  1. Hey friends, Googled a guide or walkthrough for HoR, but couldn't find much on it. Was wondering if anyone could link me to a guide or give me a quick rundown of mechanics? Haven't played since April and missed that ops. Also, is it 100% they're not releasing new ops for all of KoTFE? Or just not shortly after release? Saw a dev post saying there would be none for KoTFE.
  2. Seriously. Left a group after defeated last boss of legacy of rakata because I hated the tools who were in it. Didnt realize we had to press one more button to get credit. Seriously can we please add some kind of fix that gives us credit for killing EVERY *********** boss?
  3. You do realize that in that hour EA/BW are actually... working? It's not like they get a critical error like every single login system on Origin servers goes down and they think, "Oh man we better let DimmuJanKaarl know our system's down so he can blog about it" before they even try resolving the issue.
  4. I'll say what I said on /r/swtor Damn what A-holes. Was just about to start my first stream since the holidays. I get why people are mad at EA, but poking digital sticks at them solve nothing. Bring the issues out to the gaming community, and raise awareness of better publishers like Zenimax and Bohemia Interactive. Realistically, what do you guys think the time frame for a resolution?
  5. I just wanted to ask, if it was at all possible if there could be a way to reorganize character lists on the server menu? Having 12 characters, many at 50, it fights my OCD to go to page 2 to get to my main. I don't like to compare SWTOR much, but World of Warcraft added this to their game in a small patch around the 3rd expansion and I remember such a small change made a world of difference to me.
  6. I can't seem to locate the fan art here. Did BioWare delete it? I enjoyed looking at fan art and fiction between plays.
  7. 9 Great mechanics, solid story telling (makes leveling actually fun), decent pvp. Only minor issues are limited Operations, GTN, and no guild flagships. Slightly kidding on the flagships, but damn it if ya didn't say Guild Flagships right after release; it's like banging a girl for the first time and in the euphoria of it all ask her to marry you immediately after.
  8. Knights of The Forsaken Order is an secret order formed outside of the Empire. While loyal to the Emperor, we formed our secret Order to weave the threads of power between planets and systems all throughout the galaxy. We're a fresh, chill guild with some TOR vets. We're a casual-core, progression guild with focus on endgame pve and pvp. Which means we don't penalize/reward people bassed on hours played, rather what events you sign up for and make it. You play on your own time frame. We are a CO-GMed guild with uses our tried and tested Noble System for rank structures. This system is an effective way of forming teams for regular events and giving advice on builds/etc by class leaders. We have our own site [here](knightsofthefallen.guildlaunch.com) and our own vent. PM me here, app on our site, or PST an officer in game: Sifora, Malrah, Zeida. Glory to the Empire! -Sifora
  9. Best. Response. Ever. Haha I actually laughed.
  10. Well Snipers can use Sniper Riffles and Blaster Riffles (they're like carbines), so if you wanted you can carry both on you at all times I suppose. I have a 42 Sniper and what I've found to be odd is that Blaster Riffles actually look a lot more cool than most Snipers at this level. Blaster Riffles look more like tactical riffles, like special forces, which I like
  11. Yeah I get that feeling too. It seems like the only people left playing are the ones that never wanted to leave in the first place. Just a tight group of players who enjoy a game together. I like that.
  12. Ha I love being a recruit in a new guild too! I went from a GM to being a noob, and I LOVE IT! I love not knowing everything about the game's changes and relearning a lot too.
  13. I am in Prophecy of the Five, currently leveling a lvl 41 Sniper. They are planning on doing World PvP?! I would love that! I miss the epic battles at Outlaw's Den and Ilum.
  14. Just wanted to say that I've been gone since shortly after 1.2 came out; I stopped for multiple reasons. 1 - The most important of which was that my server died out. Everyone seemed to quit over the period of 2 weeks (around 1.2 release). It became a single player game with the occasional social interaction (I'm talking 2-5 people on RF fleet on a saturday). 2 - My friends moved on. They just lost interest and the guild I ran (about 90 active members) moved to other games. 3 - End level content. Our guild got to the point were we simply got tired of doing the 2 OPs on NM and 16M. I wasn't too mad about this since I was able to get alt runs and help other members progress faster, but it turned some of my friends off completely from the game. So I came back to switch my characters over to the new servers in August, but wasn't able to play much due to work. But now I am back, and I gotta say, I wish I never unsubbed! This is a great game. It's a little fighter, and I think it works well as one. My previous perception of this game was that it would be a major title that EA would shove droves of money towards to fight other major MMOs, but clearly that didn't happen... and I'm glad. I like the idea of SWTOR being this underdog bare nuckle brawler, it could bring it back to it's roots (ie SWG). Less interest by EA means less constraints. Either way, at it's current state, the game is great and I don't plan to unsub again. Keep up the good work BioWare!
  15. Have you ever read The Giver or 1984? Just saying... I'm not complacent to eat the cake no matter who gives it to me or what's in it, very different from being ADHD. Edit: gosh darn it the reply button is completely wrong on this site, PorcelainDoll : REPLY TO YOU. ....did it just replace my words?! I cant say swear words? ie- ****, damn, etc YEP it did. Im done. bye everyone. BW youll miss my $14.99, prob more so lately that no one plays this POS game.
  16. Oh I absolutely know that. But I dont care. If they don't think DWC isn't qualified to be on the TOP of their list. Or by proxy, myself, then they don't get my money. They want me to wait, I wont. Never seen such blatant disregard of customer service, and I used to play WoW.... it's over. If youre on DWC ill be putting all my stuff on GTN for 1c each. EDIT: meant to quote Shirv
  17. Good to know BioWare has abandoned Death Wind Corridor. Resubbed last week for transfer, didn't come. Now I can stay on a sever with 2 people in RF, ~20 IF, 0 in most lvling areas at 6PM every night. Think I'll just not resub. BioWare: Listen to this post. You had me, a fan boy of all your work and star wars, since late 2008. I waited and followed your game and blindly defended it. I listened to hundreds of hours of videos and podcasts, I pre-ordered CE 6 hours after you announced it, I played on Dec 13 (day -7) in the first wave at 7AM, I missed a week of work to play, I ran my own guild (with private vent, .com) with over 200 active users, and I finished all your PvP/PvE content. Your arrogance and greed was too great. You saw this massive project culminating in 100s of full servers down the road. Instead of waiting for the demand of more servers (AND SAVING MONEY), you bought into the ADHD desires of today's gamer generation: No lines to enjoy the ride, well sometimes you have to wait for the good things in life. Waiting in a 5 min queue relates directly to me some of the best times I've had playing video games: Blackrock in World of Warcraft and waiting to play on D1 of Everquest, but to you it meant a failed launch. Well congrats, you put way too many servers online, and when people left in droves, you left us last few loyal players alone, in an abandoned single player game that connected to the internet. Once my guild and everyone in my server left, I decided I'd come back when BW would obviously xfer everyone out. Instead I just got duped into $14.99 I will not spend again. Why don't I just start over on another server you ask? Because I have thousands of hours invested and all my preferred player names, not to mention my Legacy. IMO Bioware dug itself in a bigger hole by adding Legacy and a whole new set of usernames you'll have to change when you HAVE to move from the server BioWare assigned me. I truly never thought this would ever happen. But, sadly, you lost a fan boy today.
  18. I can't remember exactly what mission it was (early on around 30ish and one of the first times I had that option) on my Jedi Knight were one of my choices was [Force Persuade]. It actually helped the person I was using it on in a positive way, but I received negative points from Kira (who is a more roguish character). So I assume Bioware/LA has taken account that using it in a situation where you may be able to talk things out without manipulating people with the Force as a negative thing. I guess that makes sense since the Jedi Code is pretty strict about unnecessary use of the Force. But using it in situations like convincing the evil scientist to stop building his army for Darth Malgus on The False Emperor is an acceptable use of the ability and rewards you with lightside points.
  19. As a GM of a PvE, PvP, and RP guild, I TOTALY agree. /signed
  20. I know most people are saying Watchman on here, but I disagree. Now it may be because I'm geared and have the stats I need, but as a Combat Sentinel I out DPS all my guildies in an EV8 run. The best measurement of DPS so far (outside of PvP) is the 2nd to last fight in EV8. This is because in the fight, everyone gets their own mini-boss to kill. Each run through I kill my 78k boss before any other DPS kills their 78k/48k bosses. Also, I skipped a run last night and it took them about 35m longer to complete haha (that could be other factors besides DPS. ie - op awareness, builds, etc) I like Combat for single target burst dps. I burn down enemies QUICK, and I constantly put out hard DPS over a fight. I regularly pull aggro off tanks in HMs. Granted, I lack the DOTs and AoE that WM has, but I think Combat makes up for it in the pure burst factor. It's also a single target spec, which means its great for bosses, OK for trash. But bosses are what matter anyways. Bottom line is my play style is burn them quick before they know what hit them, so it works for me. And my guildies notice when I'm not in an op with them, so that says something I suppose.
  21. Give me a 110% running buff and I can live with this.. Although I like to show off my boat.
  22. Can you link me your talent tree and rotation? Sounds like you and I play similar ways.
  23. Hey everyone, I'm doing this post on my cell and the search box was flipping me off so sorry if this is a repost. I'll start off by saying, I love my sentinel. I don't really see why people hate on them, but my guy is the bees knees. Ok so like many other players, once I hit 50, I grinded pvp. Now that Im full champion, I am starting to move towards PvE (my main focus) and done a handful of HMs and I start my first EV8 this saturday. I am currently Combat, and I like the burst dps which pulls aggro off tanks sometimes. My question is, is there a preferred spec for Ops pve?
  24. I have a Logitech G510 (http://bit.ly/imrUbC) and loved using it's 50+ programmable G-keys in WoW for 3 of my mains. I noticed, a couple weeks ago, SWTOR doesnt recognize the G-keyes yet (they usually show up as F-keys). Has anyone figured out a way around this? I havent tried it since then...there could be a patch I'm not aware of.
