  1. All attacks can have 1 of 3 descriptors. Weapon (ranged or melee) Tech Force Interrupts are always tech and force which means evasion doesn't help. For example using our own abilities. Our grenades, tech, evasion won't help. Our poison dart, also tech, evasion won't help. Things like overload shot and snipe are weapon attacks so evasion works. That means for classes like bounty hunters their missles and such are all tech and thus we cannot dodge them. Sorcerers all their lightning is force so we also cannot dodge them. Yeah. The ability is really only good against Sith Warriors/Jedi Knights and Sith Assassins and Jedi Shadows and other Imperial Agents and Smugglers. Versus everyone else its not worth anything.
  2. This is a well thought out suggestion and a great idea. It both acknowledges that changing the base-line ability to a target-able shield would be too good for other specs but that the mere change from a talent would greatly benefit an operative. The operative healer is very viable but has little wiggle room for large unexpected spikes and recovering from those spikes. Very /signed.
  3. I'm not one of those people that are going to blast for features, or lack there of. However, I am going to say that this game is old. Engine old. It runs on a 32-bit engine. Don't believe me, get in game, open your task manager and notice that you can only use up to 4 gb of RAM. Also, this game trips over itself with more than 2 cores in your computer. I have a quad core and the game bottlenecks. One core running at 100% with 3 others at 15%. The game itself: no complaints (aside from ones that every new MMO has). And to be fair its impossible to build a new game with all the features of established ones. Its just not logistically feasible. However, these hardware limitations are inexcusable. And while fixable you can bet your brass buttons they aren't going to retool their engine right after launch. That would be expensive. And they are out to recoup money now.
  4. You can go into the options. Forgot where sorry. And increase the queue time you can queue the next ability (the default is like a half second). The maximum is 1 second. So while snipe is casting you can (up to 1 second before it finishes) push your ambush button and it will ambush next. This usually makes it so my snipes aren't clipped.
