  1. TOR has very Star Warsy moments, but they are pretty rare. Most of the time it feels more like one of those novels about rogue squadron pilots.
  2. What about posting some screenshots?
  3. Just use /cjoin Guild500+ instead of using the guild mechanism for something it hasn't been designed for.
  4. I agree. But this seems to be a trend with Bioware games.
  5. Vanilla WoW vs SWTOR? Hate to say it, but I had *WAY* more fun in WoW than I had in the first days of SWTOR.
  6. Don't misuse the term multitasking and speak about stupid people in the same sentence.
  7. That's the orange pixel of doom. In beta the client one orange pixel has been visible all the time.
  8. I'm not interested in GW2. But I definitely will play D3. And at the same time continue to play SWTOR.
  9. I don't even have a legacy name. Go figure.
  10. Just copy the GCD behavior from WoW and be done with it.
  11. I installed Windows 7 64-bit on a 13" MBP Mid-2009 (Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 9400M) and TOR is barely playable. In areas like the Jedi Temple it goes under the 10 fps mark but in open areas it's pretty stable between 25-30 fps. It's more fun playing with a better machine though.
  12. Force Unleashed is neither canon nor a good game. I disliked both parts for being mindless shooters with a Star Wars label. Keep anything related with these games away from me.
  13. Story and character development. ME2 was more of a FPS.
  14. Miraluka Consular named Jedi'blind'dude.
  15. If ME3 follows the tradition of ME2 it will be a first person shooter with some cinematics. So no competition for TOR.
  16. World design is way too linear. It doesn't feel natural.
  17. What defines an RPG is important when compared to other genres. While story is an important aspect of RPGs, character development is equally important. As a player I want multiple choices in what general direction my character should evolve. And with character development or progression comes the most important aspect of RPG: how well you perform as a player is hugely based on the power and abilities of your character. Dodging an arrow is not a matter of how fast I'm able to press a button but how well developed my character's dodging skills are.
