o im sure we will get a blue one a green one a red one, an orange one for Halloween, a purple one and just about any other color you can think of... then we may get a new one that looks totally different... though i wouldn't hold my breath

umm not really kuz the jet packs aren't used like a speeder in the movies or in the books its for limited flight much like the rocket boots... if anything you should be upset about the rocket boots rather than the new jet pack mount. in fact having a jet pack as a mount is kinda dumb really.

also doesn't mean they are not logging in on another toon! or onto another server!!

no need for a name purge. if there is a name you want and its already taken? tuff think of something else!!! be a little more creative and think out side the box! i 100% agree with that last part!!! if i came back after a long break and find out my names have been taken away from me i will not come back at all. there are too many extenuating circumstances that can cause people not to be able to log in for long periods of time one of them being military people being deployed name purges are a bad idea and you are not guaranteed that the names you really want will be freed up

in SWG it was the thrill of the hunt!!! at times quite literally. you had to hunt down the critter that had the best hide, or hunt down the best element of the week/month and hope you find a good supply of it and hope no one else has put down harvesters yet. then once you get all your top grade supplies you had to actually go and craft the item and there were extra bits you could do to make them even better and hope you dont get any crit failures. it was fun and exciting and if you made some top notch items you could sell them in your own store. what also made it fun was that you didn't have to go to a trainer to learn things you could go to another player and have them teach you. it let you play a Watto type parts dealer or the bartender. nearly everything in game was player made!!! instead of playing a pre recorded story and being led down a path you wrote your own story, it was like you were a part of the movies, you got to play one of the back ground guys you see walking around. THAT was what made it all so much fun.

i have played all versions of SWG and i can tell you the NGE was horrible!! it turned the game into a FPS game with a horrible twitch combat. it also took your toon and moved it to the left so you could never get it centered on the screen. they took away all the classes that you could mix and match and replaced them with cookie cutter classes that you were locked into (much like this game). the combat upgrade wasn't so bad, what ticked off a lot of people was that we no longer needed to sit in line waiting for buffs. that was about it really. the really bad rubber banding really didn't start till right before the NGE hit and in the Emu there really isnt much of that happening instead your speeder blows up kuz someone shoots at you or a critter hits you and blows it up B^P i would say the only real big thing this game has over SWG is its graphics. some of you all might say the stories but for me the stories are fairly boring after the first chapter and there isn't enough class stories, all the filler fluff quests are the worst. what SWG has over this game is you can be something other than Human, or mostly human looking. you can be a mixture of different classes, you can roam around a wide open planet, you can actually craft things your self and make things better. there is a better since of community in game, player built and run cities, so much more customization not as many cookie cutter toons running around. i have been thinking really hard about going into the EMU and just playing that instead of this or any other MMO and to be honest im not sure whats holding me back, i really miss my Ithorian crafter. for those telling the OP that she shouldn't be judging a game (NGE) without actually playing it first hand, trust me you dont need to, just watch a couple of videos on it that is enough or if you really want to see how it played go play ESO that game is a new age graphics version of the NGE with a few extras thrown in.

to be perfectly honest i have no freakin clue why im still logging into this game. my toons haven't left their Strongholds in over a month, the only thing i have done in game is try and complete some of my toons/companions outfits/looks. i would like to see the rest of my toons class stories though i dont know why, they all drop off and become dull and boring after the first chapter or two, but that would mean i would have to do all those super boring fluff planetary quests as well and i just cant do that again, once was enough, the second time was pure torture!! the game has gotten a lot better since it was first released but i still dont really think its worth a sub fee.

why do you keep bringing up lawyers?? especially when no one else has. let me guess you were one of those exploiters that is waiting to get banned and is taking it out on every one else.

but its story sucks too!!! its real draw is it is Star Wars!!! you get to run around with Lightsabers!!! PVP sucks and Story sucks in this game. the F2P part of the game sucks really bad too, its almost impossible to get others to even try this game out. you either have to be a die hard Star Wars fan or a die hard Bioware fan to really like this game and keep subbing to it.

reasonable price?? maybe depending if you can catch one cheap but check out ebay. if you have a half price books close to you you can check them out but i doubt they would still have them... its kinda old now but you may get lucky.

their graphics is a lot like other games both console and PC. on the PC side its like a lot of MMOs and MOBAs. its a mix of anime and American animation, i dont mean cartoons made for kids i mean animation made for adults (Family guy, American Dad, Simpsons, Beavus and Butthead, Super Jail, Squidbillys and the like) Its graphics was not a drawback. The only real drawback was how grindy it was and how much it was made for the super hard core endgamer.

you are right character bans is not the answer... complete account ban/deletion IS the answer! who cares if its big news?? it will show that you cant cheat and get away with it no matter how much you spend in game! again people broke the rules why is it a bad thing if they get punished?? what kind of image would it send to these gaming groups and social groups if they do nothing?? the exploiters knew they were breaking the rules and they knew if you break the rules and get caught there will be consequences. It is now time for them to pay those consequences.
