I don't post often on the Forums but thought I would respond to this.
One reason I don't post much is that it tends to be an all or nothing "absolute" thing : People tend to say "you NEVER" "you ALWAYS", and I'm sorry - but absolutes are VERY rare in a true existence.
Another reason is that posting here seems much more a way of "venting" as opposed to actually accomplishing anything. Replies and or responses by anyone who actually can and will do anything that could possibly make a difference (i.e. staff of the company running things) is rather hit and miss/few and far between. For this reason it seems to my like posting to complain (rant and rave) here would be like finding a place where a bunch of folks who use the same service provider for "x" are and simply chatting away with/at (yelling?) them about any and everything to do with said service or lack there-of.
The biggest thing that usually keeps me away from these Forums (as well as any other game/internet "community") is Online Dis-inhibition. The fact that folks tend to act/react in ways they wouldn't in a personal face to face situation because they *can* seems, more often than not, to lead to instances of hatefulness, rudeness, and bullying. Most attempts at any type of rational discussion are lost to those who simply can't abide such things (trolls).
I also notice - at least from my end of things and some chats I've shared with folks over programs like TeamSpeak or Vent - that I tend to read how I "feel"; if I'm in a bad mood I tend to read written things as if the writer was in a bad mood as well. I don't think I'm alone in this, but /shrug who knows.
I hope this was helpful and was the sort of response you were looking for.
