Your right there. The fault lies with BW, if they had shipped last month. The retailers could ship for it to arrive in time for Launch.

I wish you luck there. I would contemplate the same thing but no one in town will likely have the CE where I live. And to get it from Best Buy would mean a 50 mile drive when my car is in the shop and can't be trusted to drive that distance. I guess I could check Game Stop, they just put in a store here in the last month.

Now there is a name I haven't heard in awhile. I used to be fan of Sierra back when Ken and Roberta Williams owned the company. Though I gave Vivendi some of my money after they bought Sierra, I found I didn't like their games as much as the original Sierra games I grew up with.

Because the folks in Europe are being treated better then we are. They had a release day 5 days before North America's release date. How fair is that?

Which is a mistake on BW's part. When we need updates on this situation were not going to get them cause guess what were locked out of the only way of getting that information. Here is why you won't get game codes emailed, except from the direct download purchases, cause they can't guarantee who will get what box. Let's say they give me a code, a week later you get your game and go to enter the code from your box. They say were sorry but that code has already been entered. The reason your code doesn't work from your box is cause they emailed me the wrong code. It would be nice if they reinstated the grace period, but I don't hold out much hope.

At this point I no longer care if I get in for Early Access. Not with the fact that Walmart is jerking me and everyone else who ordered from them around. From the posts I have read their not shipping till either the 20th or the 23rd. Either way I'm not sure I want to be in Early Access just to have it ripped from me on the 19th for 2 weeks cause Walmart is taking their sweet time in shipping.

They will spin the fact folks are being locked out because we don't have a boxed game, they will likely say that is not their fault and blame it on the retailer. In this case WalMart.

That's what Ruei said in another thread also. It's beginning to make me wonder if I will even get a CE at all. And if I do when will I get it, probably after the first of the year. So its like do I go ahead and drop another $60 on top of $150 or wait and hope....

I agree with ya. This is my first and last time preordering anything. Its more a headache then its worth. Did they actually tell you it won't be shipped till the 23rd now? Last anyone heard before the forum went down on the 10th was that they would be shipping the 20th. This is getting really frustrating if that is true.

And of course the problem is that a lot of us won't have the game till after Christmas sometime, which means we'll be out for more then a week.

Oh thats right. Which means I loose any way of knowing whats going on in regards to the Walmart fiasco, since Walmart doesn't know squat.

According to someone else, can't remember which thread I read it on, it's already too far along to cancel. Someone said they had called Walmart to cancel and were told they can't as its been processing for too long, or something like that. They shouldn't. Most MMO's don't wipe simply because your account went inactive.

Depends on how and where your shipping. PO Boxes for example do not get rush shipping. And that isn't Walmart that is an industry standard. Amazon is the same way I can't overnight to my PO box with them either.

I am beginning to look at the Walmart fiasco like this. #1 by the time I get it, everything hopefully will have settled down from the launch. #2 If I indeed get the CE as ordered, despite being refunded my money. And I decide to say screw it I can sell my CE for a profit, CE's are going on Amazon now for over $300 - twice what I paid for mine. Not that I expect to do that once I get it, my Star Wars collection probably won't get sold till I die and then at auction. Though I would still like to know how Walmart is going to make me pay for it. I had paid via Paypal, they in turn after cancelling refunded all but $1.50 of what I paid.

That reminds me I need to get my new hardware installed. I bought a new vid card and haven't got it installed yet.

Mine is listed as processing, but at the same time they refunded my money last week before their site updated from canceled to processing. I would still love to know how they plan on getting my money now since I had originally paid by Paypal.
