Bwahahahahahaha!!! *cough* Oh, I'm sorry, you were being serious weren't you? Your list includes annoyances in a functional game. AoC had entire talent trees that did nothing..... There's a big difference between functionality (game breaking) and annoying (bugs).

I love my shadow. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing more bad *** or Jedi like then tearing into a group of 5+ mobs(I'm Kinetic spec), flinging large objects at people while all the while spinning with my double bladed lightsaber only to come out of the experience being the only one on my feet. The gear will come and go. I've worn some hideous and some awesome in my MMO career. The class and play style is what matters. I see more consulars around then any other class (other then maybe Sentinels). I'm sorry you selected a class you don't enjoy but at the end of the day "everyone" does not feel this way. Even the majority does not feel this way. Perhaps you should try a Jedi Knight. P.S. I do kind of agree with the companion thing though. Most of my friends have a companion they really love and I never got that.

Try Slow Time. It's not ground targetable like FiB, but the threat is amazing as is the debuff.

I didn't either, that's good to know. Sometimes I feel like I spend too much time looking at my buffs to be able to pay attention to the fight. :-/

I don't even try to hold onto weak mobs unless it's just a pack of them in a pull. Some dps will just 2 shot them anyways and they don't hit that hard as long as they're not bothering the healer. You also don't want these weak mobs eating up your shield charges since the shield is a % of the hit, you want those charges for mobs who are swinging harder.

It's a caster, everything about the description said they were long ranged healer or dps. If you wanna use a lightsaber roll a shadow or JK.
