  1. I'll have to try out a build like that once I can run premades and have reliable back-up when needed. Thanks for the info.
  2. Maybe I missed the trinket that provided force power? Or the biochem adrenal that gave force power? Or the enhancements/mods with force power? I'll double check whenever I get back onto the game. Now when it comes to where power stands in relations to surge/crit in PvP is something I really don't know about.
  3. lolwut? Power does increase force damage, just not to the same level that force power increases force damage. Sadly idk what the ratio from one to the other is.
  4. 2. Seriously? *Everything* I see seems to point to madness as being the vastly superior spec. 4. Wasn't sure if surge/crit stacking was what sorcs were supposed to do or throw in a decent amount of power as well.
  5. Well, you've struck my curiosity and as such I now have a few questions for you: 1. Were you running w/ a premade? 2. What build are you running 3. How's your gear? 4. What stats are you using to fill your mod/enhancement slots on your gear
  6. For a hybrid PvP build, what stats do you think should take priority? Obviously expertise is the god of PvP stats, but after that what comes next between power/crit/surge/alacrity? Here's the build I'm running atm: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201ZbsMrdMdZcrcRsMk.1 Not quite as much damage output as possible due to being replaced by a little more utility and control.
  7. Normally, I would say sure. Buuuuuuuuuut I'm thinking that I might try to put something together in a thread of my own. No, it won't be a guide due to the fact that I don't quite have the credentials for everything I say to be trusted nor due I know enough for my word to be law, but it will be something to get people pointed in the right direction. Here's a rough outline of what I'm thinking of covering: I. Introductions and Sith Sorcerer PvP Overview II. Hybrid Builds a. Survivability/Utility Build b. Damage Optomization Build III. "Rotation" - more or less IV. Stat Priority V. 1v1 Tactics VI. Frequently Asked Questions VIIThings to Keep In Mind VIII. PvP Video IX. Closing Remarks If there's anything else that you think I should maybe go over or any suggestions then let me know.
  8. I hit a 2.6k crit on my lvl 12 operative in warzone earlier (self-buffed) so what the person said isn't completely unreasonable. =P EDIT: The chain-stun that he claimed made no sense though. >_>
  9. You sir, do not know how much lightning strike hits for.

    Interrupt Delay?

It hurts me to have to ignore the one ability that'll give me an actual chance at surviving BH/Trooper damage. =P

    Interrupt Delay?

On the bright side, that was very informative in regards to letting me know if other people's interrupts lag as well. Thanks for the input.

    Interrupt Delay?

    Shameless bump for answers.

    Interrupt Delay?

I'm not really sure if this is experienced by multiple people or just myself, but I'm curious. Almost *every* time that I try to interrupt an ability, it takes a good .5-1.5 seconds to actually go off. And as I'm sure many of you know, in PvP, that can be huge. Example that seems to occur the most: Bounty hunter/trooper starts spamming tracer missile/grav shot. I'm like "lololol jolt". Game system says "jk wait til he's done casting til I initialize the interrupt". Interrupt misses. BH/Trooper lulz. Continue tracer missile/grav shot spam. I die to spam. Usually I wouldn't be like "amg leh q.q" if it happened every once in a while, buuuut again, it happens pretty much all the time. Bearing in mind the fact that those classes plague my server, it becomes mildly frustrating.
  14. Trooper or bounty hunter, not an operative. Regardless of their cc/damage output, if you keyboard turn as an operative you'll do god awful in PvP.
  15. No. Keybinds will help. There isn't any room to doubt that. =P By the time it takes you to recognize something and react by simply moving a finger from muscle memory, you only would've started moving your mouse as a clicker. That being said, the reaction time for keybinds makes a great difference in PvP. It's honestly very easy to tell when you're fighting against somebody that is either: a) A clicker b) A keyboard turner
  16. Enough people are already complaining about sith sorcs and their supposed burst. Don't give them more ideas on what to "LOLOPNERF" about.
  17. Sadly the whole 15 minutes thing hasn't been working. This has been going on for the last 3 hours, and only 2 ques worked the entire time.
  18. lolwut. In regards to server imbalance, I tend to get alderaan/voidstar pretty often. In regards to it not being a bug.... an error message referring to server admins means working as intended? Sure thing.
  19. Bump, for the Fatman isn't pleased. You won't like the Fatman when he isn't pleased. He eats babies.
  20. Now I'm not sure if any other server has this issue seeing as I only play on the Fatman, but an issue that occurs multiple times a day server-wide (or at least on empire..) is that when we que for warzones, the que pops instantly and we are logged out of the game. This will go on for a good 10-20 minutes before it stops at which point we can get a few more games in.. and then it happens again. So I'm curious! Is this happening on servers other than ours..? If so is it server-wide and do you have any idea on how to fix it on an individual basis? EDIT: You can only see it for a second so I only see part of it, but there's an error that comes up in red letters that says [server Admin]: Permission to enter PvP area on he1025. Access denied: could not move player.
  21. Lolll no the reason I was mostly damage done in there is because I'm recording my warzones so I can pull clips of games to put a video together to show people the viability of the hybrid spec via actual PvP. And I do agree w/ some of the OP's points but again, I think he doesn't put enough emphasis on the value of utility/control. ----------- And to the individual who asked for a separate link, it looks like torhead was fixed: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201ZbsMrdRrZcrcRsM.1
  22. It does respect resolve? Or at least I know overload does. I tested it out multiple times to find out if it was the knockback or the root (from speccing into it) that increased the resolve meter. a) I tried it once w/ no resolve, and the meter went up which showed that some portion of it did apply. b) I tried again after the resolve meter was full and the player was not knocked back but the root was still applied. A + B = overload being subject to resolve. ...Unless I'm terrible at math, which is quite possible.
  23. http://torguild.net/calculator/sith-inquisitor/sorcerer/?p=000000000000000000002312022122122000003022202131201000000 That's the hybrid I'm rolling with (since torhead seems to be broken atm).
  24. It looks like torhead is bugged atm, but here's my build from a different site: http://torguild.net/calculator/sith-inquisitor/sorcerer/?p=000000000000000000002312022122122000003022202131201000000
