Yes you would want to use battering assault after the charge > ds, it would be highly recommended anyway. You could also use you're force choke (lvl 24+) or your rage building ability that you start with at lvl 1. (Can't think of what it is called) Anyway, any of those would work but battering assault will build the most rage out of those three.

The only time that almost all your abilities should grey out like you're saying is when you don't have enough rage. If you don't have rage you can't use abilities...

If this bonus you're talking about is the set bonus it seems very unlikely since the mods have nothing to do with the bonus.

If I recall correctly, you are able to put two points in that. The first number is with one point and the second is what the value would be with two points. I also think that it is any damage taken (melee, ranged, tech, etc) that will build rage.

I wondered how long it would take to see a thread like this. Personally I have been puting out the same damage as before. (175-250k) still have that game here and there where I top 300k. Gear wise im BM/cchamp and stayed with the annihilation tree.

My question to you is why didn't you try this when the pts patch notes came out. Marauders are honestly not changing a ton. Yes the skill trees are getting "adjusted" but your overall play style for the mara wont change too much as far as I'm concerned. Like stated above if you have a problem wording about too many buttons/abilities this isn't the class for you. Also something to keep in mind, your current class probably wont be as "nerfed" as you think, you are just going to have to figure out how to do things a bit differently than you were used to. I would imagine it would take you less time to do so on your current character than to invest the time leveling a whole new class and get good at it as well. The bottom line is that this is an awesome class BUT not one that will allow you to just faceroll. There is some skill involved and one that requires you to pay attention to more than a few things to be one of the elite.

Had this happen once while defending, wasn't a bug though. I was the only one in the group paying attention and they got trapped by the door. Died quickly after getting focused 8v1 and they had the bridges down by the time we got anywhere close to them.

@Ultimatesjk The red/black are from battlemaster and rakata sabers. Can't take the ones out of the battlemaster ones though. I used blue sabers (LS sith) till I was able to get purple ones and I love them. Will be using red/black once I get enough bm tokens. I would prefer the blue/black instead if they were available. Also something I would absolutely love to see would be white/black crystals.

Marauder is the only toon I need in TOR. Thinking about playing a ranger in GW2 when that comes out, when ever that may be.

Just a thought. Maybe this "make everyone a battlemaster easily" thing is actually an attempt, by Bioware, to make things more on an even level when they implement the rank/stats system. Like I said, just a thought.
