  1. signed! too many off tangent missions that are off the quest progression path.. and way too far apart. I think 85% of time on a planet is moving around and the remaining 15% is spent doing the quests. More time should be spent doing and less time getting to.
  2. There are mounts you can craft using cybetech. I cafted my lvl2 speeder and its a custom mount you cant purchase at a vendor.
  3. I think it'd be pretty cool if there were invasion zones on the capital planets of Dormund Kaas and Coruscant. I mean.. the empire and republic are at war. Shuttles on each planet at starports to take you to the FOB and republic and empire pvp it out for certain goals or control of certain areas. Persistent and not qued.. whatever side controls a greater number of areas or goals gets bonuses faction wide regardless of whether you participate in the operation or not. Maybe a slight bonus to xp or whatever, but in any case, there is incentive for toons to participate. This would be regardless of what type server you are playing on. Might make the galaxy seem more fluid and not so static and lie a station to station experience.
  4. I would have a Need button that checks against what your current toons armor abilities are though. So if you are running with a light armor wearer and a heary drops.. auto selects the greed option. If ther are two light armor people and a light armor drops.. both get the option to select need or greed
  5. I see a few posts saying there these options should be checked against current companions and armor skills, but that sort of takes the choice aspect out of the equation. Its a slippery slope for sure. Why not implement a button that plays the gam for you. I dont agree with people rolling need on companion gear, but i dont see how you can implement without removing choice from the equation. Some poeple can argue that the want to equip their companions in an unconventional way and the game should restrict them from doing so.
  6. 1: click destination 2: screen shows your toon siting on an invisible speeder stuck at taxi stand 3: only happens when grouped 4: only fix is to log and log back in, in which case you appear already at your destination and, of course, partyless. real annoying... has been there from day one.
  7. How would a companion need button fix this. Each player has a reange of companions that can fit the full range of armors and stats. everyone will just resort to rolling companion need instead of greed and we'll be back to square one. I dont see any way around this problem other than accepting the fact that in any sort of honor type system, these things will and always tend to happen. It's either take your chances in a pub group or just get in a guild of players on the same page and run instances and missions with them. Or, just state that yoiu need the item prior to instance and even during the drop itself. you are given ample time to resolve these misundertanding before the timer runs down, as was already stated.
  8. What about the bug where when in a grouped with members, initializing a taxi ride from one place to the other results in getting stuck at the originating taxi stand in a sitting down position on an invisible mount. The only way to resolve is to log and log back in.
  9. Basically.. everywhere you can put on. put one.
  10. Although I like my legacy name, I still see no reason why Bioware insists on pegging a permanent tag on a toon. If you want to change it, change it and take your chances that the new name you'll choose is available, but there should be no restriction on this.
  11. I hav a feeling this is not a bioware issue as much as it is a vid card driver issue either associated with ATI or Nvidia cards. Bioware may have their hands tied on this one until the driver guys work out a fix for it.
  12. I was just using that as an example. Ive been in instances with a bunch of great guys. say a solid tank, and two sorc's for example. These guys wear light armor and sometimes people just aren;t wearing all pototype stuff but may have some sub par armor for whatever reason. At the slightest amount of DPs these guys take anHP hit. These guys in not going to let die all the time, plus it could be a chore getting a group together to run these things I do agree though, tings could be a lot easier with a bit more patience and strategy rather than impatience and idiocy.
  13. As a merc specc'd for healing, I usually am the main healer, or only healer. There is no keybinding for next party member. Next friendly can hit anything in a certain radius, and even in certain instances there are friendly NPCs. I know about Target focus ( which isn't the most fullproof thing since its a bit buggd) and use it for the MT. However, relying on "next friendly" to bind to a key isn't precise enough. Bioware, can you just add an additional keybinding for "next party member"? It would make a world of difference. Not all parties are created equally, and a lot of the times im forced to devote a lot of my healing reserve to a dps member a bit below the instance lvl running around like a chicken with their head cut off taking too much hate away from the tank. With a solid means to switch beetween party members would be nice.
  14. A simple stack command to stack like items in the inventory would be nice.
