  1. Some have been fixed since this problem was introduced. But I still found 2 yesterday : - Metabolic Enhancement Agent - Artificial Microbe Thank you Devs for fixing them and hope you get thru the list sooner than later.
  2. Just adding to your list : - Firkrann Crystal - Mutagenic Paste - Turadium - Power Tube
  3. Yup bug since the crafting changes... No choice to buy from vendors from the time being.
  4. My is Bounty hunter bugged. First the mission "Settling Accounts" that bugs-out and refuses to acknowledge that it is completed. --> Still not fixed/no fix to this date... and if anyone has info on it, let me know. Then Mr. Cadera which joins but is gone and non-selectable. Thanks for the fact the patch will fix it... Better late than never.
  5. Way to much experience period. I posted a solution on the general chat and got a lot of ppl telling me to put it here. so here goes. All that is needed is a series of items to slowdown experience gain... say -20/-40/-60/-80 and -100%. You buy them at the fleet from the creature (same one that sold the x12 removal). Or just a slider bar in the settings where you set it to where you want it. Why ? not everyone want to earn less XP, some just want instant level 60 or as fast leveling as possible. I am not of their kind tho, I like to do the planets in detail, do all extra contents, fight a few flashpoints/ship battles and craft a bit before heading to the next planet. I like experimenting the content as it balanced to be experienced... There, I've done my good deed for ppl in the game. Hopefully this suggestion will find it's way to the devs. Thank you all, and good night !
  6. Interesting... so you're saying that instead of capping at 3 skills you should cap at 5 skills per character, but you should only be allowed 2 craft skills ? This is even bolder than what the OP and myself wanted. (Well okay, not 3 craft skills like we both wanted, but still)...
  7. Hey all I've first seen this idea in a thread on this forum in 2012. I was not the one who originally posted this but I always supported this idea and am saddened that in 2015 (I reactivated my account) it is still not implemented. Basically, the crafting interface for gear/mods/etc is a bit messy, and with the following screenshot will explain this amazing Quality of Life improvement ! http://i.imgur.com/UbM1Svs.jpg As you can see it reworks the interface in such a way that with a simple mouse over you can check all the stats for every discovered schematics, more than that by the fact that they are shaded or not, you know with a quick look if you've researched all the schematics and which ones are already researched. A simple click selects the item you wan to make, and you click craft, as usual. Easy, convenient, and tidy. All you could hope for as a crafter. This is why I'd like to resubmit the idea in the hopes that it'll get implemented ! Thank You ! [ Edit: so no pictures allowed I see... oh well, just click the link it's an imgur link ]
  8. Completely agreed with the OP. At least give it as an option to cartel for it. heck I'd pay 20-50$ for this alone as it would make my life much easier. It's a QoL improvement thing. I already have all craftskills on multiple toons, I already am doing all stories, I just don't want the endless swapping between characters when I go into a crafting spree. And yeah, I'd have a character with Artifice-Cybertech-Biochem and another with Arnstech-Armormech-Sythweaving then I'd need support characters for all the mission/gathering required to keep everything afloat... So ppl would still see the stories. But keeping this behind a paywall is perfect, not everyone will do it, and more convenience to ppl that want to do it... Heck I'd have to recraft/relearn my way thru to level 55 so that's a lot of time (for me) playing the game and not getting bored. I hope the Devs will reconsider it. Thank You !
  9. weekly bump, because this Idea makes so much sense... Please at least click the link and consider it BioWare... Here it is, so you dont have to search all the posts in here : http://twitpic.com/9k48p0/full Thank you ! -- Francois424
  10. Lost all of mines... Had to replace letters with ASCII tables (such as à, ù, and ì) to keep them. Very annoying, but at least I got to keep the "spirit of the name" What's with these games putting names as primary identifier these days... Back in 1997 games like Ultima Online didnt have any issues. Of course it'd be less painfull if the guy/gal that took my name actually PLAYED (yes I know, what a concept), but Noooo. They don't use the action house at any rate, nor PvP, and I've never been able to /tell anyone of them either. It sucks. But until something is done (if ever), I'll have to make due with ascii-weirded names.
  11. /agreed. The best Idea to date was from a link someone posted in one of my suggestion for the same thing to happen. But I'll take anything to sort this mess out; it's utterly annoying.
  12. If by the title you mean: create your own companion (ie: new companion with unique abilities and the likes), then I would go about making one special for trooper. Trooper has a huge advantage over the other already; all your geat (or almost) is shard from your main, as all companions uses AIM as main stat as well. But I can't help imagining a healing-tank (call it paladin if you want). I would give it Strength as Main stat, and make him a Nautolan. One of his stances would be "Spiteful Healing" (All healing done generate 100% more hate, the other one "Protective Healing" (Each Heaing performed adds 5 more armor, stacks 5 times). He would be a pessimist, that had too many bad luck in his life (mutiple massive layoffs for jobs, never managed to keep a GirlFriend, was conned for most of his money at once... that would make someone into a pessimist). He carries no love of governements, which he thinks are a waste of money. On the bright side, he's got a knack for feeling his way out of tough situations and beside his attitude benefit from a great reputation as hard working individual. His gear choice would be one-handed Lightsaber with shields (he got his Magenta-LightSaber as a gift from his ex-Girlfriend, and found the weapon more appropriate for his figthing style, and keeps using it even if he is no sith/jedi; that also created some enmitty with some jedis that thinks he dosent deserve the honnor of using such a fine weapon. He would wear Heavy armor (obviously), but a cloak one. You could meet him on some future planet that would be added, or from a new personal story on an enemy planet (say you could go on Drummund Kaas with republic, for this mission only), and he ends up saving your butt over and over, until he joins you. His alignment would be neutral, but ou would gain affection for agreeing with NPCs that life is unfair (he could relate as he complained about it from time to time). Greatest affection gain would be for those situation where the player sacrifice his/herself for the better good (ie: turning yourself in to save Innocents, sacrificing great personal gains (recognition or promotions) to save an evil-aligned NPC from unfair demise, etc. Why this companion ? Something different, more into the grey shades and not all bad, or all good. Should be mini-romanceable, and rather shy in those situation; not a ladies-man, heh.
  13. Weekly Bump of this great Idea, not the original format I posted, but rather the other one (check the link out, it's worth it). But to summ it up for ppl that dont open the link, it's a modification to the way stuff are displayed and aligned as far as receipy book goes. G=Green, B=Blue, P=Purple . . / B - P P P P P G - B - P P P P P . . \ B - P P P P P where you see the icon for the item, and when you click i it updates the information window. It also makes it far cleaner than my original Idea. Please consider this BW, as a crafter this is the greatesr Idea Yet. Have a nice week, all -- Francois424
  14. Or stop nerfing them for a start, make people not want to play them.
  15. Not to mention it might speed the original polling of the receipy book, which can be... a few seconds of waiting after some point.
  16. You know what, this is pretty neat. Not what I had in mind, but I'm good for that as well ! I'll sign it =)
  17. I was wondering the same thing... Would be very nice if something like that was put in.
  18. Now none of the ideas I am about to post are game-breakers. They are mere annoyances. That being said, here is the list of them that I would like to have addressed, call them "Quality of life" improvements if you will: #1- Crafting list Ordering. This has got to be the most important one for me, THE most annoying. I'm the kind of guy that like to have all receipies learned, so I RE everything and purchase everything I can find. It dosent take to long for the crafting llist to get messy and hard to navigate thru. I've already covered my Ideal way of fixing it in this thread : http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=483985. Now last time I made this suggestion was 2 weeks ago and we've just got patch 1.3 which did wonders for augments. But if nothing elses, it stresses even more the importance of getting this idea in the game. Now I can't be sure, but it has to be an easy one to implement as it only concerns display issues. I really, really want this one in the game as soon as possible. #2- Limited Misison's list for Companion. Say I need to make a lot of Level 4 Investigation compounds, I go in the appropriate list and try to run a few. The only problem is that not all of the missions are listed in there, and sometimes there can only be Gifts or other things in there. The current solution to bypass this problem is either to zone, logout/login, or run something else with the hopes the missions you really want decides to show up in there. Sometimes it can easily take 3-5 logins before you get the ones you want. Again, not game-breaker, but very annoying. My suggestion? Jut put all of the available missions in there to pick from. Just sort them by category (ie: Researched Compounds, Gifts, etc) then by prices. Just doing that will fix the problem right away. #3- Inconsistant Companions' Voice Volume. This has been introduced in 1.2 and still isn't fixed as of patch 1.3. Now I'm no programmer, but I'm pretty sure this probleme appeared when the 3d-Sound feature was added (in 1.2 as well). If you zoom close to your character, and give gifts over and over to your companion while rotating the camera, you'll see what I mean. This problem is also 100% present on your spaceship, and you just have to move away from the compation you're sending to mission (or is comming back from) to see it happening. Companion speech should always be treated as If they where standing a foot away, right in front of me. Now that one is annoying, but I wouldn't put it first in line to be fixed. #4- Companions that keep their weapons out. Again a minor one, but still annoying. It happens a lot, on the fleet or anywhare actually. If I am not in combat, or if I press "Z" to sheat my weapon(s), then the companions should do the same. It gets annoying after a while to see Ashara's twin-Lightsabers or Jorgan's custom-made 6 feet long cannon all the time. Something to take care of eventually. #5- Why only one craftSkill ? I want three on my character !. This is an annoyance to me; You can pick any number of anything, except craft skills. Now since the GTN merge and all the servers transfers, the economy is booming and a whole lot of ressources are available on the GTN. Back when GTNs where not used or on an empty server, I can understand somewhat the limitation of one craftskill. But now... I think that limit should be waved. If someone wants to take ArmsTech, ArmorMech and Synthweaving, why not let them do it. If anything they'll be playing the GTN and keeping the economy healthy. I think that's pretty easy one to fix as well, no ? #6- Names, ASCII table, and Server transfers. Ok, Ok, it has been beaten to death on the forums; but I still can't let it pass. Actually I was rather lucky, by adding ascii letters such as ù, ô, û, ø, I was able to retain the spirit of my names, but others weren't so lucky. My suggestion is two-fold. First, make it so that everyone have their hidden account name as their middle name. That would mean that you would have say, Oberon@Francois424, or Titania@Francois424, where the "Francois424" is an account name. That would allow copies of the exact same names on the server, without any limits whatsoever (you could have Oberon@Iamgod555 as well). To note that I've never, EVER met any Oberon or Titania on any servers where the names were taken, nor Have I seen their names on the GTN, or in PvP matches. Chances would be slim of it occuring, and even if it did, would not be that much of a deal. This has worked for some older games such as Ultima Online (1997), so we know it will work. Then comes the second part of my plan, when the 1rst part is done and effective, provide free name changes to everyone. You can actually guess how much this would make people happy (myself included, of course). That's it for the ideas, I hope you've enjoyed the read, and wish you a nice evening all. (Note: I might edit this post for clarity or spelling a couple times, it's late and I make mistakes, heh) -- Francois424
  19. IMHO, the advantages of being on a High pop server are better than the ones of being alone. But the main reason for me was the economy. I burn thru credits like nothing, and game rewards are pathetic unless you do dailies which is only 100k per day. At least with the AH I could easily triple that in a day if I have time, as I am not capped by the amount of dailies I can do. Once upon a time, I was on a dead server too (that is way before transfers), and I was doing fine... until they nerfed slicing to hell and beyond. That was a cheapp move from BW, that I still dont agree with ! But since, I've been slaved to the GTN.
  20. IMHO, this is a great Idea. Ppl have time to waste, so they pick it up and give it a wirl. Then they might get hooked and decide to join our community. It's a great business model, and level15, even as a total newb without help and limited playtime can get there in a week.
  21. PLEASE ! I'm someone that likes to develop all receipies overtime and this list is awefull ! I did ask for it in suggestion box about a month ago, but I did a seach to find it, and it appears it is gone. No matter I'll put it again as I think it would be a great boon for crafters. Here's an example of how I see it fixed : Also, but minor, could we make it so the list can be on sort by level when openning it ?(or a savable toggle somewhere) ? If not no biggies, but I always use the by level. Thanks for reading -- Francois424
  22. I had unsubbed 2 weeks ago, and still have up to the 18th of June... Then transfers occured. Now with those (Assuming Mind Trick get some love), it is soilving the population issue, which bars one of my top 5 annoyances with the game. I would even say it was one of the top 2 reasons. So I'm going to re-subscribe for anotehr month at least and we'll see how t's going to go from there. But I still have annoyances I wan to get fixed, and some of them are minor, but get on my nerves. The game is excellent, and I would still recomment it to my friend in a snap. Keep fixing it BW, you're getting it ! Here are few exemple of annoying things that if gone, would vastly improve the game for me : ( Skip if you aren't interested. ) #1 Now if we could get those crafting receipy Sorted (For ...'s sake, please use indentation... Theire's a gazillion receipies, and what is the upgrade of what can take some time to sort thru, as I like unlocking EVERY receipies (yeah i'm like that), it's hugely annoying. Also make it so you can memorise the "By Level" option, so we dont have to click it each time. Here's a example of How I see this fixed : #2 Fix the companion sound issue. All I can guess about this bug (which started in 1.2 or so) is that it sounds like a bug with "3D/Surround sound". It seems to mess up the distances so that character sounds very much far away when they arent, and seriously anyways, make a damn checkbox to toggle that option. It's annoying anyways. The sound on the fleet seems to be fixed or almost... Good thing. #3 Crew Missions... Mostly with Underworld Trading, but does occur on some other. When you want METAL missions, you dont want to have to run a couple of Gift/Fabric missions, or logout/login 5 times to get them. It's annoying as well. You have a scrollbar on the right, open up more mission slot, or modify the code so at the very least, you always have 2 missions of each type. Those are some of my top 5 that I want adressed. your mieage may vary, but I do like to craft my own s**t, and that's the most annoyng things. I still don't accept the slicing nerf (Box where giving roughly 10k/hour per character, which was pretty nice alternative to AH) but meh, looks like it's not going to get restored. But that's more of a pet peeve than a top 5 annoyances' list. Good night all. -- Francois424
  23. I still have sound issue regarding companion speech. This occured when they turnesd on the surround sound I think. All it needs is a checkbox to turn it off and it'll fix it. Funny enough, the fleet sound bug occured at just about the same time. We need that damn checkbox... Should they ever get around to do that.
