  1. Not only is there an official response, they're already fixed on the test server. Check your facts before you spout BS
  2. You seem to be completely forgetting that agreement you signed. You know, the one that says you get what they give you, and you'll like it. 4. Content. 3. You're not. I personally built TWO machines for this game. One for me, and one for my significant other.
  4. I can't convery how utterly *********** *disgusted* I am that this is the reply again after REPEATED advertising of the high resolution textures in ALL advertisement media. I was ready to commit to this game all the way, it's got plenty of problems, sure. I'm willing to give a new mmo time to grow but, ****, man. How come when hundreds of threads about this were made this wasn't stated sooner? A lot of us would've liked to know before we spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars building a machine specifically to play this game.
  5. It's a pretty good thing it's their decision what it should look like, instead of yours and not anyone else's. Like I said previously; if you don't like it there are plenty of other games you are more than welcome to go play.
  6. If you want that kind of garbage, theres another game that already offers everything you want. Addons are crutch for bads who need the game played for them. There's no reason to need anything other than the default UI. How about you man up and learn how to play an actual game. The LFD tool is terrible, and I hope I never see it in this game. Regardless of what you think, that kind of attitude that feature is fostering is what's killing wow. I'm sorry you don't know how to make friends, and run things with people. How about not roll a dps class like 90% of the player population and play a class that requires some real skill?
  7. Reading this has actually made me physically angry. If you want wow, go back to wow. I think that I can speak for most when I say that we don't want you anywhere near here.
  8. Awesome read, and I happen to agree completely.
  9. I would think you would've learned to keep your mouth shut around here by now, after Stephen Reid pwned you.
  10. I don't mean to be harsh, but realistic. I have just as many responsibilities outside of the game as I'm sure most of you do. I have two awesome children, a dog, a wife, and a fulltime job currently working overtime. But the measely $15 a month I pay to continue playing this game does not give me some reason to think that I shouldn't have to wait in a queue for what's possibly one of the most anticipated MMOs in recent history.
  11. there's already a 5000+ thread on this. Go read that if you want more information.
  12. No, you're absolutely right. It isn't entirely their fault, but it's just how these things work with every new MMO launch. They're going to open server to meet demand because people are whining about the queue times. Unfortunately, they bend to the demands of customers who will only be customers for a month or two, and end up damaging the experience for customers who have a genuine interest in sticking around for much longer.
  13. Unfortunately, the terms you agreed to when you started the game states that downtime is acceptable. You are, of course, more than welcome to roll on a low pop server and make use of that super valuable time. But, you'll be stuck playing with just your over-inflated sense of entitlement.
  14. It's one of those life lessons you have to learn. If you want people to play with, then roll where the people are.
  15. This is exactly what happens. Good thing they've already said it wasn't going to happen. I wish people would stop bringing it up.
  16. WoW has been bleeding subs for a very long time now, and their biggest demographic is currently china, not the US. I would hazard to say that most of the people there are only still there because there are no better alternatives, not because WoW offers them one more feature that plays the game for them. Start talking to people, make friends, start filling up that friends list instead of hanging out on the forums whining about how the game won't play it'self for you.
  17. You clearly have not gotten to Tatooine yet.
  18. I stopped reading when I this, and noticed your name...and poor grammar. They've already said no. Deal with it and the play the game the way it's meant to be played, not hanging out in a Queue. The dungeon tool ruined those "other MMOs" (read:WoW).
  19. Nope, it's worse than you think. WAR used DAOC's engine.
  20. Nope, would make the development time for the process take even longer. It's not as simple as just switching factions as it is in WoW, where everyone is the same class. The classes, while functionally mirrored (for the most part) still have completely separate abilities, etc etc. tl;dr: It won't ever happen.
  21. Thats what happens when you get all upset about a 10-15 minute queue. The longer the queue is on your server, the better off you will be. Instead, people like you disperse into low pop servers because your time is far too valuable to waste waiting in line. Well, this is what happens when you do that. Your choice now is to reroll on a high pop server, or quit playing.
