  1. LOL ok ok I have apparently must have thrown out the fan boy bait. I mean jeez do any of you ever even READ the customer service forum? 6 months to a year from now when the game still hasn't been fixed and is free to play guess you guys will wish they had fixed them then. ENJOY. Oh yeah feel free to say anything you want. I don't care. I won't be checking this again.
  2. Look the game itself is fun, and I was really starting to enjoy the story. I will totally agree with that. I truly wanted to enjoy it. However,..... Framerate issues Ability Delay Other General Performance issues Worst patching system on the planet God awful customer service Hero Engine is Fail Etc Etc ...... completely killed it for me. So, yes I want my money back. The game does not work and doesn't work for a LOT of people. Any of you who don't believe me please go take even a short look at the customer service forums. The game needed another solid 4-6 months of work to fix. If I had been able to get even 30-40 hours of enjoyable game out of it then I wouldn't be asking for my money back. But 10 hours of mostly trouble shooting BW's broken game is not my idea of $60 well spent. To top it off I am told by customer service I can have my money back twice and then told to go to Origin. I will figure it out and get my money back or I just won't buy EA anymore, simple as that. Lastly, I truly feel sorry for you fan boys. I understand game loyalty and approve it to a degree. However, you guys are so dead set on defending this game's massive flaws you don't even realize you should be demanding better. We all deserve better. Just imagine how much better your experience would be if the thousands of people who are about to quit didn't and were also fully supporting this game. That would mean a whole lot more subscribers, which means more money for BW, which in turn means more and better content for everyone. Instead of flaming the thousands of people demanding the game get fixed why don't you guys try and support them for once? Otherwise enjoy the gaming ghost town you are about to experience.
  3. You don't happen to have a link to that do you? And to the haters yes I have been trying to get a refund for a couple of weeks now. I played a grand total of maybe 10 hours and most of that was spent trying to fix the 100's of game breaking issues this game has.
  4. Ok not going to lie that was pretty funny. BW and EA customer service is NOT
  5. God I am getting so irritated with these crappy customer service people. Beyond not being able to read or speak English they don't even read the previous tickets before giving you dumb information. I am fighting to get my money back for the broken game. First email says for me to email swtor.com from my accounts email address to get my money back. HELLO??? swtor.com is not an email address. After many more emails the most recent says no to a refund and I will have to get it from Origin. ORIGIN SAYS TO GET IT FROM YOU!!! One of you needs to give me and all the other people who are pissed over this broken game our money back. PERIOD!! Greetings Mathew, I am Protocol Droid K8-F2 of Human-Cyborg Relations... I have received your transmission regarding to get you money back. In order to do this, we would ask that you email swtor.com from the email address associated with the account you wish to close. 6. Well you are lucky then. There is a near 160 page thread on the customer service forum with people having major lag/fps issues due to the crappy optimization and lack of multiple threading.
  7. Hey man they did. It was in the 150 page thread on the customer service forum. Took somewhere around 137 pages before they would even acknowledge it. I am not going digging for the link to the comment, but they stated they are sorry and are investigating. No comment made on a fix for now or ever.
  8. I definitely agree with you on the looks and how it runs. It min and recommended settings are drastically low for what you really need to run this game just to make it smooth..... and ugly. I honestly don't mind the ugly. The stutter though is awful. It is the most poorly optimized game I have ever.... and I mean EVER played, and I was in RIFT beta. That game was stupid high, but once you got it running right it looked fantastic. Too many people are having way too many problems who have super high end rigs for this to be a hardware issue. Otherwise the game is fun as hell. Hopefully they fix the FPS problems before it tanks and drags half the players out of it.
  9. obviously you haven't read the massive thread on the issue in the customer service forums huh?
  10. Like the title says.... Can the large majority of us who are having ridiculous fps/lag spike/game clunkiness problems at least get an acknowledgement that you guys know about it and are working on a fix? Example: Playing the game perfectly on high settings 60+fps for a couple of hours... then the game gets slower and slower Example: Warzones..... seriously? How can I be at 60+ fps and then go into a warzone and all of a sudden my fps drops to 5?? I didn't buy this game to watch a Star Wars slide show. Example: Complete random FPS spikes and drops which changing the graphics settings have absolutely no effect on. Set settings to max 30 fps... Set settings to absolute bottom 25 fps?? Before people come in to flame.... Yes we all know there are some of you experiencing no problems at all (or don't want to say you are or don't realize you are), and you have a crappy/high end rig. Those of us experiencing problems don't really care that a FEW of you aren't having any problems. Great for you here's a cookie. There is a problem client side causing some serious fps lag. I just want to know if BW is at least going to acknowledge it and let us know if a solution is on the way? My Rig: Not the greatest but runs most everything I throw at it on high AMD Phenom 9600 (TLB Patch deactivated for maximum speed) GTX 460 Nvidia 8 Gigs Ram I find it incredibly hard to believe I could run Rift, which in my opinion was a better looking (though less fun) game, at High/Ultra mix and can't seem to get this game to run correctly. Love the game so far, but would love to have a stable smooth experience and be able to PVP at all.
  11. Ok now that I have your attention.... Anyone else getting crazy lag spikes? I am 99% it has nothing to do with my comp. I was on all morning/day with 60fps at high settings (no shadows though). Tonight I log on and I am getting some serious game chugging. Game started fine and then just got slower and slower till it crashed. What gives? Am I the only one on this?
