  1. It still surpasses the graphics of swtor and is MUCH faster.
  2. Yeah, this game is meant to play from a distance of 5 metres and max zoom out with one eye closed and the other narrowed. You can easily recognize classes by what they are doing, so there's no need to make everybody look like this Even if it were a game for kids, if it looks stupid, why feed it to the kids? The artists that created this deserve to die in pain :-)
  3. You are right, most of the armour looks ridiculous. Actually the game graphics look like a 3D animation for kids, with disproportionate bodies and unnatural faces. I would have fired the people that created that ********. I could understand if it were a game for kids, but it's rated. And take a look at this http://www.swtor.com/info/media/screens/evolving-style She's got legs what, twice the length of her torso? Damn it, our drawing teacher taught us the body proportions in the first year of school. Who did this, a cave man? Probably a monkey, cause cavemen had better drawings.
  4. Oh, poor Nazi Germany. Will you let it be already. Like it was something uber-evil.
  5. As said above, a "perfect Sith" would be evil. But not if you totally reorganize the order as Darth Bane once did. :-) I believe the Sith order should be somewhat different. Using your power to whatever ends you like and for whatever reasons, be it mercy or love or any thing else.
  6. So what, you suggesting that BioWare send us a real clock each? We are talking about something a bit different here. A day is 24 hours, everyone is familiar with this concept. It's pretty annoying having not only to convert from those timezones, but also from am-pm.
  7. The 24 hour system is easier for comprehension, that's a fact. However, converting time between the two is pretty effortless. But, yes, I would like to see my time in the 24h format, this whole am-pm thing is totally stupid and serves no purpose whatsoever.
  8. Sounds ridiculous. Imagine fighting Baras or that undying apprentice with force screams and chokes if you are a marauder. That's a lol :-)
  9. wonder if Hitler's been taken already :-)
  10. I am having problems targeting my enemies all the time. - First of all, the only useful bind I found was to target the nearest enemy, but even this one doesn't do what it says. It will target the nearest enemy in your line of sight only. So, imagine the situation when you've just killed one enemy you were facing and you are being melee slashed by another from the back or shot from close distance, and you probably can only partly see him. And in front of you where you are facing there's another group of mobs, which haven't spotted you yet. So you press "target nearest enemy" and you lock on to someone from the unaggroed mobs in your line of sight. And if you force charge at this moment you will not only lose time to switch to the right target, but will probably get yourself killed. - And second, since I have to rely on my mouse for targeting mostly, I HAVE TO SEE THE DAMN CURSOR AT LEAST. The way it is now, with all those effects, shots, explosions, glowing auras and whatnot you can easily just lose the damn cursor in a battle, it sometimes takes me some 5 seconds just to find it while moving it around. I hope they will implement an option to change cursor color. I you can, please give some advice on effective targeting.
  11. To the point of absurdness. All those novels and comics and other stuff are often just a load of horse ****, invented out of thin air by some idiots for small children. They are more like magic stories, completely out of line with what we see in the movies. So I just disregard these creations, which describe Sidious as being able to mind wipe billions of people or destroying stars (and what the hell was he doing in the movies if he had such tremendous powers) and I can't even imagine what they wrote about Luke, who was so much more powerful so they even "had to nerf him". I'm certain he could accidentally destroy a star system by sneezing. What a load of crap.
  12. I guess the Bane Trilogy is alright, at least for the most part.
  13. I for instance liked Nar Shaddaa a lot and so far, having not yet explored Quesh properly (which I quite like by the way), would vote Nar Shaddaa for the best planet design.
  14. Agreed, there's a lot of item names, but far fewer models.
  15. Because he's so damn fat. And all the Force in the Galaxy is not going to help him make any more than a few swings with that lightsabre before he's out of breath. You could just run around him and stab him in the back 'cause it would take him ages to turn around. He would probably have to do that like a multi-deck liner in a long curve like. And that pumpkin of a helm he's wearing. Wonder what he looks like without it.
  16. Oh, I did kill them both violently and without remorse. Can it be that just the Codex is broken?
  17. Can anyone tell me if this is a bug or what. After defeating Jaessa I made her scan her master, scan myself (I was Dark 4 at that moment), told her to follow me to the dark side, had her kill her master (and generally chose options with DS points where available) and in the end I got a light side Jaessa version.
  18. I convinced her to become my apprentice, I did so cautiously and subtly, as I thought, never intended to make some kind of a light side Sith apprentice, still I made her kill her master after she pledged her allegiance, and I get an LS Jaesa? How in the hell can she be light side after that?! And on top of that, it turns out there's no way to romance with her now. That's TWO BIG disappointments in a row :-(
  19. The current situation is that the alignment of the companions is not affected by yours. However if you try to modify their weapon your alignment limitations will apply. Say, I'm Dark III and trying to modify Vette's blasters with some nice green crystals, but I can't, although Vette's alignment is neutral. So I suggest that be fixed, either by allowing us to do so (which would be preferable), or by making the player's alignment affect that of their companions (which would require a complex mechanism to make sense and obviously can not be implemented at this stage).
  20. I think that's not true, you are overgeneralizing here. I'm playing for the Empire and I always had my questions answered and I've seen people actually help each other a lot. One guy even showed me all the datacrons on the first planet by running me into them and it was his initiative, so I did the same to other people after that. I can only remember a couple of morons in the chat for the whole time playing.
  21. 6/10. Way too much X/N quests with no ingenuity. It would have been so simple to make you, say, kill X of N type enemies, while not killing M type enemies, Or destroy X of N items while not alerting the enemy or whatever, from time to time. Or puzzle quests, there are loads of ready puzzles, just take them and use in the game. What I'm trying to say is that the quest stories are always different but you always have to do the same X/N thing, regardless of the quest. Why even bother with the quest story if it makes NO BLOODY DIFFERENCE? In the end you can hardly remember what the main quest was all about. Still 6/10 is a good overall score.
  22. The blood has throughout thousands of years been considered the physical essence of life or soul in many religions and cults. Is that mystic enough for you? There's nothing new in the idea of the importance of blood in determining who we are. So the idea of midichlorians being the source of the difference just gives you a more scientific explanation. All things are both mystic and not, it depends on what angle you choose.
  23. Well, I'm unaware of that part, I haven't read too much on the subject. But it doesn't matter anyway. I still believe that Sidious was acting in his battle with Windu.
