  1. Ok it is all spec dependent. For a Watchman, your surge should be at around 70%, with a crit of around 35% if possible. Basically, this gives you a 50% chance in boss fights to crit (assuming no buffs and 5 stacks of Juyo form), and 100% crit multiplier from Surge and talents. At this point, Power is king due to the fact that it is not affected by diminishing returns in any way shape or form. All your gear will contain Strength, so its not something you can stack as such. Combat is slightly different, as it is mainly based around Ataru form procs. I suppose in theory this is helped by high accuracy as they can proc off OH attacks, but I cant be sure. I wasnt Combat for too long at 50.....
  2. I would just like to point out that Mr Awesome here lists a Commando as one of his characters. He is obviously busy in Illum with his "rotation".... 11111111111111111111.
  3. Just to point out that when you pop Zen you heal for 3% of your max health per tick as a watchman (When talented, which it should always be). Just building my burns on someone, hitting a merc slash and zen and then force stasis will simply ravage most people, all the while I am healing quite quickly and they can do nothing about it. If you are at low health, you can pop Guarded by the Force, then Zen if its up followed by a medpack, and be at far more health than you were 5 seconds previously, while taking no damage to speak of. You can then always Camo and run or use another CD such as Rebuke to help keep you up long enough to be a real pain in Voidstar or Alderaan, while you hope the cavalry is on its way in.
  4. Personally I use Lord Scourge, he is in full Columni/Champion PVP gear, and tanks like a ******. I am watchman too, so there is just no stopping killing the mobs. Just chew through 15-20 mobs, very short regen time, then do the next 15-20. This includes chewing up Elites and Strong mobs.
  5. If you are combat specced, it is worth using it a lot, though you do have to align your cooldowns to use it to its full potential in PVE and PVP. Trust me, I can burn through a caster 50 who has Exp gear in no time at all with this little rotation. Zealous Strike to Open, followed by a Blade rush, and then a precision Strike. Then use Master Strike. With the 100% armour Debuff, I am hitting for over 2000 damage a strike just on my main hand, without Ataru Form procs. Ataru form has a 50% chance to proc during your MS, and can proc off both MH and OH damage (from what I have seen). It can also crit, usually around 500 or so, with a normal Ataru being around 250 ish. By the time your MS has finished, you should just have enough time to fire off a 100% crit chance Force Storm while the 100% armour pen buff is up. With a Surge Adrenal and my Surge/Crit Relic I have a 98% bonus crit damage, with my highest crit I noticed with this ability being around 4500 on a fully geared PVP healer. He survived the intial impact of everything due to his HOT, so i just used Force Stasis to finish him off, to add insult to injury. The fact Combat has a talent that causes MS to root its target is awesome in PVP, and only affects your mobility for a few seconds, nothing major.
  6. My Sentinel likes Sorcerers. The lightning makes them all crispy and crunchy, perfect for breakfast. On a serious note, never use your force leap until they have knocked you back if you can help it, once you are in the pit they hate the fact that you can jump out and carry on laying some smack down. Use kick to interupt force lightning, and dont forget force stasis. If they are trying to run, leg slash will keep them in range or make sure you catch them up really quickly. I always leg slash a new target in PVP, keeps them in range of the pain.
  7. I play combat, but you seem to be missing Overload Saber from your rotation. You can actually cast it as you leap into combat, giving you yet more self healing as a watchman. Just from a quick scan through your post, as I am going to bed now
  8. Off the top of my head.... 1-Strike 2-Slash 3-Zealous Strike 4-Cauterize 5-Force Stasis 6-Master Strike Q-Force Leap E-Force Sweep Shift+E-Cyclone Slash F-Blade Storm R-Precision Strike G1-Medpack G2-Resolute G3-Rebuke G4-Blade Ward G5-Riposte G6- Force Camo Mouse 4- Kick Shift + Mouse 4-Saber Throw Shift + Mouse 3-Leg Slash I am using a Logitech G15, and have most of the important PVP and PVE cooldowns in easy reach on my keyboard. Anthing else major can be easily clicked as I keep it in a logical place on my bars, plus I level with a healer (the wife), which makes things easy for managing what I do and where I do it.
  9. I would rather dangle my wedding tackle in a lions mouth while towel flicking his love spuds, than use her for anything. I wish we had the option to kill companions still, she wouldnt have lasted our first meeting. I hate her character, I hate her story, and I hate the fact that she is forced on my story. Reason enough that I should never use her? I think so.
  10. Lol, I saw your edit at the end there Having tested out BS with Precision or no precision, it does seem to hit for at least 2-300 more damage per crit with precision strike up. You still have plenty of time to get some physical hits in, plenty. To be honest, I changed to Leap>Precision>Zealous>BS when procced. I am a healers nightmare in PVP, as I can knock half a health bar off easy when everything works well. Throw in a slash or strike, with master strike and it can take someone down in about 5-6 GCD's, not bad for a "gimped" class. My wife will attest to this, as she heals me in PVE and PVP, and is amazed at the ammount of focused fire I end up suffering due to my burst DPS.
  11. I dont give a flying what other people did. I would rather quest solo than have to use Kira, for anything. Hell, its with great dismay that I use her for crafting. I dont have a problem, as I level with my wife who is a consular healer. But I would take death after death after death to never have to use Kira or talk to her ever. I havent done a single bit of her "story", and have not done anything with her unless it was forced on me. T7 all the way, no matter what. Or Doc, he is pretty cool too.
  12. Depends on your level to be honest with you. At level 35 I normally open with a Leap>Zealous Strike>Precision Strike. Then, hopefully my ataru form has procced so I have an auto crit Blade Storm, which is next in line. I will use slash as a filler to give an Ataru form one last chance to proc my Auto crit, then hit Bladestorm. I find that using a master strike following a precision strike produces good results. At lower levels, simply use Bladestorm whenever it is off cooldown, and only use Cauterize on a strong/elite mob. Master Strike should also be used early in a fight. Stat wise, you want to stack strength, as it increases our damage output more than power. I would assume that it is similar to WOW in that each point of strength gives us more of a boost to damage than power does by itself, but I dont know for sure yet. Secondary stats are between crit, accuracy and surge. As a combat Sent, you will find accuracy isnt a problem due to Ataru form and talents (6% bonus accuracy straight off), your main hand special attacks will always hit an on level target due to this fact. Personally, I am looking to stack more surge/crit than anything else. When you have maxed out the tree you can control when you get your Auto Crit BS procs using Blade Rush, which increases the value of surge by a hell of a lot. Its like having 1 attack every 9 seconds that hits like a train, with 100% armour pen to go with your focus building attacks too. At this point I would say a Precision Slash>Blade Rush>Blade Storm combo is the way to go, with everything else being a focus generating filler move. Lots of sustained Burst DPS, great for PVP and PVE.
  13. And Ive never used Kira because I have T7. I was forced to use her for the end of chapter 1, at least to complete the story part. Then I summoned T7 and prodded buttock. I am afraid your complaint falls on deaf ears....
  14. I did it no probs as a combat Sent, level 31. I used T7, but he did die every time. I found that using force kick early, the saving stasis for later when they have the rampage buff helps a lot. T7 can take a lot of damage, and will always hold aggro while he is alive so it is the perfect time to front load some serious DPS, something combat is good at with Precision Strike and an auto Crit Blade Storm. Get your mods and lightsaber hilt up to date, and if you can stack some surge rating then you will hit hard.
  15. Best and most sensible thing you have said all thread....
