However, that's because we're still riding on the DPS created in the initial burst and the 2nd attack adrenal used only 3mins later... this evens out quickly though once 4, 5mins. and more time passes. At 20mins+ we won't find ourselves anywhere near 3k anymore, but then again the testing layout said 5mins. so...

With that much MS in there his focus from procs is enough. My parses are 2750-2800 on average in near full 72, which is where it should be. None of us can sustain 2950+ unless you're 100% Kell Dragon... perhaps then. I'd love to see someone prove me wrong though. Just hit the dummy for 30mins+ and the picture will start to show.

Then I can't help you The only significant difference I see between your parse and mine is that I favor OS over PB like Lyrik and therefore I sometimes need to delay PB by 1-2 GCD in order to apply OS first. Perhaps that makes a difference in Focus consumption, I don't know as I really haven't tested anything like that. The amount of Strikes you use looks like a tad more than what I would normally use if Master Strike procced "normally" for me in a parse and not on a lucky break like here. If I can fit in more Saber Throws, Sundering Strikes and Force Sweeps then I would assume you could too, our parses are the same length and anything does better damage than Strike. But in all honestly this a record and I think of it as nothing more, there is no way I can sustain 2950 or even 2850 for an hour as a Vigilance Guardian, not in this gear (~80% 72s). I recon I average 2750 for that kind of duration...but then again, I'd like to see a Gunslinger do 3100 for an hour but that's a whole other story. Well if you look at Kishekzun's personal best parse you'll see that he also only has about 18 Strikes in there. Looking at your log at a glance I can see that both you and I use Combat Focus pretty much at the same frequency where as I get a few more Saber Throws, Sundering Strikes and Force Sweeps in, however, I also have more Slashes. I won't even try to begin analyzing any of it as I am a casual player however I can tell you that I had far more Master Strike procs with this parse than usual. I wholeheartedly disagree with you there. However, I get your point on the pants, but you can use the Battle Expulsor's pants? They have the shirt flaps texture thing below the waist, then again, might not be the style you're looking for, they have the knee patch textures thing.

The Relnex's Robe is an exact Hood Down version of the Battle Expulsor's Chestguard with the exception of the missing dangling cloth under the waist. I am of course refering to the fact that on the Relnex's Robe the undertunic looks tugged into the pants while on the Battle Expulsor's Chestguard the undertunic is appropriately outside the pants. Can we please get this simple remodelling of the Relnex's Robe to have the dangling cloth as well as this is clearly how it should look if you're aiming for authenticity. I sincerely hope for a remodel of this or a new version in the future.

Yes, its certainly important to stress that they are records only and not accurate true sustained DPS. Kishekzun trims the start and not the end which is a bit odd as the general consensus for parsing in this community is to trim end and not start. However, he parses roughly the same if start is not trimmed by the 1sec - 2904 if I recall correctly. I would do 2900+ aswell on this parse if I had the same break on crits, 1% more on procs and same gear as Kishekzun - I have the same stats except 1760 Pri.Dmg. compared to 1790 on Kishekzun. I also do not use Adrenal in my parse. So all in all its roughly the same. Lastly, the leaderboard on Torparse with 3400+ DPS Gunslingers/Snipers should be taken with a grain of salt to put it mildy as they often vary greatly in length ie. from 45sec- 4mins. for instance and are most likely 1/100 lucky break parses. The settings are completely unchecked there and I can assure you that no Gunslinger in the whole World could ever do 3400 sustained, not by a longshot, but more likely 3000 in full 75's for an hour whereas a Guardian might do 2800 for an hour who knows... Luck and parse speculation are the two main things that mire Torparse.

Yeah I think this new spec in Patch 2.0 has awesome potential. By doing the rotation I suggested above I am able to do 2225-2275 DPS consistently in lv. 69 gear and stim with more careful use of Dispatch, Saber Throw, Force Sweep, Slash in that order instead of resorting to Strike as filler but that seems to be as high as this rotation will go. Like you said mate, it becomes constantly unstable when trying to maximise the proc chance on Master Strike while at the same time trying to fit it in only when bleeds are up urgh... I'll definitely keep a close on this thread over the next few weeks.

Hi guys. I have been hitting the damned dummy for 5-6 hours over the past few days to try and find some kind of rotation with the new Vigilance spec. I wanted to try and simplify things first before going to the level where you guys currently. If it can help you guys in any way I can safely say that I have found a perfectly smooth rotation and it pretty much just involves keeping Sundering Strike and Plasma Brand together and Overhead Slash and Blade Storm together, with the two ability groups only but, with me, always seperated by for instance a Strike I just did a 680sec test with this and scored 2077 DPS. This value is laughable naturally to you guys but if you try this out you'll definitely find that there is a perfectly smooth rotation there. Take a look at my combat log below and you'll see exactly what I mean, the same pattern over and over... I am hoping this can help you guys in some way. Hi guys I am testing the new vigilance tree on the Public Test Server and I am struggling to find a rotation that flows, I always seem to end up wanting to use Sundering Strike but its just a few seconds on cooldown. I'd appreciate if any of you guys would share your rotations with me here, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Okay so they're taking our Pommel and Opportune Strikes, could probably live with that. But if the Guardian Vigilance skill tree that is currently on PTS with Patch 2.0 goes Live with the changes to Force Rush, a silly thing called Keening etc... well then goodbyeeee BioWare, I'd rather spend spend my time doing something else than get ****ed in the *** like that :-)
