  1. When you have the ability to jump to your target, its working as intended to jump across the bridge. But this ability only works once one bridge has been released. I have experimented with my Vanguard with charge and there is a barrier that protects you from jumping across to the doors prior to the bridge from being released. That is why everyone knows not to get close to be targeted by your enemy just when the bridge has been released to have them jump toward you.

    Open your eyes!!

Regardless of whether this patch actually fixes what its suppose to, or introduce more bugs, there will always be players that defend Bioware for what ever happens. Just read the one forum post that informed everyone that Ilum was broken, immediately you have pages and pages of players defending Bioware and calling Players names that they got their dailies done, stating that it was not broken, or that its the players own damn fault for not completing the Dailies, you even have someone that demanded more information on the player you just killed, location, time, and resurrected time that its players own fault for not getting the kills to count because it counted for them. Even after Bioware admitted that there is a bug, we still have players saying that their server has been fixed, even before a real patch ( this early morning) was introduced. Please open your eyes and realize that there are problems, not everyone that posts are QQing or are Trolls. Even if we send in game bug reports, we still need to inform the community that there is a problem with their game. Its what forums are for, to help inform the player bases when the Developers doesn't want to acknowledge that certain aspects of their games aren't working as intended.
  3. I am not here to hate on Bioware or SWTOR, its just that for the PVP community, every time there is a patch, something in PVP breaks. Bioware actually acknowledge this time that Ilum kills weren't updating, weren't giving Valor, wasn't doing what they intended. Every patch, just look at the notes, First it was the Ilum patch 1.1, then it was the Warzone wins not updating ( still doesn't update) , then Ilum becomes an slide show where lag was minimal becomes unstable after a small patch, then its the dreaded Kills not registering anymore ( supposedly fixed with the hotfix this morning) Not to mention all the current hacks and Exploits that is one Google search away from day one of launch to today still hasn't been fixed in PVP. Its not that the PVP player base are against Bioware and its game, its just that they are literally destroying its own game, killing its own PVP player bases. I know its a new game, but you really shouldn't destroy the only working portion of the PVP with every patch.
  4. How about you get yourself to level 50, Join some warzones and win all of it, then have none of them count, then go to Ilum, and have none of your kills count after 2 hours of raiding. Then have it happen for a whole month that you are paying them for. Then come back and tell us that Forumgoers are dumb and wants everything on a silver platter.
  5. BTW, Did anyone catch that while kills aren't counting toward anyone's dailies or Weekly , Imperials that outnumber the Republics can still camp Central and collect the Armaments. So apparently only the Republics on most Servers are getting the short end of the stick. Great Job Bioware, Give us more reasons to reroll into the Empire Faction and abandon the Republic.
  6. On Terentatek its still not working. Apparently once you killed someone, it will take an 30 minutes to an hour before you can kill them again for it to count. And that timer is for everyone, so if you were unlucky and didn't tag the enemy, you have to wait atleast an hour before you can kill that person again. The Imps has atleast 60 players fighting against us. Since there was an Ilum 2 open, and it took a full ops group of 24 players pluse another ops of 10, 4 hours to register 90 kills. Thank You Bioware for another fix patch that apparently destroyed all functionality of Ilum. BTW never trade killed, always been in ops always fighting against a 3:1 odds that Imps always seems to have atleast 50 ~ 60 players. It was atleast playable when they would camp in the republic base camp, but now what are the reasons to even be at Ilum when kills don't even count.

    PvP today... ***

PvP -> ** BIOWARE Response Needed for Game-breaking Ilum Bug ** Hi everyone, I wanted to give you all a quick update. The dev team has been investigating the cause of this issue and they're closer to figuring out a solution. As mentioned before, we'll keep you updated with any new developments. Thanks again for your patience on this. I quoted the developers response , because I know how ignorant some people is, just because it worked for you this morning when the patch first came on, doesn't mean that everyone on the forum is wrong. The Developers has acknowledge that there is a problem and they are close to solving it. Therefore ILum isn't working as intended, so stop trolling and let people inform others that currently Ilum is Broken.
  8. First of all, I don't have All day to wait for them to fix this problem, I hope that they are acknowledging that it is a problem because I always complete my Dailies, and this will mark the first time that I can't. I work till 6pm every day, i got a few hours to get my dailies done, now that its impossible to do, what do you want me to do. Forget about the daily , the only daily that provides me with Battlemaster bags that I can't get anywhere else. Come on, all i want to know is if Bioware needs time to put up a hot fix then atleast give us a free daily completion. I can still get the weekly the next 6 days, but atleast inform the public that everyone will be rewarded their dailies so that we can give them enough time to get a hot fix out. But currently It seems that only the Imperials will get their dailies done, because they are camping the central node and collecting the armnaments. ( remember even if it takes hours, they are still getting it done, only the republics can't get their dailies done )
  9. JUst had a very close game of Civil War, Republic finally won after a long battle of back and forth. The Win did not count, Quest wasn't tracked and it didn't update. Please note that it is a Bug, but since its a bug that isn't an exploit and its not an exploit that affects Imperials only. This bug will probably never get another look when they need to make sure everything the patch just ruined, need to be fixed.
  10. Remember what the Developers just posted, First they need to gather data, So after 2 month of gaming, they probably still need a whole month of wins not counting. And Thousands more Tickets to be created. Then they can have their meetings , then after another month of meetings, they will form a focus group to deal with the HOW TO GUIDE on creating a FIX. But since its not a big deal, only a small percentage of players of SWTOR is doing PVP, therefore its not on their priority of things to do. So they will do this FIX probably after Patch 1.2 , even thought it was stated that they just got it fixed, wins are still not counting so its probably on the back burner. So you will probably have to wait till Next year to see that this actual gets fixed. Remember, Exploits that is against Imperials comes first, then general Exploits, then Bugs that affects the larger player base, then general Bugs, then Bugs that affects PVP players.
  11. 2 weeks so that you can get a Champion Gear piece, good Luck, I am Valor rank 61 and I reached level 50 on the Day of the New Year, and I still do not have a full Champion gear. Thats with all the weekly and dailies done every day. Plus getting enough Commendations for 3 bags every day before I log. If you are talking about Centurion Gear, then yes , have fun farming this subpar gear. Just make sure you don't ever inspect any of your friends or guildmates that gets to 50 after you. Because they probably have more luck than you and already have full champion gear the first day they open their 6 bags. This is a system that only asks you to do your dailies, any effort to achieve a higher valor rank has no effect on your Gears. Until you reach 60 valor rank, then its truly just the dailies that occupies your time.
  12. First off, this will never work, Because when its 30 vs 50 imps, Republic will always win, there is no way Bioware will allow IMPS to lose, BIOWARE plays the Imperials side, they need to ensure that they can win against the Republics. Anything less than 1:3 will allow the Republics to win, therefore they created this system, Knowing that with the over populated Imperials will always fill the most spots. Secondly, having a limit of 50 imps, they will have to create 10 Ilum instances, and who will the imps fight, there will not be enough Republic players to satisfy the Zerg of the Imperials. When they decide to even the odds, is when the Imperials are getting some sort of extra buff so that they can always remain with some sort of upperhand.
  13. I really enjoy playing this game, but its just starting to become unbearable... Before Patch, Ilum was a lagfest when in raid of 24 vs 70, but it was still bearable, attackes would still go off, my character was still able to move, and the lag disappears once i leave Ilum. After Patch, Ilum has become a slide show when 24 vs 70 , I can no longer move as, every few seconds, my character would freeze on screen. And it continues even if i jump to Warzones or get back to the fleet. After asking everyone in the raid if they are experiencing a worst lag experience, they all agree that it was never this bad, and this is the same people that raids Ilum every night trying to make Ilum a actual Open world PVP. I don't mind that Imps gets all the benefits, I don't mind that you are fixing every republic exploit and advantages so that Imps gets the upper hand. What I do mind is why is every patch that is introduced, instead of fixing, it just introduces more bugs, create more lag. Why is it that you ( bioware) are trying to destroy your own game. Bugs are expected in a new game such as this, but when you fix 1 bug by introducing another 2 , its really not fixing. Please see that everyone that is still playing wants to continue playing. Unless this was intentional and your intent was to drive your players away. Then I applaud that you are succeeding.
  14. Now that Bioware has established its playerbase utilizing features that is familiar with other MMo's I belive its time to introduce features that is unique to separate itself from others. PVP Suggestion #1 Remove Gear = Progression mentality Introduce LOL/DOTA mentality where every 10 valor ranks = 1 extra pvp skill point Introduce PVP Skill progression in DPS/TANK/HEALER trees small increase instead of expertise Introduce PVE ( group/raid ) Skill progression in DPS/TANK/HEALER trees with 10 social level = 1 point PVP Suggestion #2 Server Wide Gambling with Unique speeder/ Crafting Receipe/ Mod Items / Orange Gear/ Unique space ship mods..etc Racing games / Space games that allows people to compete with each other Tournament like Bracket system that allows actual competition within each advance class ( jedi shadows vs jedi shadows, smugglers/operatives vs smugglers/operatives ) to show how awesome each player is Team vs Team competition so Guilds / friends can show how organized and great they are with monthly tournaments ( like tennis where even when you are #1, you will still be playing from the beginning to reach the top place again ) ( also like sports, you have singles tournament, and group tournaments )
  15. I can't believe that there are people out there that are actually okay with all the issues that is real and should be fixed. Apparently the constant loading screens aren't bothering you at all and you probably don't pvp so you don't mind that one faction gets geared and can steamroll the other faction. And since you don't pvp, ability delays aren't an issue as well, since you aren't against another player. What about the PVE bugs, those that makes the Operations buggy and unplayable, where kills aren't registering No one asks for SWTOR to be perfect, if you actually read what people write, you will realize that almost everyone is only asking Bioware to respond to the issues, stop saying that the game is " WORKING AS INTENDED" Personally I just want Bioware to come out and say that they messed up, they are fixing it, PVP is broken , Illum will be locked until further improvements, the bugs and ability delays will be addressed by next week. New content will come out once all issues that affects the actual game play will be addressed. But because they aren't, thats why people are frustrated, not because its not perfect
