Does Bioware really not have anyone on payroll who can keep this sort of garbage from being littered across the boards? 0_o

If you want a melee character that uses melee attacks in addition to the force then you should reroll a Jedi Shadow. Just my .02c though.

This statement is a mixture of flat out false comments and half-truths. First, yes the shadow AC is not for everyone...same could technically be said about any of the AC's. Second, they're just as good if not better than every other tanking AC out there....period. I've been a jedi shadow tank during the beta for nearly a year....I assure you, they're more than acceptable when it comes to tanking. I dont see that changing anytime soon.

I know that during my months of beta testing, the darkside/lightside tiered gear was relatively significant (at least from my viewpoint). I know that, because of this, my decisions were strongly biased towards the tiers of ds/ls points.... Has anything changed in that regards? I'd love to go down the center, sticking with light side options here and there, and darkside options where I so choose without the fear of my character's alignment falling too low in that particular tier (if that makes any sense what so ever). Meh its been a long day, hopefully this question makes some form of sense to everyone.

For what its worth, I just built my own budget gaming rig with an AMD Phenom II X4 960T Zosma CPU (came with 8 gigs of ram as part of a bundle for like 120 bucks) along with a Nvidia 560ti 1gb. It runs this game with everything maxed out, AA forced in the config file, and EASILY gets a steady 60-110fps. Never dips below 50....built it all for just under 700 bucks!
