  1. $150 for initial purchase + a long sub on top of that I can't play at all now due to eyestrain and headaches that were not present prior to this latest patch. My two 50s are languishing in disuse. I'm losing time on my dailies and crafting. My friends in game are wondering why I'm not there to play with them. So today my answer is "wasted money, time and effort" I do love this game. Once the headache inducing flashes are gone I'll be happy to say that my money was well spent.
  2. Whatever changes you make Bioware please hire a consultant physician to give his opinion before inflicting another day of real pain on your paying customers.
  3. unplayable - gives me severe eyestrain and headaches now. I loved the game prior to this last patch when i could actually play it.
  4. Poll functionality is just as broken as the new UI. My response; They're terrible. They are a distracting eyesore. They literally give me eyestrain so severe I have to quit the game. It only takes about 30 seconds exposure until I feel like someone is jabbing me in the eyes, followed by a bad headache. I haven't been able to play since the patch. I think it is the frequency of the flashing that is doing it to me. I have poor eyesight. this effect hits me hard glasses on or off. I looked it up last night on the internet about the ADA and games, and it looks like the federal courts have allowed internt products and sites a pass, but I'm quite frankly shocked at this. In the military we had Surefire flashlights issued to my unit prior to hitting Iraq that emit a pulsing strong beam of light that stuns those whose eyes you shine them in. Grats Bioware you may be able to sell this game to the military as a weapon. If this change isn't rolled back or an option to use a more toned down UI added I'll be unable to play this game. That is a shame as I do love this game. I have been playing since about June in Beta, bought the CE, paid for 6 months of subscription. This needs to be fixed so those who are sensitive to this effect can play. I know I'm not alone as I read of many others experiencing the same effect. Maybe you should hire a professional medicalman and have him explaine what this stroboscopic effect can have on people with photo sensitivity, poor eyesight, or epilepsy. This needs action soonest.
  5. I have poor eyesight. I take a medication that makes me sensitive to such things as well. I could play this game just fine up until the patch. Now it is agony. I'm not trying to deny anyone their new shiny UI. I just want Bioware to be aware of how it affecting me. Hopefully they will add an option for a toned down UI for those with issues like mine. Not all of us react to things the same way.
  6. I can not play the game now as the flashing causes me severe and painful eyestrain. If not fixed somehow I'll not be able to play.
  7. I get sever eyestrain and a bad headache after just a short exposure to the new toolbar. Feels like I'm being physically jabbed in the eyes. I've submitted a ticket on this for now, but unfortunately won't play again until this is fixed. It would be nice if an option to not have the strobing effect were to be offered.
  8. The game is now unplayable for me. I have poor vision and all the flashing and pulsing makes the toolbar unreadable and painful. I causes me great eyestrain with my glasses on or off. Bioware I found the original just fine, then you changed it to that light shade of blue which I could hardly see but struggled along with. Now I can barely make out the Icons in a fight! Whatever you do please remember some of your customers don't have perfect vision. Allow us to chose how our toolbar looks via options please. I will not be able to play this game until this is changed.
  9. This new format has made the game unplayable for me. My eyesight isn't all that great. I can't tell what is going on with my glasses on or off. the flashing gives me headaches as well. This new look is totally unsatisfactory. The design back in beta was perfect at conveying the needed information. The change to the light blue hue was problematic for my eyes but nowhere near as bad as what you have just changed it to. Please Bioware test this stuff out on folks with poor vision. Allow us some options on how this is displayed. I do love this game but in it's current state I can't play it due to my physical limitations.
  10. I literally can not play the game as is in it's current post patch form. I don't have great vision and with all the flashing and shadows moving I can't tell what is what anymore with my glasses on or off. The cooldown as it was in beta was fine! then it got that light blue hue that I couldn't see. Now it's totally unusable for me. Bioware please revert to the simpler original format, or make cooldown depiction style an option in preferences. I can no longer play this game. It's a shame. Please get this fixed and tested by folks who don't have perfect eyes.
  11. Look at Preferences in game. You can toggle what you want on.
  12. My CE which was to arrive on the 22nd is now due in on the 15th.
