  1. to add to the auto camera issue its near impossible to mouse click target someone in a wz. you have to get directly on the actual character instead of in the area. Even if its just one person in the middle of nowhere. I have that problem in huttball often. Guy with ball running from me, Im in the middle of a large group of enemies but I need to force charge the ball carrier..... *TAB TAB TAB TAB*..... No Luck.... *Mouse Click* miss... repeat several times... oh wait im dead now and never got my charge off
  2. Does anyone realize that your talking about a game thats been out since like 03 or 05 or something like that vs a game that just launched? Consider the begining of WoW, no flying mounts meant that you were restricted to just going alongvery similar paths. Even now in WoW you get off your flying mount you have very few options or points to leave a zone and they are all the entrance of another zone. Mabye like 4 exits per zone and they almost all go through a very small hole. The difference in SW:TOR is that each planet has many zones at wich you can freely come and go between. Its rare in this game that you are restricted as to how you can get to another zone once you are on a planet. Sure there are more "recommended" paths, but oh well. Go back to WoW and on your NOT flying mount i.e your GROUND mount, let me know how many ways there is to get out of any zone and how small the exits are. OP, you play Alliance, now take elwin forest for example, there are 4 ways out of there 5 depending on how you consider them. you have the narrow canyon between 2 mountain sides to RedRidge, another narrow path to whatever that farmland area where deadmines is, a boat that leads to I believe Northrend, and you can cross a river to duskwood I blieve it is just below there, at wich point you have a random mountain placed directly on the other side wich makes you have to go one side or the other. Now tell me that WoW is more of an "Open World" than SW:TOR
  3. They have stated that they will allow addons in the future and a lot of MMOs go this route where they dont allow addons right away. Im assuming its so that they can pin point issues easier and not have what in my experience another MMO started pawning off issues on(the addons).
  4. What the title says. I can think of many but I dont feel like writing a whole lot on the subject. We all have things weve noticed about the UI that bug us and Im sure everyone including Bioware would like to hear it. So for this threat lets keep it simple and at least somewhat intellegent. State the part of the UI that bugs you. State your suggested fix for it. Here I'll get us started. The GTN search options can be annoying with the required feilds and the inability to shft+click an item into the search bar. Now I dont know the technical side to adding in the Shft+Click an item and it puts it in the search bar, but adding that or even a box where we could drag an item into and have a quick search for it would be nice. Also it would be nice if the required feilds were removed and we could do a more generalized search. Sometimes I like to just scroll through the various items with no specifics in mind.
  5. Yeah I understand that, but realy this isnt the place to be promoting the game considering the majority of us on this site either are playing the game or planning on playing it. It makes it worse when you see something like that, followed by viewing the forums and seeing complaints.
  6. Dear Bioware, You should realy stop celebrating so much in your updates and wherever else you are doing so. This game is not set in stone yet, and there is alot of bugs that need tending to. I understand your happy that there are over 1 million subs right now. Wheather or not you are allready in the process of fixing the current in game issues, your weekly updates should be spent reassuring us that you are working on fixing these issues. Personally I came here to put my two cents in about things that I've noticed in the game that I have noticed to try and help make the game successful, but when there are quite a number of issues in game right now and your weekly update is spent celebrating because you have a temporary spike in numbers over the holidays at wich the game was launched over, the game dies a little bit to me. In short Bioware, dont give us your excitement about the games numbers. Its just going to piss those of us that have noticed bugs and other irritations assume that your not too incredibly concerned by them. Allready working on putting out new content is great, but fix the content in the game now before you do! If anyone else is irritated by Bioware's flaunting their subscription numbers for a game update the same as I am, Please comment. *EDIT* Notice that I said " The game is not set in stone yet" meaning you can celebrate once the game is set in stone. The numbers that are out for how many subs they have are realy incorrect, as you have to add a sub to even start playing the game wich most mmos do not require upon purchasing the game.
  7. Ive had this problem alot. I play a Marauder and it especially gets frustrating when Im almost dead and try to use FC (IN-Combat Stealth) and it just doesnt go off at all. So I back out like I would normally do if it works so that I can hide or do whatever is needed, Instead I just wind up getting blasted to death.
  8. i agree with alot of this... especially the part about Voidstar.... they need to find a way to fix that... 90% of the games you lose in voidstar are due to spawning issues or the fact that it takes one baby punch to stop you from disarming the bomb so far in Voidstar i have yet to see a bomb disarmed. The whole 25 second respawn thing works fairly well in Huttball, but lets face it, when you have a bomb that goes off in 20 seconds and your dead for that whole duration if not longer, it kinda makes it hard to stop that. Considering that even the slightest touch will stop you from disarming the bombs it makes it near impossable to do. Ive tried everything I can think of to get the job done. Sneaking, Killing then disarming, bumb rushing it, etc. not to mention the bomb timer is 20 seconds and it takes 8 seconds to disarm it.... thats almost half the time to disarm it, meaning unless your there in under 10 seconds you cant disarm it. The Wz's need some sort of bracketed system. I know Bioware wants people to be able to just jump in and play the game with friends from the start but WZ's are realy painful to grind. Im lvl 50 and trying to get gear and in order to get even one piece of gear I have to get lucky farming around 10 games just to get one bag that gives me 3 commendations. In order to get my first piece i need around 20 commendations..... you do the math. Not saying I dont like the game , but damn warzones need alot of work!!
  9. Do you people not realize that this game has been out a whole week? WoW has been out for how long? 6 years or so? I didnt play vanilla wow but i highly doubt it was this good the day it launched.
  10. ive kill several people in open world pvp but havnt been rewarded for it, as far as i know. hopefully this will get fixed soon seeing as how they said there was going to be a reward system in place for it
