Reverse engineering campaign belts and bracers only gives a recipe for a BOE version of that item that can be crit for an augment slot. Doesn't give an orange recipe.

20% RE chance to learn schematic is too low for Campaign gear
littlegrubbers replied to Jae_Kazai's topic in Crew Skills
They don't want the patterns to be widespread. I believe the idea for having all campaign gear reverse engineerable is that you finally have something to do with all the extra commendation/drops after you and your guild are fully geared and have no further need for specific drops. If you want to R/E a brand new piece you just got, it is going to be a gamble. -
Do schematics exist for orange belt/bracers?
littlegrubbers replied to JasonChmiel's topic in Crew Skills
You can reverse engineer campaign belts and bracers, but none of the black hole belts and bracers. A successful reverse engineer gives you a schematic for that same item, except instead of being BoP, the item is BoE, and you have a chance to crit the item for an augment slot. -
Perfect Upari Crystals have their own unique node that has a small chance to replace an Upari Crystal node when respawning. You can find them easily in the daily areas on Belsavis and Corellia. They also have a chance of being found in the Grade 6 PVP crafting boxes. The only use for them is for synthweavers to craft the Alpha-Wave Inhibitor which is required on the Nightmare Pilgrim world boss on Voss. The crystals can be traded and stored in guild banks, but cannot be sold on the GTN. The pattern for the Alpha Wave Inhibitor can be bought off the Belsavis daily commendation vendor in the first daily area on Belsavis for 10 daily commendations.

Once you finish the boss your buff from the item goes away, and you get a debuff that lasts for 5 days that increases damage you take from Mental Assault by 200%. I am not sure if this also prevents you from taking another of the buff items.

Thank you Stephen, we will try to get more feedback up as we continue to test the new content.

And every good sniper applies that debuff for 100% uptime. Im am a full Rakata geared sniper that runs NM16 every week, and I have no trouble beating a large majority of the raid on council.

The original idea was probably to make the shots different colors so that people could tell what skills they are getting hit by, but seeing how no one really pays attention to laser bolts it is kind of irrelevant. Having color crystals change the color of your cover shield probably won't ever happen as it doesn't lore-logically make sense for your weapons color crystal to determine the color of an unrelated energy shield, and some feel it would be too confusing in PVP since each faction has a specific color.

Optional class quest not deleteble
littlegrubbers replied to stronghero's topic in General Discussion
I have a bug similar to this where I finished a bonus objective while doing a bonus series quest inside an instanced area, and when I logged in the next day I had the bonus objective again with 17/18 completed and no way to abandon it or get back into the instanced area. Not really gamebreaking, but it does take up a spot in my quest log. -
With the patch 1.1 changes, Exotech patterns now require 400 Biochem to use. The Rakata biochem craftables have always been better than the Exotech craftables, and you the patterns for them as soon as you hit 400 biochem as opposed to having to raid to get the exotech patterns. With the ease of crafting Rakata consumables, the Exotech consumables will have a niche of being sold on the GTN to people that just hit 50 and are 400 biochem, and have not run hard mode flashpoints or raids. By requiring 400 biochem on Exotech consumables you have made them redundant and useless.

Class Balances. Only reply if you are 50 and atleast 450 expertise.
littlegrubbers replied to hieroo's topic in PvP
Nobody ever talks about snipers/gunslingers. We are obviously the most balanced class.
