  1. Yeah, I think this has happened before.
  2. A couple of things: I used to have this GPU. Never had any problems with TOR. Like the poster above me said, since you're both using the same GPU, for the sake of troubleshooting, have you tried using her card in YOUR computer and seeing if it locks up? I had a similar issue a couple of years ago (freezing, BSODs)--turned out the graphics card itself was defective.
  3. I've just returned after quitting shortly after SoR was released, and I'm enjoying Ziost, also. I can wait a few days for the finale.
  4. Back before release, threads like this just annoyed me--and there were plenty of them to go around. Now it just amuses me that we're still arguing about this over a year and a half later. I think we've gotten enough as it is. It's not like there aren't a number of fairly decent items on the vendor already. (And, yeah, I have an account with the CE.)
  5. As anyone can see from my member number, I've been around since TOR was announced. Still, I burned myself out on the game about six months ago and didn't think I'd return. The double xp weekends enticed me enough to resubscribe. If they continue, I'll keep subscribing.
  6. My friend and I can't seem to find it, either. We're still looking. Will update if we come across it. EDIT: All right. We did find the Imperial medical crate. Here's a picture of my map. I'm standing next to the crate.
  7. According to Twitter, on the 25th:
  8. Well, actually, it says there: So I'll infer from that that those of us who initially qualified--though our subscriptions expire before the 22nd--will still qualify for the 30 free days.
  9. Yeah, as I said in another thread, I'm in (nearly) the same situation as you. I qualified on the 12th and got an e-mail saying I would receive 30 extra days of game time when my current subscription expires (the 17th). There was a somewhat ambiguous answer on Twitter, but I would like to see a definitive answer on the matter.
  10. Yeah, same here. I actually received an e-mail for the original promotion stating that I would have 30 days appended to my remaining time once my current subscription expires on the 17th since I had a level 50 on the 12th. Now I'm wondering if this means I'll have to pay for another month just so I have an active account on the 22nd. If I no longer qualify for the 30 days, that's pretty annoying. (And before someone says I should just fork over the fee and quit complaining, I wasn't even sure I was resubscribing to begin with. Yes, I thought this was a very cool move on Bioware's part, and I wanted some more time to play 1.2's content before I decided if it was worth resubscribing. I'm glad for everyone else who now became eligible for this reward, but I'm wondering where I, and others like me, stand now.) EDIT: This is the closest answer I could find:
  11. While I will say I do feel sorry for people who have been subscribed as long as I have (day one of EGA) but don't have a level 50, I'd still like to say I think it's pretty cool of Bioware to give 30 days of game time to us. In the name of fairness, I think they should expand the offer to include people who have been subscribed for a designated amount of time, though. Still, I was on the fence about resubscribing, and I think I might stick around even after the 30 days runs out now. I'm liking 1.2 so far.
  12. I agree with you 100%. My guild members and I were saying the very same thing a few days ago.
  13. Well, it's kind of ironic (given the "illiteracy" comments) that I seem to be one of the only people who correctly inferred the intent of your original post a first glance. I suppose it seemed logical to assume you were referring to REing for the purpose of obtaining a shell or schematic. (Jeez, guys, simmer down. Not worth inducing an aneurysm [figuratively] over something so minor.) Given the post above mine, it sounds like you at least have a partial answer. I've found the ambiguity of some of the interviews/patch notes on the subject to leave a few questions, also. Darth Hater's website has several interviews you might want to look at, though, to gain some additional insight about the concept, if you haven't already.
  14. Yeah, I'm going to continue subscribing. The game does have a number of issues that I'm hoping to see addressed in the future; however, as an RPG/Star Wars fan, I see no other MMO options that interest me--nor do I see that changing at any time soon. I knew what to expect, mostly, though. I've been following TOR for ages, and I got a glimpse of it during the Game Testing, so I guess I didn't set my expectations too high. I'm looking forward to seeing more convenience features (e.g., UI optimization and improving on the GTN interface) added. As an alt-aholic, I'm looking forward to unlocking the other faction's species, but I'd like to see playable Togruta at some point (one of my personal peeves). A hood toggle would be nice, too. Minor complaints, really, in addition to some of the known and more important issues with the game. Oh, and as someone who is actually a fan of the in-game soundtrack, I'd really like a music looping option. It feels a bit like SWG (in a negative sense) that I only hear the soundtrack loop on most worlds once every ten minutes or so.
  15. Yeah, it took me a moment to realize the post was referring to credits. I think it could use some clarification. On topic, it doesn't bother me one bit. I have quite a few alts myself, and it's painful to level them sometimes aside from their class quests. I wouldn't mind being able to choose how I level via perks through the Legacy system. I've already leveled two characters to 50 (one Republic and one Empire), so I think I've seen all of the unique content I'd like to see aside from class quests.
