  1. EVERY SINGLE idea on here is beyond excellent in my opinion. And I agree with whoever said, "can this post get a sticky?" Yes, please, can it get one?
  2. Being that it's my lunch hour I'm only reading a few of these posts. But yeah, sounds like it was as serious issue with someone on your team. But I can understand where you're coming from about some short on indicator. It's a good idea and one I think should be looked in to. I don't like sitting through cut-scenes I've already been through with the same or another character. So I can understand when being in a group wanting to get through them as fast as possible. Good idea.
  3. That's good. I know a lot of people (including myself) have been begging for them. They've also been begging for space to be "off the rail" so I hope they do that soon also.
  4. I don't think there needs to be an option for that with the story line, but it would be nice to have a solo-option for some of the flashpoints/operations, even heroics possibly. Sometimes it is difficult to get a group together (even with group finder) and when you finally do, it's too late and you have to go to bed to be at work the next day.
  5. Yeah, I was about to make something for another one of my characters and I forgot these things bind on pickup (or after crafting them as is the case). Like mentioned above, things are handed down through the years all the time. Why can't that be reflected with the craftable Rakata gear? I hope they do this, because it sounds like I'm not the only one (or even the only one posting about this) that feels this way.
  6. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet or not. It would be great if the Rakata gear you can craft would bind to legacy and not bind on pick up (or bind after you crafted it) to your character. I would love to share this gear amongst my other level 50 characters. Anyone else agree?
  7. I'm all for these. Our guild like to RP sometimes and it would be nice to have all of these options open. Great suggestions and I support them 1000%!
  8. I loved the SWG crafting system, and no it WASN'T too detailed, it was perfect, the way crafting in games should be. If SWTOR could implement something like that, crafting would be great. Not sure about perfect, but great.
  9. I'd pay to play it again only if they went pre-CU.
  10. I especially like the idea I bolded up above. I remember playing the SW:KOTOR games and if your character went light or dark, you companions' abilities reflected that. Great idea and I would love to see this happen. Also, when you speak to your companion, the choices in the conversations you have with them should reflect that in the affection gains. For examples, we know that with Sith Warrior, Vette is pretty much a light side character and the conversations with her reflect that, ALWAYS. It would be nice to get her, and others, to fall to the dark side with you and have that reflected in the affection gains. (I hope that makes sense.) Also, how about a companion that you can turn into a force sensitive then eventually into a Jedi or Sith along with you? I remember one of the characters (maybe more) in KOTOR 2 having this option, but can't remember his name.
  11. I fully support his idea. Instead of having them on one planet or two (Republic and Imperial planets), have instances on existing planets for them. I would love to have an apartment on Nar Shaddaa, for example, for both my Imperial and Republic characters.
  12. I completely agree with this. A lot of the level 50 craft-able armor is junk once you find better stuff doing flashpoint, operations, etc. However that armor is not the look myself, and obviously other players, want. This would make a huge improvement in my eyes.
  13. It sounds like this is becoming a real issue, just not with me, but with other players on other PvE servers as well. I have been speaking with support about this issue and after about 5 emails back and forth I FINALLY got it escalated because this is an obvious exploit on PvE servers. And I completely agree. If these "trash talkers" want to do PvP, then be on a PvP server and leave the ones that just want to play the game their own way (PvE) alone. And it is a total violation of the rules to being with. Again, I'm not trying to sound like a "cry-baby," but the rules specifically state "if you want to fight other players (PvP), fights must be consensual and in designated areas of the world." I hope they fix this exploit soon.
  14. I love this idea, but I agree that number of guild members shouldn't be a limiting factor either. I'm in a small guild myself (only 12 characters) and we don't recruit because we all know each other, mostly family. I say keep it to a minimum of four character and have a choice to add more like the operations.
  15. I like this idea. I'm sending my Jedi Knight down the dark side and wouldn't mind her looking more like a Sith instead of a Jedi. Good suggestion and I hope they do consider it.
  16. I haven't been on the forums much at all even though I've been playing the game since pre-launch and was a beta tester. However, from what I've read so far, I've seen a lot a great ideas from players that should be implemented. I think I have narrowed down the top five suggestions in my opinion (in no particular order). 1.) "Off the rail" space combat & customizable ships. Yes, we understand that space combat is a mini-game, however it's extremely boring just guiding your ship with the mouse and occasionally hitting the space bar to do a barrel roll. Space needs to be more sandbox-like, something like SWG had would be great in this game. 2.) Homes/apartments, ability to customize (decorate) homes/apartments. I for one love this idea. I have played many MMORPGs and there was something about having a home for your character that made you feel more "engaged" in the game. I don't know how to describe it, but it just made the game all that more fun. (I would love for my character(s) to have an apartment on Nar Shaddaa). 3.) Sandbox planets/areas. I believe we all agree that once you hit level 50 there isn't much to do for income beside dailies, operations and flashpoints. These get very repetitive and boring after a while. These areas could have different terminals for different types of missions. For example hunting, killing opposing faction NPCs, random flashpoints for both solo-players and groups, etc. 4.) Customizable armor/ability to paint armor. While I like the idea of "unifying the colors" my character is wearing, I see most everyone with the same armor and the same color. It would be nice if I could paint the armor to look anyway I wanted so everyone doesn't look the same. 5.) Race tracks. This could be a great mini-game in it's self and could even have an option to bet on the races. Characters could either partake in the races, or be spectators and bet on who's going to win. There are many more great ideas, but these are the top 5 that I like. What are your thoughts or your own top 5 that you've seen? What else would you like to see? Anything you would like to expand on in my top 5 picks?
  17. I completely agree! This game NEEDS sandbox content to get away from repeating the same daily missions, operations and flashpoints over and over and over again once you hit level 50. Sandbox planets would be a great addition to this game. You could even have a chance to earn "sandbox" coins to purchase better gear for your character.
  18. I agree, but keep the stupid Rakghouls and plagues out of the equation please.
  19. I agree. All these are great suggestions and should be implemented. Space especially needs a major overhaul. It needs be more "off the rail," allowing up to customize and upgrade our ships the way we want, kind of like SWG had. Another thing I would suggest is make the PvE servers TRUELY PvE. I don't like the fact that a character that is flagged for PvE can either attack my companion and somehow force my character, who is not flagged for PvP, forced in to a PvP fight. You can still have the war zones and such, but leave the planets strictly for PvE.
  20. I think this guy agroed my companion then, because I remember him attacking my companion then attacking me. However, I was on the Jawa Balloon with my Republic character and an Imperial Agent did this with an AEO and I my companion was on a mission. That, however, didn't flag me for PvP, but his attack still bounced my character off the balloon. I don't know why game creators allow this. It's an obvious exploit and needs to be fixed.
  21. I'm not trying to sound like a "cry-baby' here since this is one of my first posts. However I was speaking with support about a possible bug/exploit when characters of the opposing factions are flagged for PvP and attacks someone that is not flagged for PvP and forces them in to a PvP fight (hope that makes sense). Apparently, when speaking with other players, something happens when a character of an opposing faction attacks your companion. If your companion fires off an AOE it will force your character in to PvP with the opposing character. Also, apparently you are automatically flagged for PvP (according to support) when you land on contested planets, such as Coreliia (where this happened to me in the Black Hole while doing dailies). According to support, everything is "working as intended and there is no bug." However, according to other players, this has been happening since beta and it is a bug and needs to be fixed. I'm sure some of you agree that we play on a PvE server so we do not have to partake in PvP if we do not want to and don't want to be forced in to those situations. Also, I'm not sure how my character just landing a planet gives my consent to partake in PvP. Nothing on my character's HUD stated that I was flagged for PvP when I was attacked nor did I flag myself for PvP. I see this as a bug, maybe even an exploit of some sort, that needs to be fixed as soon as possible so PvE players, like myself, can enjoy the game and not worry about being harassed by those few that don't want to follow the rules. Speaking of rules, when logging on to Corellia run, the rules states, "This is a standard environment where players compete against computer-controlled opponents. However, if you want to fight other players (PvP), fights must be consensual and in designated areas of the world." Obviously my fight was not consensual since I was doing the last part of a daily mission when I was attacked. Again, I'm not trying to sound like a "cry-baby," just seeing who agrees that this needs to be fixed.
  22. I would LOVE a system like this. I counted one night on my level 50 character who was trying to RE a level 20(?) lightsaber hilt. It took her 22 times to get the better schem and it wasn't even the advanced one. This system needs a major improvement like this.
  23. I agree with everything you said here. I would also like to see customizable ships, homes/apartments that you can actually "decorate" and more content after level 50. Maybe a world that has mission terminals that give out different types of missions (hunting, resource gathering, killing opposing faction NPCs, etc.) so you're not stuck doing the same dailies over and over again.
