  2. are you sure he didn't cast a second bubble? If he already has one up and the CD is free, he can potentially cast 2 full bubbles w/o it ever appearing to go away.
  3. Good points in general, but misleading IMO. Passing is THE fastest way to advance the ball. This post makes it seem like passing is a bad thing. With proper positioning of you and your teammates, there is almost always a good pass open.
  4. i find it a bit insulting that BW claims they were blind-sided by this. There were outcries about PvP support the entire beta and they ignored them. We warned them PvP is the core of any MMO. Regardless of how much you want it to be a PvE game, the game will only retain players with PvP. Things they have been adding and fixing since launch regarding pvp were ALL being asked for before launch...i call BS. Oh...and to say this game has the most pvp of any MMO...i find that laughable. how would they even begin to gather such statics about other games...just shows the mind games they are trying to pull on their player base
  5. I've seen threads like this before, but i dont get it...IMO, any cheese comp will be beaten by a more balanced team if all other things are things are equal (gear, skill, etc). While you have great burst and decent heals w/aoe, the utility and other hard-counters are blatantly missing (gaurd anyone? lol). Your 5 mara's still aren't going to kill that merc healer if he has gaurd, bubble, his shield up, and cross healing. Meanwhile, your ALL MELEE dps will be aoe'd to kingdom come while trying. I think it will be a good Huttball comp next patch, but not for rateds overall.

  7. i believe the RNG is only if the game ends 0-0. In my experience, if you both get doors down and end in a tie, the person who capped the last door faster wins.

  9. yes, it is important, for marking purposes. Especially going into rateds. They just need to give the ability to promote assistants or pass lead, this would solve everything.
  10. except they already said they were adding progression gear to pvp...its just not going to have more stats. its the best of both worlds. nubs can still get gear and can't complain about gear difference and pros can have shiny colors and titles that no one else has for epeen.
  11. i'm pretty sure people are being facetious w/the sage teams (at least some of us)...but you have to admit they have significant advantages on that map, and their hard counter is melee, which has obvious disadvantages on that map....so it would make sense to have at least 2 i think... oh, and i think my previous pt is still valid. The higher up you go in ratings, the less you will see the sageball cheese comp b/c you will be going up against better players who can overcome such things and exploit the team imbalance. which is what you are saying, i think?
  12. sageball: 6 cc spec'd sages 2 tank spec'd shadows this will seriously destroy in almost any huttball game...the problem is that it is weak in other WZs...teams that use this sort of cheese-comp wont be able to win a voidstar against a more balanced and equally-skilled team...i'm guessing the best rated huttball comp will depend on the rating level you are playing at.
