allowed to carry weapons but advised to keep combat to the combat arena. There are numerous guards posted around the grounds. Although this is a sanctuary for all there is a strong Republic presence including many of the guards and numerous Jedi. So if you are an Imperial and you come you are expected to behave peacefully while here. The combat area is the only area where fighting is permitted. It is for training refugees to defend themselves and for anyone else that would like to hone their skills more. To the death fights are not allowed. The museum exhibits focus mostly on ancient technologies and cultural artifacts. The data center / library has a vast amount of data on both Republic and Imperial planets and cultures. It rivals even the library on Tython. Star has worked hard using her royal status and money to acquire as much information as she can and make it available as part of this museum for others to access. The medical facility is state of the art and includes vast medical research in its own data center / library. A public advertisement would be posted on all news networks announcing the event and providing the details for attending, so anyone would be able to find out about this event and attend.
  25. I bought it and the main bugs I'm seeing are floating hooks ... not a major deal and they'll fix it soon I'm sure. Mine is fully decorated now ... took me 16 hrs of work to do... but that's the only bugs I'm seeing in this place. So personally I'd recommend to anyone on the fence to just go for it and buy it if you want it.
