  1. Because it's pretty and the veils you can choose from that are currently in game are ugly :<. Would it be possible to have these available in the Cartel Shop? You could also put Sith piercings and Rattataki piercings in the Shop too. Just so we can have a bit more variety that will distinguish our characters from other peoples characters. So far there are so few masks and piercings for the races of Miraluka, Sith and Rattataki that it's really boring :/. I would gladly pay for a costume for my Miraluka to make her look like Visas.
  2. Compare it to the loading times you have when you switch continents in WoW. That is super fast. When you try to load up a planet or a flashpoint in Swtor you're waiting ages. You could make a cup of tea and it'll still be loading. I do think something needs to be done to compress the amount of data it wants to send through our internet cables. If it were a single player game this wouldn't be a problem cause you don't use the net; but Bioware needs to fix it for Swtor. They could at least make it more friendly for people who can't afford high end internet or high end computers.
  3. I think the problem with companions is that you grow to rely on having them around for groups and the groups and trash that is created is designed with you having a companion on hand. They are like a crux. One thing that ultimately annoys me with them is when you're steathing to get behind a mob, your companion walks too close or right through the mobs, spoiling your stealth ambush. I think companions should not have an aggro radius. It just gets in the way of players.
  4. I find it funny how people are taking "which class is most fun to play" as which has the best story line lol. I find I have most fun playing Shadow/Assassin cause I like backstabbing. Although I've recently started a Vanguard and I've found that gameplay to be quite fun, though it's a little too OP for my tastes I think. So I do like playing Shadow most, but I can't stand the voice acting for those characters :<. And I hate being Zash's ***** for Act 1 on the Empire side >.<.
  5. If you want it to be over why are you announcing it over a public forum? No one gives a **** about what gender you play as. No one gives a **** if you're a girl or guy. The only one causing a problem is you OP. You're the one causing the fuss. No one else is.
  6. If you want inflation check out the Auction House in Diablo 3 . That's massive inflation. Swtor isn't too bad, as long as you don't buy every cash shop item on the GTN you can do quite well.
  7. Race/species specfiic dances :<. I'm tired of everyone doing the same moves, we need some different moves brought to the party.
  8. That doesn't help the situation; jumping in Swtor is terrible. It doesn't matter how many platform games you've played in the past, the jumping mechanic for Swtor is bad. It's too clunky to jump and it's unforgiving.
  9. The sith might give you some condemnations for completing their quests, you get insulted heavily while playing on the Empire side. There are even a few on Republic that are ******s like the Imperials, although less of them.
  10. Like WoWs pet battles ie Pokemon? People were against pet battles in WoW I think people will dislike it in Swtor.
  11. The thing that bugs me about this on my Shadow is that it doesn't even activate on a lot of mobs. It doesn't even display "miss", it just doesn't do anything on a lot of mobs :<.
  12. The problem with fixing something for PVP often has bad repercussions for the class when they are levelling in PVE. It's a hard thing to balance. If you look at all the nerfs and buffs Blizzard has given and taken away from classes in WoW and Diablo 3 you'll notice hard incredibly hard it is to balance a class for both PVP and PVE. Give Bioware something more to work with. If Knights and Warriors get a nerf with this, what of the other classes?
  13. I think the difficulty curve in SWTOR is reminiscent of the difficulty curve in the rest of Biowares' games, and that is more of a rollercoaster. You ace through that boss that's 4 levels higher than you then you get killed by a pack of trash mobs... The space missions would be the same, and also un-fun.
  14. Nothing wrong with men wearing tight and revealing clothing. What if your character happens to like wearing things like it? Bioware games should promote role playing and character development. What would a homosexual crime lord do with his male slaves if they are not allowed to wear skimpy outfits? It's also eye candy for the female players, so you can put your male romance in the skimpy outfits like the guys do for their female companions.
  15. Just because Blizzard did it with Diablo 3 and it destroys the gold seller markets. It is a very smart idea to destroy the gold sellers.
  16. Ok, the global cooldown didn't upset me that much. What upset me while I was playing was, I was trying to get Tharan Cedrax to move to move him out of AOE, and instead of him moving once I put him on passive he instead kept doing his cast time for his Holiday stun. So I couldn't get my companion to do exactly what I wanted because of his animation. Could we please fix this? If this was a player he would move out of aoe and then he would recast his spell. But you can't exactly cancel the action of a companion that easily. So something should be done about this animations and their casting so we can control what they do. And after that happened to me I noticed how long the global cooldown is. It is incredibly long to wait to use another ability. It wouldn't be so long if our characters had an auto attack, but since there's no auto attack there's an extremely long wait (in terms of combat) before you can hit another attack to gain focus or whatever uses your powerful abilities. So for the global cooldown situation, I think it should lose the cooldown on the basic ability that we use to gain our focus/whatever bar but keep it on the rest. In combat you shouldn't no be doing anything and I only noticed how long the cooldown was because I wasn't doing anything! Please could we have some changes to fix the combat?
  17. The game needs more minor elements to fill in peoples time. The major elements are completed in a few hours for the hardcore players. The minor elements keep you playing .
  18. You can repeat the Bonus Series on every character you play, and levelling with the bonus series helps out a lot when you get to the next planet. So you are just repeating the quests over and over.
  19. People keep going on about the Agent storyline but I hate the fact that you are forced to suck up to a bloody Sith Lord, I don't care if you're an Imperial and that's what you like to do but this fact of the Agent storyline made me not want to play it any further >.>. I wanted to help Keeper, Keeper's cool. The sith lord is not. Although at the end of the Smuggler storyline you're sort of not allowed to ask any questions. Someone "betrays" you and you're not allowed to go, "Whoah, slow down, what exactly is going on here? Are you sure? It's easy as pie to forge a holotransmitter, how do I know this isn't fixed?" But no, you're forced to plow ahead blindly listening to what other people tell you. IMO both storylines are disappointments :<.
  20. I would like to personally do some of the crafting myself. I found some enjoyment out of crafting in WoW, you just set yourself to craft about 25 items while you go and do a cup of tea, in SWTOR that enjoyment is completely taken out of our hands :<. Keep the crafting system, but let the player do some crafting themselves. Or let me do some of the Investigation, Underworld Trading or Diplomacy missions. I wanna do things too :<. My companions have all the fun :<.
  21. Now OP you need to ask yourself the question; how hard will it be to change a game engine once the game has already been published? If you can change the game engine once the game is established within this current engine, then send your work over to Bioware and see if they change it.
  22. This is going to be virtually impossible because of the storylines. How can you faction change a character if you haven't played the story on the other side with the same character? Where would you put the storyline if you faction changed it? It's too weird to think of something like this in Swtor because of the storylines. Just re-roll. It's better to be able to play a story from the beginning and there's also nothing different about the two factions. The only real difference is one side has Black Talon and the other has the Esseles...
  23. I play tank on my Shadow and the whole group didn't understand their roles effectively, save one dps (slightly) the healer was wearing Jedi Knight gear >.>. But the reason I didn't enjoy that group is because I was the only person who was thinking about doing the flashpoint correctly. Hammer Station is a finicky dungeon and you can't have imbeciles plodding their way through it because everyone needs to pull their weight. So I was thinking of waiting til I got to max level to play with people who knew their class and role better .
  24. And have the guy you buy them from go, "ugh, enjoy the smell."
  25. Consular going Shadow is awesome , Sage is almost wussy; but Shadow is cool. You get to ram your double-bladed lightsabre into guys.
