Need if you need it on your character, for me greed for all else including my companion, I don't need for my companion but I greed on everything unless its clearly a need for a group member then I pass.

LOL to Stephen Reid for the 'you might want to try rerolling another character" gotta love logic, as that is exactly what it is. But too funny to hear him actually telling someone to do it.

We arrived in an area, and I am not making this up....... Qyzen says "Fagh. Stinking". So what is up with that? I mean...I don't really care but....what the heck?

I still have an active RIFT sub and am going back to it once I get to level 50 here, and then I'll keep this sub and let it settle and come back here when I get bored at RIFT again etc. As for the graphics, you did not really show a fair representation of RIFT Other than that, good job, all 3 games are beautiful in their own ways.

Knocking on wood as I type this but I have a 3 1/2 year old DELL XPS 720 with just an upgraded video card ( 4 gig RAM) and my machine handles the game fine MOST of the time, I do lag slightly upon entering the Fleet....thats it... No running hot etc. Though, for all Dell's foibles, they did build this machine rather well for cooling. It also has a 750 watt power supply while not huge, is very sufficient for the GTX 460 I run.

I've tried most and finally decided Kath Hound is my home, like it the most. Not so much that the RP is any better (its average on all of them) but its a chattier, helpful server. Sadly my least favorite were the West Coast servers.....I am from West Coast but am enjoying East Coast server community more.

Actually, I left wow when they started to support people scoring gear etc. This would be a bad move as it brings players out of the woodwork and pushes good players (like myself) out of an otherwise good game. You simply can not use gear as the only factor in what makes a player good. I have seen players in all greys beat someone in great epic gear etc. Its just not all about gear as much as some of you wish it was Sorry E Peens.

Really Simu built this engine? How cool, I used to play DR too And many of the GM's there went on to be Dev's for Blizzard and work for Blizz too in various departments. That is so cool they turned doing Heroes Journey into making a hero engine instead as I know the development of Heroes Journey was not going overly well at one point. Love DR Was where I originally started to game and played from 97 to 2004 when WOW released.

You can't ruin someone elses alignment as if they are that concerned they should ask before grouping what your alignment is. You choose based on your own responses. If the group agrees in advance, I suppose that would be different.

Well now, did you expect them to hire a character VO for each player Silly.

Yea my daughter gets into my stories as well and she claims she will NEVER play this lol (yea right) She is in WOW right now but I already bought her one just in case.

I'm not bored, just indecisive which is leading me to be sick of playing the starter area over lol. But no, this is not a boring game at all. I think that its a niche game though and that niche is a) Star Wars (big fans right there) and then b) Bioware fans and c) story driven MMO fans. This game is not for someone who wants a super fast moving story line. It is something you have to stop and immerse yourself in. If someone is the type to rush through I could see it being boring without the story being your focal point.

You all need to realize NOT EVERYONE was a part of this community before the game became more known. Sheesh, the guy is just saying he had no idea and feels misled....the sky is not falling because someone has an issue.

As much as it annoyed me in how the initial stages were implemented without much communication I have to be honest now and say the communication has ramped up along with the invites. The explanation of the process given today helped to understand more and understanding is the first step in having people be more patient. I hope in the future more communication up front as that would have prevented a lot of the threads and upset people!! Good job on getting so many in up to December it seems . I got in on my daughters account but not my CE but that is due to CE being ordered later. I am sure a lot was learned from this experience!! I know for me it was.

It was not worded clearly or well so don't feel badly. It should have very clearly stated "Early access is based on when you ENTER your pre order code not when you purchase the game so be sure to enter this code immediately on our website' or something like that. As it stood...it was quite easy to misread if someone was scanning as many of us get used to doing online

You have valid points plus people need to remember MANY who pre ordered in July did not get codes from Game stop to enter until much much later, one got it as late as December. Some got them right away, some didn't. Wal mart people also got messed up on that. Don't base something on code entry unless your code time lines are absolutely perfect which these hardly are. (this does not affect me I am talking about the people it does affect)

You pretty much sum up my feelings but am still sticking with my order, I just don't agree with how this was done.

I don't think there is a good way to do this. I guess the best way , in my opinion would be to allow people based on random generator not order of pre order. I totally get wanting to reward your players who pre order quickly but there are so many who would have if they had also been included in an earlier beta, had money sooner, had access to a computer sooner etc. So many things can delay a person....so maybe a random group in each wave would be more fair. To reward those that pre order first perhaps have a bonus in game or something else to reward them than early access. People, friends, families, guilds want to level together, this way of doing it can take that away too.....so all in all, I'd say it has room for improvement. Alls well that ends well so we will see how it goes. Perhaps giving the first 100,00 pre orders a badge to wear in game or something that shows their dedication or a title even.

Going Sith inquisitor most likely, as I did in beta, I loved it, but the healer version at least is slow to develop, but great as it comes along.

They do have CE, whether because of this Early release fiasco or because they shipped more keys, who knows. I cancelled my New Egg and went ahead with Amazon. I am starting to feel a LITTLE better based on Stephen Reids attempt to give at least a hint of a date for people. It is appreciated, the communication that is.

Me, Like Dec 4 or 5 I never expected to get in right away but did not like how they handled it. I am happy all those who ordered real early are now in though!! Feel for the people who were loyal but just could not afford it at the time.

Yea, its like watching a train wreck, I feel so sorry for everyone but nothing I can do!!
