  1. Well to be fair, Han never engaged Darth Vader in single-combat. (Or group combat really. He got a pot-shot off in TESB). But he was instrumental to the Alliance and Luke for sure.
  2. That's what I really thought it was going to be like. Very Force-Focused in terms of story, leaving Non-Force Sensitives to be kind of... "Why am I the one doing this?".
  3. So I'm pretty excited to play through the new story. I have level 60's across the board, so I want to know your opinion: Which class do you think has the best play through of the story?
  4. From your PC specs, it looks like it's a 5 year old rig. (And I'm praying it's an actual Rig and not a Laptop) With that said, it's your graphics card that needs an upgrade. Your RAM and CPU should be just fine.
  5. I recently came back from a hiatus of TOR to play some new MMOs and other games that came on the market, but I recently came back and created a new character, and couldn't help notice my framerate was at an all-time high! Now, before I took a break from TOR (Maybe 3-4 months ago) my FPS was running at 30-40FPS, now I'm running at a smooth 60. Mind you, I haven't updated any of my hardware. (However I have a few new NVIDIA drivers, but I highly doubt that's the reasoning behind the FPS boost.) Anybody else experiencing better performance?
  6. I wouldn't mind minor quests just have a dialogue box. However, for planet storylines and Class storylines I fully believe VO is the way to go. But for the 'go kill so many of these, bla blah blah' I could care less about your reasoning.
  7. inb4 'If they valued their customers, they'd give us something free too.' It baffles me as to why if someone get's something for free that you paid for, you ultimately demand it, or something of equal value yourself? It's like paying for a movie on DVD then demanding your money back once it gets on Television later. So why do you deserve anything? You bought the 'DVD'. It's yours. Now someone else can go watch TV and have it to enjoy themselves for free. The only difference is, you had it first. What's the deal? You don't like Capitalism? /endrant
  8. A Business thats trying to make money? You don't say?!
  9. Actually, Voice Actors are cheap. And the VOs themselves are extremely cheap. All they pay for is yhe electricity. (Assuming they have their own studio, which I'll assume yes). The only real tasking part of the production is the Editing and Coding into cutscenes. Ontop of animations. But Voice Overs are simple. They're not the problem here.
  10. Damn you Community for wanting a Fair and Equal Gameplay Experience!!!!! Socialists I tell you! SOCIALISTS!
  11. Yes, I DEMAND my four-hours of game-time BACK! How about we give you the 48.03 cents (Exactly) that you just lost.
  12. They were actually called 'Clone Commanders'. But technicalities aside, the only issue I see is creating the animations. Which would be very painstaking.
  13. Everyone simply has a Debuff of 99% Total Health called 'Lucas'. However, Luke and Han were level 32 and they had high dodge/block %s. Storm Troopers are only level ten.
  14. I guess that's why Blizzard and other Triple A companies choose not to support Macintosh. As stated in early dev blogs pre-beta; The game runs off a mutated version of the Hero Engine. The Hero Engine itself, supports every OS on the market. http://wiki.heroengine.com/wiki/HeroEngine_Roadmap
  15. Now being an owner of both a Mac and PC, both can make formidable gaming rigs, however SWTOR only supports PC Client. The big move to F2P was to include all those who didn't want to pay their monthly sub and was to bring more people back to the game. Expanding the horizons, essentially. So why not the Mac Client? If the Hero Engine is really that terrible that it can't code to Mac, we have an issue here. Macintosh is a Market as well. (P.S: Bootcamping is NOT a pleasurable process just to play one game.)
  16. They were more or less a hype ploy to get people interested in the game. In reality, any animation of that quality is extremely expensive. We're talking pixar-animation here. They simply don't have the money to spare for something that won't bring any or as much benefit. For an expansion, certainly.
